Wynne Evans set to ‘clear his name’ after Strictly scandal with fresh evidence

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans is believed to be thankful that fresh evidence has emerged which could clear his name after a sexual comment scandal

One video is believed to “change everything” for Wynne Evans. The Welsh opera star has been under-fire since a video emerged of him allegedly making a crude remark at Strictly Come Dancing icon, Janette Manrara.

Following the comment which was made during a photocall for the live tour of the programme last year, Wynne was subsequently axed from the show and also stepped out of the limelight and away from his BBC radio show. But now, sources claim that a full length version of the video has emerged an it could prove Wynne’s innocence.

During his time on the show, he was also accused of groping his dance partner, Katya Jones, who leapt to Wynne’s defence and insisted that nothing inappropriate happened. Now, a video of the alleged sexual remark is believed to have been examined by experts who have uncovered one vital part.

The video is said to have a “different context” to what people have been led to believe, with the comments actually being made at EastEnders’ Jamie Borthwick, who Wynne could be heard saying: “Old spitroast boy,” at.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Wynne’s team have had the clip sent off to a cyber forensics team which has come back with a word nobody had previously picked up on before; they believe it changes everything.

“In it, he can be heard saying ‘old spitroast boy’ to Jamie Borthwick. It may seem like semantics, but the ‘old’ and the ‘boy’ proves he was addressing Jamie and NOT making a crude sexual remark about Janette, as originally thought.” They added that it is an alleged reference to Jamie placing his legs behind his head – resembling a spit roast chicken.

Janette Manrara is also believed to have reached out to Wynne, insisting he needn’t worry about her. Earlier this week, Wynne became embroiled in another scandal with Jamie Borthwick involving a sex toy which was gifted to the actor as a joke. It was then brandished backstage during the Strictly live tour. The offensive footage is said to have been shared in the Strictly WhatsApp group among the celebrity contestants from the series.

The clip is thought to have been filmed just two days after Wynne was recorded making a vile sexual comment to Jamie about pro dancer Janette Manrara. Shortly after, Wynne was axed from the live tour. The GoCompare advert star recently vowed to fight his axing from Strictly. He insisted “truth wins” in a rare update since leaving the tour.

Reports claim he is reportedly planning to take action and seek “recompense” due to the dire consequences of his ongoing scandal. His situation reportedly got even worse last months amid reports he’s lost his lucrative advert deal with GoCompare that he has held since 2009.

He does have some supporters, however. Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones, who was paired with him on the 2024 series, described him as “incredible” in a new interview. The BBC is expected to make a decision on Wynne later at a later date this month.

The Mirror has approached Wynne’s representative. Strictly Come Dancing declined to comment.

Chloe Madeley’s daughter suffers gruesome tongue injury after ‘Dumb and Dumber’ mishap

Reality TV star Chloe Madeley was left in ‘panic mode’ when her two-year-old daughter Bodhi suffered an accident when she got her tongue stuck in an ice-cream fridge

Chloe Madeley has shared her daughter’s ‘dumb and dumber’ moment after she suffered a painful tongue injury. The reality TV star, 37, who welcomed her daughter Bodhi in August 2022 with James Haskell, took to her Instagram stories on Tuesday to explain how Bodhi lost ‘a bit of skin’ from her tongue.

Mum-of-one Chloe issued a warning to other mums and parents ahead of the summer months after her daughter got her tongue stuck in an ice-cream fridge.

Chloe told her followers that her toddler basically recreated the moment in the 1994 comedy classic Dumb and Dumber when Harry got his tongue stuck on a ski-lift pole after licking it. “Bodhi pulled a Dumb and Dumber and got her tongue stuck in/on an ice-cream fridge today.”

“She pulled away and ripped a very small amount of skin off, but oh my lord, the amount of blood was truly astonishing. Just writing this post as a hopeful reminder to all parents before ice-cream season hits.

“The mouth bleeds a LOT even when it’s a tiny surface wound. You need to apply pressure for up to ten minutes before assessing if the bleeding is slowing down/ whether you need to go to A&E.”

