Alternative angle shows BRUTAL Oleksandr Usyk attack that saw Tyson Fury face referee count in ninth round of undisputed heavyweight fight

An alternative angle, shared by DAZN, has shown the brutal nature of Oleksandr Usyk’s knockdown of Tyson Fury.

Usyk hurt Fury in the ninth round of his historic victory on Saturday, which saw him become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of this century.

A little over three rounds into the fight, he came within touching distance of a stoppage when Fury was left rocked, with referee Mark Nelson stepping into give a count on the ‘Gypsy King’.

According to the Ukrainian’s manager, Usyk was robbed of a knockout win in the ninth round when Nelson stepped in to count Fury before he had fallen to the ground.

Alexander Krassyuk spoke in the aftermath of Usyk’s split decision win over the ‘Gypsy King’ and argued that Usyk would have finished his opponent if it had not been for the referee stepping in to call a knock down with Fury still upright.
