Exclusive: Tempting Fortune’s Imani Evans breaks silence after ‘horrific’ clash over sneaky prize spend

The new series of Tempting Fortune kicked off on Channel 4 with an explosive argument as Vicki and Sam rowed with Imani over her attitude to spending the prize pot

Tempting Fortune star Imani Evans has spoken out after the explosive argument that kicked off the Channel 4 competition’s latest series.

Tonight’s episode of Tempting Fortune saw Imani clash with fellow contestants Vicki and Sam over her comments on how she would happily spend money on temptations. After the tense row, Imani chose to give into the very first temptation on the first night – a sleep in a comfortable bed costing £1,200.

Speaking to The Mirror in an exclusive chat, Imani opened up about her divisive approach to the competition. “It was quite horrific for me, to be honest,” she said.

On becoming unpopular so early in the competition, Imani said: “I knew that was gonna be the case because I think when you have a lot of confidence and, and you’re able to stand alone, automatically people get their back up, especially if they don’t possess those qualities.

“So I knew that I wasn’t going to be the most popular with the decisions that I was making but I didn’t care. I didn’t go on there for popularity. I went on there for an incredible experience, and I’m the type of person where if someone ruffles my feathers, I’m going to ruffle back 10 times harder.”

Imani added that there’s even more drama to come from the series. “That’s literally the tip of the iceberg. It’s way more dramatic than that,” she said. “And me personally, I didn’t think that it could get worse because it was such a dramatic entrance. I’ve only been in the jungle for 5 minutes, and it was already fireworks.

“So I didn’t think it could get worse, but I’m not kidding when I tell you it gets 10 times worse and yes, I am involved with most of that.”

As for why she was happy to spend so much of the £300,000 prize pot, Imani said that she wanted to have the best experience possible on the show.

“I said that I went in there to have an amazing experience, but also to challenge myself, and that’s exactly what I did. I was always gonna take some temptations, but I was also gonna turn down some temptations,” she said.

“So I feel like I was very true to myself and people will see that. Exactly what I said I was gonna do is exactly what I did throughout and then obviously, in the beginning, I was taking the temptations because I just thought, if you guys are gonna be mean to me, then I’m literally going to make you pay for it in a very literal sense.”

She added: “I have no regrets about that. I wish I’d actually spent more, to be honest.”

Imani also opened up about her reality TV past, revealing that she took part in dating show Meet the Parents nearly ten years ago, hosted by Holly Willoughby. “I was on a dating show which was very interesting with Holly Willoughby,” she said. “It was called Meet the Parents. It was kind of like Blind Date but with your parents talking to the guy. It was absolutely hilarious, amazing. I didn’t end up getting the date with the guy, which I was fuming about because I just like to win. I didn’t really like him but I thought it would be fun to win the date.”

  • ITV Loose Women cut to break as Ruth Langsford mentions Eamonn Holmes split

ITV Loose Women cut to break as Ruth Langsford mentions Eamonn Holmes split

Loose Women star Ruth Langsford announced the end of her marriage to her former This Morning co-host Eamonn Holmes in May and the topic of divorce was suddenly brought up during the latest episode of the ITV show

Loose Women made an abrupt cut to an ad break after Ruth Langsford appeared to make a subtle dig at ex Eamonn Holmes.

The TV presenter, 64, announced the end of her marriage to her former This Morning co-host Eamonn, 64, in May. The pair had been together for more than two decades and are parents to son Jack Holmes, 22, together.

During Tuesday’s (December 10) episode of the ITV hit chat show Ruth made a return to our TV screens alongside fellow co-stars Coleen Nolan, Kelly Holmes and Mariella Frostrup as they discussed a number of trending topics.

However it was one segment that caught Ruth’s attention as they had a debate on if they would ever make their adult children choose between their parents and their potential partner.

Mariella started off by saying: “I just think it’s madness. You know for a fact no matter what position you take in your child’s life if you intrunch yourself too deeply they are going to do the opposite thing anyway.”