The star continued: “The reason I’m writing this is not because I know better but because I completely forgot ALL the above and instead just went into a sort of panic mode. Sorry to anyone at David Lloyd who witnessed this. I’d love to pretend this kind of thing rarely happens but that would be a lie and my child is insane.”

Chloe has been co-parenting Bodhi since her split with James, 40, in October 2023 after five years of marriage. The rugby union ace called time on his romance with the daughter of TV stars Richard and Judy shortly after they filmed ITV series Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair. James and Chloe.

Honest Chloe has spoken openly about the difficulty of their breakup, describing the last year of their marriage as “one of the worst periods of my life”. The star believed they were better off apart, but James recently expressed gratitude for the positive impact she had on him.

Both have moved on from their separation, with James being recently pictured with former Big Brother star Sara McLean at Cheltenham Festival.

Despite moving on with a new romance, James previously spoke about his appreciation for Chloe during an interview on the Spooning with Mark Wogan podcast.

At the time, he said: “Chloe is an amazing woman, extremely talented, she’s made me a much better person, being with her, now we’re separated. You separate essentially because you want to make sure your daughter has the best possible life.”

He continued to stress the importance of their daughter Bodhi’s well-being and their ability to work together as parents: “And I think when you have a child you have a responsibility and all of your other wishes go out of the window. The ability for us to co-parent and do stuff is so important, Chloe is more vocal because she wears her heart on her sleeve.”

Danny Dearden dead: X Factor star who got millions of Spotify streams dies, aged 34

Former X Factor star Danny Dearden – who got through to Mel B’s judge’s house and later carved a successful career as a musician – has tragically died, according to his manager

Former X Factor contestant Danny Dearden has died, his manager has said. The singer reached the Judges House stage in 2014, where he was mentored by Mel B before finding success away from the show.

Despite missing out on one of the three places in the final of the popular TV talent show, Danny went on to be a successful vocalist and songwriter. He was 34.

Manager Denise Beighton said: “Heartbroken to wake up to the news that you’re gone. I have no words right now, rest easy beautiful boy.” In a statement, his team said: “We are heartbroken to announce the sad loss of our dear friend and artist Danny Dearden, who passed away peacefully this morning after a long illness. Danny was one of the most talented, hardworking people we have worked with and has made a big mark on the industry amassing more than 30 Million Streams and collaborating with huge dance names such as Michael Calfan and Dario G. RIP Danny.”

In 2021, he signed a deal with Sentric Music after amassing more than 15million streams on Spotify. His collaboration with French producer Michael Calfan, Could Be With You – has topped nearly 14million Spotify streams. It was played on BBC Radio 1 Party Anthems with Scott Mills and also featured on ITV’s Love Island.

Danny was also an anti-bullying campaigner and visited schools to give talks about how to stay safe online. On the X Factor, Danny was in the same category as Jake Quickenden, Andrea Faustini, Jack Walton, Jordan Morris, and Paul Akister.

He travelled to Spice Girls star Mel B’s Judge’s House in Mexico where he gave his rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s Beautiful Disaster for the Spice Girl and former bandmate, Emma Bunton. But he was pipped at the post by fellow contestants Faustini, Quickenden and Akister.

Talking about working with Michael Calfan, Danny said in 2018: “It was amazing working with him.

“He is one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met, although it can be difficult at times because he has the strongest French accent I’ve ever heard, that mixed with my Northern/Lancashire/Manc accent we had to repeat ourselves a few times.”

Seeing people like Martin Garrix and Martin Solveig add it to their personal playlist is crazy.”

It’s not known how Danny died. Danny had previously posted on Instagram in December 2023 how the NHS had saved his life. He said: “This year has been a bit of a rocky one, at one point I was told I probably wouldn’t be here today…well I am.” He also spoke on social media last year saying he had not been in the “best of health recently.”

