The battling brothers’ bond was severely damaged after the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped away from their royal duties, and later publicized their family drama, but it’s possible William and Harry could reconnect in the near future.

A royal insider claimed the Princess of Wales “feels terrible” that William and Harry have minimal contact. Still, it was reported — after the friend’s confession — that Harry reached out to his sibling and discussed the possibility of returning to England.

Despite Harry’s potential move to his home country, Tom Bower thinks it would be impossible.

“I don’t think he can come back,” Bower told an outlet. “He’s caused so much damage to the family and the concern now is that if he does return, he could well damage it even further.”

“I think Meghan would’ve been horrified by Harry’s suggestion,” he added.

The royal biographer later noted that the Duchess of Sussex wouldn’t want to abandon her Montecito mansion for a humble home in Kensington Palace.

“She’s not close to William and Kate … I would imagine the last thing she’d want to do is return to England to live in a small, poky flat in Kensington Palace,” he explained.

“Harry and Meghan are experiencing a crisis of identity, a crisis of purpose and a crisis of finance,” the commentator later shared. “I think they’ve exhausted their possibilities and have hit a brick wall.”

The Royal Observer previously reported Kate was disappointed that Harry was ostracized from the family.

“Kate’s let it be known to the Palace aides who still speak to the Sussexes that she thinks it’s an extremely poor show the way Harry’s being treated,” a source said.

The source later said that the Suits star was angered by her sister-in-law for meddling.

“But Meghan is furious and thinks Kate has no right getting involved in her marriage,” the confidant admitted. “She would never dream of interfering between her and William.”

Although those closest to the crown think Harry and William will eventually mend things, Tom Quinn previously stated that their bond was irretrievably broken.

“People I’ve spoken to who work for both William and Kate say this is never really going to be healed,” he confessed. “Privately there’s a lot more anger than there is publicly, especially about the accusation William physically assaulted Harry. Apparently, William is furious.”

But not only this, the royal pro also claimed that this ‘pressure’ isn’t helped by how insensitive Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, appear to be.

As the Waleses deal with arguably the most difficult time of their lives, Tom Bower claimed that the Sussexes’ new ventures are ‘rubbing salt in the wound’ for Kate and Will.

Speaking exclusively to Woman, Tom shared why he believes William to be ‘furious’ with Harry, as he said: “Not only is there the pressure on William, but also the constant sniping from California.

“I’m sure he’s furious with Harry, he’s behaved appalling.

“Not only by the way he left England and exploited his royal connections but also his book – the things he said about the Waleses were so outrageous, rude, unfair and in my opinion, untrue. It’s a real struggle for the Waleses.”

Not only did Harry’s book Space claim that William ‘attacked’ Harry in a row over Meghan Markle, but it also claimed that William and Kate Middleton encouraged him to wear the infamous Nazi uniform.

Revelations aside, Tom claimed that Harry and Meghan may be feeling ‘secret glee’ at the situation.

After their recent trip to Nigeria, and the launch of Meghan’s new Instagram brand, American Riviera Orchard, Tom added: “One just always feels like there may be some sort of secret glee in Montecito.

“While they’re establishing this so-called brand Sussex, the family here is going through torment.

“After Charles’ diagnosis, Harry came over for half an hour and that’s it, he’s done nothing else.

“I can imagine that Kate and William are deeply upset by having the Sussexes’ brand operation rubbed in their face while they’re going through this tragedy.”

Despite Tom’s claims, it has been previously reported that Kate is “excited” after being well enough to be briefed on the findings of a taskforce she set up to help the under 5s.

The mother-of-three has read a 60-page report on her early years project and is said to have been “kept up-to-date” with the work.

 

Kate launched The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood in March last year.

In a speech at Natwest HQ she said it was time to think ‘radically’ in order to create a workforce that is ‘resilient, flexible and able to work through differences with each other’.

“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family but I have had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought my condition was non cancerous.

“The surgery was succesful.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.