BBC star, 28, in life-threatening condition after fall left him with brain damage

BBC Natural History researcher Bruce Miller was on a climbing expedition last summer when his equipment broke, and loved ones say his ‘future remains uncertain’ with wait for NHS treatment

Bruce Miller was airlifted to hospital last summer after a climb in Somerset, but his fall left him with brain damage

A BBC star has had his life changed forever after suffering a terrifying fall while out in nature. Bruce Miller worked as a wildlife expert for the broadcaster, until a climbing accident saw him hospitalised with brain damage last summer.

Bruce, 28, was a researcher for the BBC’s Natural History Unit, and was out exploring at Avon Gorge in Somerset on July 13, 2024. Tragically his climbing equipment broke, leaving him to fall 30 feet from a cliff.

The TV researcher’s companions called paramedics and tried to help Bruce with first aid, but after the emergency services abseiled down to him he was quickly airlifted to hospital, where he was placed in an induced coma for 17 days and underwent emergency surgery.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Bruce by his panicked loved ones, amid concern that he might be waiting for help from the NHS for three months with his stay in a Brain Injury Unit coming to an end.

On the fundraising page, which has a target goal of £45,000 for Bruce’s vital care, his friends and family describe: “Bruce spent four weeks in ICU (17 days of which in a coma) and a total of 11 weeks at Southmead Hospital, enduring multiple surgeries — including the placement of a VP shunt to relieve pressure caused by hydrocephalus.

“It was a long and challenging road just to reach medical stability. His journey toward recovery has been fueled by unwavering determination, and on October 2nd, he was admitted to the Brain Injury Unit (BIRU) at Frenchay, where he began receiving the specialist rehabilitation care he needed.”

The fundraiser’s creator Scott Abraham explained that Bruce is currently in a wheelchair and “can even sit up on his own”, but adds: “While he has made progress, his mobility and communication remain very limited, and he relies on support for much of his daily life. The road to recovery is slow, and his future remains uncertain.”

In a harrowing turn for Bruce’s rehabilitation, Abraham revealed: “His stay at BIRU is coming to an end, and there’s likely to be at least a three-month gap before NHS-funded community rehabilitation becomes available. These therapies are a crucial part of his continued recovery, and a long break could risk slowing the progress he’s worked so hard to achieve.”

Bruce’s parents moved to Bristol to be with their son during his long hospital stay, and dad Richard revealed to the MailOnline: “We knew from the outset that it was going to be months or years before he gained some kind of independence again. There has not been a day where he has been on his own since that day, with visits from family and friends.”

Bruce’s pal Abraham has also described his friend who was wearing a helmet at the time of the fall – and described Bruce as “the most experienced climber” in their group.

Abraham added: “It feels very like he has had his life taken away from him by complete chance and it is incredibly heartbreaking because he was going to do some amazing things in his life and we were planning to do all these adventures together of various sorts. I just want him to have some level of independence back so he can live life outside and enjoy it.”

Fans of Celebrity Big Brother were confused during the eviction when they spotted Chesney Hawkes rocking a fancy outfit. Following a public vote, Trisha Goddard became the second celebrity to be evicted just days after former Conservative MP Sir Michael Fabricant was sent home. As the news was announced, she said: “Thank you.”

Speaking to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Trisha said she was “kinda sad” to have been evicted. She added: “A bit sad, I can’t lie.” Meanwhile, back in the house, The One and Only singer Chesney was all dressed up in a sparkling white waistcoat, black trousers and a sparkling belt. His hair was also gelled back with one part curled at the forehead.

The look confused some fans, who rushed to social media to question what they were seeing. One person asked on X/Twitter: “What the actual f**k is Chesney wearing, if he’s trying to battle gender norms then I think gender norms are winning.”

Another fan commented: “Why is no one talking about chesney’s insane outfit,” while one said: “The chesney stuff and his outfit had me in stitches today.”

A pop culture and TV news account answered the fans’ question about his outfit, taking to their page to explain: “If you’re wondering why Chesney looked dressed up during the eviction, it’s because Trisha finally used her prize and he became her butler for her final day in the house!”

It comes after Chesney revealed to his housemates that he was once whipped in a sex club. The One and Only star, 53, has kept somewhat of a low profile since entering the house last week.