“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and i am now in the early stages of that treatment.

“This of course came as a huge shock.

“William and I have been doing everything we can to process this privately for the sake of our young family.

“As you can imagine this has taken time.

“It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.

“But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them and to reassure them that I am going to be okay.

“As I have said to them; I am well and i’m getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind body and spirit.

“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too.

“As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you.

“It means so much to us both.

“We hope that you will understand that as a family we now need some time space and privacy while I complete my treatment.

“My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.

“At this time, I am also thinking of all those lives affected by cancer.

“For everyone facing this disease in whatever form please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

She added: “The healthy development of our children relies on healthy adults.”

The Princess of Wales is said to be keen to see “momentum grow in the coming months and years” as the project she created “is rolling on as she recovers.”

The first hints of friction reportedly came after William was introduced to Meghan when she was staying at Kensington Palace.

Once she’d returned home to Canada, William and Harry sat down for a brother-to-brother chat.

He knew Harry was already head-over-heels for her but it has been claimed he advised him to take it slowly.

The move further increased rumours of a fallout.

Harry, 39, also hinted in his ITV documentary “Harry and Meghan, An African Journey” that he and his brother had grown apart.

In 2021, Harry and Meghan give their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey where Harry accused his dad of cutting him off financially.

Harry then jetted back to UK to join William in unveiling a statue to their mother Princess Diana in the grounds of Kensington Palace. But sources claimed William didn’t want to attend the memorial amid their ongoing rift.

In 2022, just before their grandmother the Queen died, sources claimed Kate acts as a “peacemaker” between the brothers.

Harry claimed his brother “knocked him to the floor” during an argument about Meghan, in his memoir.

In Spare, Harry said William branded Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a row.

Harry alleged William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”.

He said he was left with a visible injury to his back following the argument in 2019 at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he was living at the time.

In January this year, Harry flew in to be with Charles after the monarch’s shock cancer diagnosis.

Harry flew back to the US the following day – without seeing Wills.

King Charles “won’t roll the red carpet out” for a reconciliation with Prince Harry, a royal commentator has said.

A friend of Prince William said King Charles’ priority is the unity of the monarchy.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, they said: “William wouldn’t dream of telling his father what he can or can’t do in relation to his other son.

“But what is true is that Charles’s absolute priority is the unity of the monarchy, and given the extent of William’s animosity to Harry, Charles can hardly roll out the red carpet and invite Harry and the kids to stay at Balmoral for the summer holidays—however much he would like to.”

Prince Harry visited his father in February after the King’s cancer diagnosis was made public.

However, the visit was brief as father and son reportedly spent less than 30 minutes together before the Duke of Sussex returned to the United States.

The strained relationship between Prince Harry and his father once again came under scrutiny last week when Harry visited London to attend a service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

There had been hopes of a meeting between the two, but the Duke’s team released a statement saying this wouldn’t be possible due to the King’s “packed programme”. 

However, royal sources indicated that Charles had not received a formal request from Harry to meet and had offered him accommodation in a royal residence, which Harry declined in favour of staying at a hotel.

But thw Duke’s team countered they did not believe Harry’s request to meet his father would have been missed.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020 and have since been living in Montecito, California with their two children.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have teased the release of a new film to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.

Posting a 14-second trailer to their social media pages, the pair said: “This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we’ve brought together the inspirational Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and the brilliant Farmer Will for a very special film.

“Spending a day together on Sam’s farm in Hereford they chatted about mental health in the farming community, finding support and the Duchy of Cornwall’s Mental Health Strategy. Watch the film on YouTube from 12.30pm BST today.”

William and Kate met Sam when they visited his farm last September and launched the Duchy’s Mental Health Strategy. The Duchy is working with Sam to expand his charity’s reach.

The royal couple do not feature in the film.

Kate and William have long championed mental health and often speak out it’s just as important as physical health.

In 2017 they launched the Heads Together campaign, which convened eight charity partners with one voice, encouraged more people in the UK to talk openly about mental health than ever before, and more people started accessing services as a result.

Royal fans were quick to heap praise on the couple for focusing on mental wellbeing in the farming community.

One person wrote: “Breaking barriers and reducing stigma [clapping emojis].”

Another said: “Rural and remote farming brings enormous mental health challenges. Always good to see awareness.”

A third wrote: “Breaking barriers and nurturing mental well-being in the heart of the farm!”

Meghan Markle reportedly didn’t shy away from addressing “concerns” within the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly found herself at the heart of royal tensions soon after she began her romance with Prince Harry, with royal author Robert Lacey alleging in his explosive book Battle of the Brothers that she ruled her staff by intimidation.

Lacey also claimed that Prince William harboured fears about Meghan “stealing his beloved brother away” and was deeply troubled upon hearing reports of her alleged conduct with staff.

Confronted with these issues of alleged bullying, Meghan is said to have issued a blunt response.

“It’s not my job to coddle people,” Meghan allegedly replied per Lacey’s account. Meghan’s inner circle has staunchly defended her, countering that such allegations were inconsistent with her true character.

One insider told Bazaar how the accusations had affected Meghan, adding: “I hate to say it, but find me a woman of colour in a senior position who has not been accused of being too angry, too scary… in the workplace.”

A spokesperson for Meghan Markle fiercely refuted the allegations at the time, stating: “Let’s just call this what it is – a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation. We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sussex.”

The statement continued: “It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining the Duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and the Duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”

Meghan and Harry stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, California. Since then, their relationship with the Royal Family has become increasingly strained, with numerous explosive claims made against various royals.

In their Netflix docuseries, Prince Harry detailed the deterioration of his relationship with his brother, Prince William. He claimed that William had left him terrified after an intense argument during the Sandringham summit.

He continued to criticise his family in his explosive memoir, Spare, released in early 2023.

Prince William made a visit to a hospital on the Isle of Scilly where he met with staff members and patients and it was clear that he went out of his way to put them first, says body language expert Judi James.

William took a break from his royal duties to be with his wife, Princess Kate, while she underwent preventative chemotherapy. The Waleses then travelled to Sandringham to enjoy Easter break as a family.

William is now back to work, carrying out royal engagements and handling investitures.

Just last week, he traveled to the Isle of Scilly to visit St Mary’s Community Hospital, which is working with Duchy of Cornwall on a new centre, reports BBC News.

Ms James provided an assessment of his body language, and noticed he holds his hands together while speaking to people and when he walks.

She said of the gesture: “As a projected signal though the clasp allows him to lower his own status signals and project a sense of humility rather than regality.”

She added: “He even bows his head as he meets one of the residents to make her feel more special than him.”

According to Ms James, his “most powerful non-verbal add-on signal” is his “loud and emphatic clapping,” which which shows his genuine keenness and enthusiasm.

Ms James sees this as “the start of a return to normal life,” that he is genuinely enjoying the visit and he’s keen to “get on with the job.”

More than a week after his win over Haney, Garcia reportedly tested positive for the drug Ostarine the day before his victory.

Garcia denies taking the performance-enchaining drug and insisted on being tested again for it.

Haney’s title was not on the line in the bout as Garcia missed weight, but he did end Haney’s undefeated streak to begin his career at 31 wins.

It is said the A-list area of California where Meghan and Harry live, Montecito, is known as the “American Riviera”, and is thought to be the inspiration behind the name.

According to a report from Page Six, Meghan’s company will focus on home, garden, food, and general lifestyle content.

What is Meghan Markle’s new business?

Meghan Markle has launched a new Instagram brand called American Riviera Orchard.

Industry insiders said the site will focus on home, food, garden and lifestyle goods.

A source told the Mail: “It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard.

“The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix.

“Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc.”

The first series will focus on Meghan and explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”, according to Deadline.

The second series will follow the couple’s love of professional polo.

Primarily shot at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, the project will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures.