However, in a recent challenge on the show, he was forced to open up – in an admission which left viewers stunned. When asked to reveal some ‘headline grabbing information’ about himself as the housemates played The Big Fame Board Game, Chesney took a deep breath before making the shocking reveal.

With a glint in his eye, he announced: “I was once in a sex club and I was whipped in front of the whole club and there are photos to prove it.”

Open-mouthed, Chris Hughes was quick to ask: “Who was whipping you?” before Chesney answered: “A very muscly butch guy in a thong – followed by my wife.” The singer was then asked: “Did you enjoy it?” “I loved it,” Chesney said as the rest of the housemates picked their jaws up off the floor.

In last night’s episodel, Trisha was the latest star to be evicted from the house. In a candid admission to the hosts, she said of her departure: “It meant a lot, it’s respite, it’s a holiday from having to think about cancer because with the Big Brother team and my team in the States, they’d cleared everything so I didn’t have to think of the next scan. Everything was cleared and I could be like a child again and yes, I did talk about cancer.

“I had to, why I’ve got my own bedroom and things like that. It is part of my life, as it is for 3.4 million Brits, so it was just a break from having to think about it. Heavy subjects came up now and again but it was just a break.”

Trisha has been evicted from Celebrity Big Brother following another tense couple of days after the housemates aired their views on the people they were living with

Celebrity Big Brother has evicted another famous face from the house. Following a tense public vote, Trisha Goddard became the second celebrity to be evicted just days after former Conservative MP Sir Michael Fabricant was sent home. As the news was announced, she said: “Thank you.”

Speaking to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Trisha said she was “kinda sad” to have been evicted. She added: “A bit sad, I can’t lie.” When asked whether she was shocked to discover who nominated her, Trisha said she wasn’t shocked but despite Ella Rae Wise claiming she had no interest in her – Trisha later confirmed that she had gotten to know her in recent days.

“It would have been Mickey, but with security pretty close,” she joked when asked about who she would name drop in the future. She went on to laugh that the few days she shared with the Hollywood legend were an “experience.” Trisha also admitted sharing her cancer journey on the show as crucial as it is “part of her life.”

The star had hoped to stay on the show for a little longer but having gone up against EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer and Coronation Street’s Jack P. Shephard, she realised it would be her time to go. On Monday, housemates and the viewing public discovered that Patsy Palmer, Trisha Goddard and Jack P. Shepherd faced being eliminated.

Patsy received six nominations from Angellica Bell, Chesney Hawkes, Chris, Danny Hughes, JoJo Siwa and Trisha. Meanwhile, Trisha was nominated by Chesney, Chris, Ella Rae Wise and Patsy. Jack was nominated by Angellica, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, JoJo and Trisha.

Trisha and Patsy nominated one another due to the divide between the pair, with Patsy living in Los Angeles, while Trisha lives on the east coast of America. But their reason left fans completely baffled as they took to social media to state that both Patsy and Trisha are actually from east London.

Meanwhile, it meant Jack faced eviction for the second time, having been nominated during the first week, alongside Mickey Rourke and Fabricant. But Tuesday’s nomination was a killer twist as just days after Fabricant was sent home, Hollywood icon Mickey was axed from the house due to his unacceptable behaviour. This meant that the show lost another contestant earlier than they had expected.

Trisha first fought the disease in 2008, but was sadly diagnosed in 2023 for a second time. Speaking to Angellica Bell in today’s episode, Trisha shared: “I kind of realised – I know the big ‘C’ comes up a lot – here’s a holiday from it. Do you get me? I can just have fun and things like that, and then when I get back out I’m sort of-”

Angellica interrupted: “Back to it? Back to reality, it’s sort of a bubble isn’t it?” Trisha agreed, saying: “It’s a bubble, as I say it’s been my respite – not that I expected it to be, I’m completely surprised by that. It’s been a respite from treatment and stuff.”

Just moments later, amid growing tensions in the house, Trisha jokingly shared that the “bubble” in the house was no match for real life. “I’ve survived worse,” she said.

JoJo Siwa made a brave admission in the Celebrity Big Brother diary room. The reality TV star was sat next to pal Chris Hughes when she candidly opened up about their secret messages.

The duo were punished by Big Brother for their actions and didn’t reveal what they were talking about to their housemates. Now, JoJo has bravely revealed their discussion. When quizzed about it in the Diary Room, she said: “It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel.”

She went on: “Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.

Big Brother thanked JoJo for her honesty, saying: “JoJo, thank you for being so honest and sharing with Big Brother.”

“Of course. It’s important to be honest and I think it’s important to show that it’s ok to not know,” JoJo added before Chris comforted her and said: “That was good. Good job.”

Celebrity Big Brother fans have slammed those who booed Trisha Goddard as she became the second housemate to leave the show last night. The 67 year old veteran broadcaster had joined the ITV reality competition with a mission to inspire her audience not to fear life, despite battling terminal stage four cancer.

After a nine-day stay, she exited the show. In the public vote, Trisha was up against fellow housemates Patsy Palmer and Jack P Shepherd. As she left the iconic house in London, Trisha was met with a chorus of boos from some of those in the crowd outside.

Viewers watching at home were sickened by the backlash. “Yes Trisha is opinionated and sometimes talks too much about herself but she’s certainly not worthy of being booed, especially when she has terminal cancer like the crowd can F off with that #CBBUK,” one penned on Twitter (X).

“Regardless of whether or not you find trisha likeable, booing a woman with stage 4 cancer is a genuinely terrible thing to do and this audience should be embarrassed #cbbuk,” another added as a third wrote: “Trisha saying she likes the distractions in the house and there are losers booing her- I don’t care how annoying she is, don’t be heartless #cbbuk.”

(Image: Sofi Adams/REX/Shutterstock for Big Brother)

Upon her exit, Trisha confessed feeling “a bit sad” but also reflected positively on her stint in the house. In conversation with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, she brushed off the reasons given by her fellow contestants for nominating her – especially singer Chesney Hawkes’ remark that conversing with her felt like being on her talk show.

“That’s actually a great compliment,” Trisha responded. She further added: “No, because we all said we were all scratching around in the dirt to find something negative to stay around each other.”

Earlier in the episode, Trisha had an emotional chat in the diary rook where she revealed how much she’d enjoyed the Big Brother experience for giving her a break from the gloom and pain of her ongoing cancer treatment. She likened her time on the show to a “holiday” from the constant worry of her condition, and said it felt incredible to act like “a child again”

She expressed: “It meant a lot – it was respite… I didn’t have to think of the next scan.” The former chat show icon opened up about her cancer, mentioning that discussing the disease was a brief respite from constant thoughts about it. Having been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer 20 months prior, Trisha is now under palliative care.

During her stay on the show, she was allocated a private room and always had her “bag full of meds” with her as part of her continuing care regime. Trisha’s stint on Celebrity Big Brother sparked its share of disputes.

In a recent episode, the show found itself at the centre of a race-related controversy following an incident involving Trisha and fellow participant Michael Fabricant. This occurred during a task where Michael gave his take on immigration, which led to Trisha confronting him after she sensed potential Islamophobic tones in his speech, which he fiercely denied.

“Hang on! Are you slipping into Islamophobia?,” Trisha challenged, triggering divided reactions from viewers – some backing her stance, others deeming her accusation “uncalled for”.

Elsewhere in the house, tensions flared due to Mickey Rourke’s forced exit on grounds of “offensive and inappropriate” behaviour. The veteran screen star, aged 72, faced a financial blow as his substantial £500,000 fee was reported to have been cut by 90% following his departure, amid discussions about the adjustment to his earnings.

LiveMickey Rourke RECAP: ITV Celebrity Big Brother pay cheque slashed as he’s axed

Mickey Rourke’s explosive exchange with Celebrity Big Brother co-star Chris Hughes – and his grovelling post-exit apology – have been revealed after the Hollywood star was removed from the ITV show’s house

Celebrity Big Brother’s Mickey Rourke has been kicked off the ITV show for “inappropriate language and unacceptable behaviour” less than week after he made his big debut. The star later confessed “I blame myself” as he took responsibility for his inappropriate behaviour.

The Hollywood star’s time in the Celebrity Big Brother house was marred by controversy before he even entered the show on Monday – from grabbing host AJ Odudu during his entrance to receiving a formal warning over homophobic language used towards JoJo Siwa.

Now, Mickey has been removed from the show for “further use of inappropriate language and unacceptable behaviour” following a disagreement with fellow housemate Chris Hughes.

Issuing an apology, he told Big Brother: “I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that. I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot. I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen.”

Earlier in the week, Micky received a formal warning from Big Brother after using a homophobic slur during a conversation with JoJo Siwa. After asking about her sexuality, Mickey told her: “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.” After JoJo replied by saying that she would still be gay and in a very happy relationship with her non-binary partner, Mickey told Chris Hughes that he’s going to “vote the lesbian out real quick”.

He then said: “I need a fag,” before gesturing to JoJo and saying: “I’m not talking to you.” After being called to the diary room, Mickey was told by Big Brother that he used “unacceptable language and behaviour” and that repeated use of it could lead to him being removed from the Big Brother house.

Now, Mickey is at risk of having his rumoured £500,000 fee slashed by ITV after being forced to leave the show early. A source told The Sun: “Mickey won’t be receiving all his money from ITV. If a celebrity gets removed from the house, they don’t get the full fee.

“It’s as simple as that and they will be discussing that with him. Mickey was ready to leave the house and it ended up feeling like a mutual decision between him and ITV in the end. It was getting too much.”

    Mickey’s pay cheque slashed

Although Mickey Rourke had signed a contract for £500,000, reports claim his pay will be slashed.

According to The Sun, this could now dunk down to just a fraction of the amount he went out for – with Mickey potentially only receiving £50,000 due to his contract being pro-rata despite entering the house for the money.

“Mickey didn’t do Celebrity Big Brother for the experience and was counting on that money,” a source told the outlet. The source added: “He’s lost a huge amount by leaving the show early. It was worked out on a pro rata basis. Conversations are ongoing so the fee may change but a contract is a contract.”

Mickey left housemates ‘scared’ says host

Celeb Big Brother host Will Best has claimed that the housemates were left “nervous and scared” by Mickey’s behaviour.

During an appearance on This Morning, Will said: “I can’t repeat exactly what Mickey said, but it was bad, and it made not just Chris [Hughes] – Chris handled it very well – but it made the rest of the house feel vulnerable, a bit scared.”

Reflecting on Mickey’s comment towards Ella Rae Wise, Will said it was “totally inappropriate”, before saying it “made her feel understandably vulnerable, and that is the point where you’ve got to go.”

Michael Fabricant’s plea to Celeb Big Brother bosses

Sir Michael Fabricant has only been out of the Celebrity Big Brother house for three days and admits he wants to return.

The former Tory MP became the first person to be evicted on Friday night but following Mickey Rourke’s axing, he’s issued a plea to bosses. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: “Missing Danny, Jack, Donna, JoJo and nearly all of the others,” alongside a crying emoji.

He added: “I WANT TO GO BACK IN!! #CBBUK.”

Mickey Rourke grabs his crotch as he flees the UK

After being kicked out of the iconic house on Sunday, Mickey Rourke was seen in public for the first time – and it appears that he may not have learned his lesson just yet.

The controversial star was seen grabbing his crotch in the street on Monday morning in a crude gesture to a passerby. Suggesting that perhaps his apology was not sincere, Mickey was photographed grabbing his crotch while standing in the street after arriving to London before making his way to the airport to head back to the US.

Mickey looked slightly disheveled as he was seen in his signature baggy blue jeans and a worn-in grey zip-up. The star finished off the look with a pair of cowboy boots.

Despite inappropriately grabbing his crotch, Mickey appeared in high spirits after being kicked out of the Celebrity Big Brother house as he was seen smiling and waving at fans in the street before hopping into a vehicle.

    Mickey Rourke’s disgusting habit revealed

Mickey Rourke’s Celebrity Big Brother co-star has revealed he snuck in an item into the house without show bosses knowing – along with his gross habit.

He had shocked with his unusual habits, as he was slammed for brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink. Yet housemate Michael Fabricant has revealed another shocking habit of Mickey’s as well as his smuggled item.

Speaking on This Morning he said: “My job was to replace the batteries on the radio mics every morning, every evening.

“Mickey would sleep with all his clothes on, would sleep on the couch, he didn’t want to get into a bed. I would pull out his radio mic because he was still half asleep and it was covered in chocolate. Melted chocolate. He was on another planet for the whole TV show.”

Host Will Best, who was also on the This Morning sofa, appeared shocked as he probed: “He had chocolate in his back pocket?”

Michael replied: “Along with the radio mic. I would try to prize it open and get the battery. I don’t know where he got the chocolate from. Maybe he smuggled it in?”

Ella Rae Wise drops nomination bombshell

Ella Rae Wise is set to deliver a particularly brutal nomination that will take fans by surprise on tonight’s episode ahead of Tuesday night’s eviction.

In tonight’s episode, Ella Rae Wise tells Big Brother: “My first nomination is Chris. Just because I don’t know 100 percent if he’s being his genuine self and I wouldn’t know that because the only time we speak is if we ask each other if we’re ok and is there anything that we want.

“We haven’t had any other conversation other than that. I feel like he’s keeping himself to one person only and that’s obviously JoJo. He hasn’t allowed himself to make connections with anyone else other than her. I feel like he’s playing a massive game.”

Ella’s decision is set to shock viewers, who suspected that there may have been a romance brewing between them.

Chris Hughes gets very unique punishment

The drama is set to continue on tonight’s instalment of Celebrity Big Brother as Chris Hughes gets his punishment for breaking the rules.

“RULE BREAK ALERT,” the official Twitter (X) account for Celebrity Big Brother wrote on the platform this morning. “At 3:14pm in the garden, Chris said, ‘I guess I know who Trisha and Patsy are going to vote for…

“They’ll probably vote for each other, that’s fair after yesterday.’ As a punishment, he will be put in the wheelie bin of shame and have to write an apology rap. #CBBUK #BBLL.”

Chris being forced to write an apology rap is seemingly a nod to his infamous offer to freestyle during his time in the Love Island villa back in 2017.

In the upcoming episode, the housemates gather in the living room, where Big Brother tells them they failed the shopping task because some were not wearing their full pirate outfits.

Chris’ name was in the frame for failing to wear the proper pirate look, with Ella jumping in to share her opinion. He was also called out for breaking house rules by chatting about nominations with Donna Preston.

Ella frowned at the news as she quipped: “So the first shopping task we failed.” She turned to Chris and said: “It is what it is. [He’s saying] I did this I did that. Get over it.”

Mickey Rourke breaks silence on Bella Thorne’s allegations

Mickey Rourke has broken his silence on former co-star Bella Thorne’s accusations that he “bruised her genitals” while filming 2020 movie Girl.

Last week, Bella took to Instagram to say that working with Mickey on the film was “one of the all time worst experiences of my life”, adding: “He’s supposed to take a metal grinder to my knee cap and instead he used it on my genitals thru my jeans. Hitting them over and over again. I had bruises on my pelvic bone.”

The actor has now broken his silence, with a representative telling Variety: “These allegations are extremely serious. Mr. Rourke adamantly denies any intentional misconduct.

“He was not made aware of any such concerns during filming and had no prior knowledge of Ms. Thorne’s discomfort until now. Out of respect for all parties and given the gravity of the claims, Mr. Rourke will not be making further public comment at this time. He remains willing to cooperate with any appropriate inquiry through the proper channels. We affirm the right of every performer to feel safe and respected in their work environment.”

‘CBB bosses knew what they were doing booking Mickey Rourke’

Celebrity Big Brother bosses “knew what was going to happen” signing Mickey Rourke up for the ITV series, it has been claimed.

According to one insider, the Hollywood actor’s behaviour and early exit shouldn’t come as a surprise to Celebrity Big Brother bosses. “Big Brother knew what was going to happen when they booked bad boy Mickey Rourke. They wanted a lion but expected him to act like a lamb,” the source says.

Speaking to The Sun, they add: “They knew what they were doing putting him in alongside young people when he’s 72 and from a totally different generation. He never intended to offend anyone and had every intention of staying in there.” The Mirror has approached ITV for comment.

Eliminated Celebrity Big Brother star Mickey Rourke has been married twice – and second wife Carré Otis, who he was married to from 1992 until 1998, recounted the alarming proposal he made to her years ago. Opening up in her 2011 memoir, the model revealed that Mickey sent a car for her in 1992 to drive her from LA to Big Sur so he could propose.

She wrote: “I wasn’t really surprised to get a call. I gave in. Just like that. My longing, my loneliness, everything that remained unresolved, had me buying into the hope that we could still set ourselves on the right course.

“Before I knew what he was doing, he got down on one knee. ‘Marry me, Carré,’ he said. ‘Jesus, Mickey. Wait. I haven’t seen you in months!’ I was starting to feel panicked. ‘I need time, some time to think about this.’

“’No. You answer me now,’ he said firmly. Standing up, he went to the back of the car and opened the trunk. ‘I can’t live without you,’ he said again, pulling out a long sword wrapped in beautiful Japanese cloth. ‘What’s that?’ I asked.

“’It’s a hari-kari knife,’ he replied, unwrapping it. The long metal sword caught the afternoon light. Mickey stared into my eyes. ‘Answer me or I will die.’”

She continued: “Was he serious? I wasn’t sure. I was terrified. I waited a beat. I recognised his standard my-way-or-the-highway ultimatum in all this, but it was tinged with a threat of a different kind this time. I heard myself say, ‘Yes, Mickey. I will marry you.’”

Kate Garraway calls herself by first husband’s name after revealing emotional Derek story

Kate Garraway was left red faced during this morning’s Lorraine as she accidentally called herself by her first husband’s name live on air

Kate Garraway suffered an on air blunder as she stepped in for Lorraine on Tuesday morning. During a segment on the show, the Good Morning Britain star was discussing women not taking their husband’s last name.

During the chat, Kate revealed how her late husband Derek Draper cried when she said she would take his last name. However, in an awkward blunder, Kate was heard referring to herself as Kate Rumsey before realising and apologising. .

Describing the moment, Kate revealed how she was asked while doing her wedding list with Derek if she should be put down as “Garraway or Rumsey?”

“Definitely Kate Rumsey,” Kate continued while recalling the story, before announcing Derek burst into tears. However, she then revealed she never actually did change her name after confusion on a flight.

Halfway through telling her story, Kate realised her error as she exclaimed: “Rumsey?! My god, that’s my first husband, I’m in chaos this morning!” She then corrected herself with “Draper,” before apologising again at the end of the segment.

Kate was married to Ian Rumsey for four years between 1998 to 2002. The pair met when she worked at Meridian TV with Ian being her boss. However, the couple’s relationship came to an end. It was claimed that Kate kicked Ian out after an affair, although he has always denied the allegations.

Addressing their split at the time, Kate said: “It’s always terribly sad when a marriage comes to an end. I’m disappointed that what’s a very private matter has been brought into the public domain. I was dismayed by reports in the papers because they are substantially inaccurate.” It wasn’t the last the couple saw of each other however, as Ian became the boss of GMB in 2010.

Two years after splitting up with Ian, Kate met Derek through a mutual friend. They tied the knot one year later, and welcomed two children, daughter Darcey and son Billy. Unfortunately in March 2020, Derek was put into a medically induced coma and ventilator after contracting coronavirus.

At the start of 2024, the TV host sadly revealed her husband had died in December 2023 following a major heart attack.

It’s not the first blunder Kate suffered on Tuesday morning’s show. She was left red faced during the Good Morning Britain two-way as she had spilt her cup of tea all over the table. As she was due to talk about what was coming up on the show, the star apologised to Lorraine for “ruining her studio” as she was seen cleaning up the tea.