She continued: “How on earth would the inclusion of someone in family life be worth the jeopardy of not talking to your child anymore, I just can’t imagine it.”

Coleen also shared her opinion as she explained: “I think it is important for parents to let their children find out for themselves and it might work out and they spend the rest of their lives together but it might be that they end up heartbroken and that’s when as a parent you step in.”

Talk soon turned to how divorced parents handle those type of situation and Ruth went on to admit: “I think it’s very selfish when you hear parents say well if they are divorced then I’m not coming to your wedding if he’s coming or if she is there and I just think it’s so selfish isn’t it because it is their day.”

Mariella jumped in and said: “That’s a whole other subject isn’t it? How to divorce well.”

Ruth made a cheeky quip at her recent split from Eamonn as she replied: “Oh tell me about it.” The remark took everyone by surprise as the show cut to a break, Ruth announced: “Anyway funnily it’s now time for a break”

Ruth Langsford’s brutal five-word assessment of her divorce from Eamonn Holmes

Loose Women star Ruth Langsford made a cheeky comment about her divorce from Eamonn Holmes on the ITV show this morning

Ruth Langsford, 64, seemed to take a cheeky swipe at the status of her divorce while speaking on Loose Women on Tuesday morning.

The This Morning alum and her ex Eamonn Holmes, 65, announced their shock split in May, and Eamonn has quickly moved on with new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42. The couple shares a son, and after 14 years of marriage Ruth seemed to hint that their divorce wasn’t going completely smoothly.

The conversation started with the ITV panel debating whether they’d ever ditch their children over the child picking an unsuitable partner. “I just think it’s madness. You know for a fact no matter what position you take in your child’s life if you intrench yourself too deeply they are going to do the opposite thing anyway,” Mariella Frostrup stated. “How on earth would the inclusion of someone in family life be worth the jeopardy of not talking to your child anymore, I just can’t imagine it.”

Coleen Nolan agreed: “I think it is important for parents to let their children find out for themselves and it might work out and they spend the rest of their lives together but it might be that they end up heartbroken and that’s when as a parent you step in.”

Ruth then turned the direction towards parents who let themselves down by feuding with each other instead of putting their children first. She shared: “I think it’s very selfish when you hear parents who say, you know, if they’re divorced, something like ‘Well I’m not coming to your wedding if he’s coming, or if she’s there.’ I just think it’s so selfish, isn’t it?”

“That’s a whole other subject, isn’t it? How to divorce well-” Mariella began. She was then interrupted by Ruth.

“Oh, tell me about it!” Ruth exclaimed, seemingly hinting that “divorcing well” was a topic she’d like to know more about. The panel and audience all fell into stitches, before Ruth conveniently brought in an ad break.

While Ruth has kept fairly silent about the ins and outs of her split from Eamonn, reports on how Eamonn’s health woes impacted the couple’s relationship came flooding in after the split was announced. Speaking about the star’s ill health at the time, a friend of the couple is said to have told MailOnline: “Ruth has become more his carer than a wife. Eamonn has been thoroughly miserable.

They claimed Eamonn has become “more and more grumpy” and, in the end, it started to get Ruth “down more than she could accept”. The publication also alleged that Eamonn joked to friends about being ‘touched’ more by his physio than Ruth in recent years, with Ruth allegedly upset by the comment.

In a similarly raunchy statement from Eamonn, after his hip replacement he blamed Ruth for his health woes and joked how his sex life was the ’cause’ of the problem. He told the Mirror: “I’m facing a two-week double hip operation, she wore them out, she’s got to help wear them in,” adding, “The doctor says no hanky panky and no strong exercise.”

Danny Jones’ wife says ‘I’m no pushover and I haven’t forgiven him’ after his sorry statement

Danny Jones apologised to his wife and family on Friday weeks after he was seen kissing Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty

Danny Jones’ wife refuses to be seen as a ‘pushover’ and insists her husband is not off the hook yet following his kiss with Maura Higgins.

The McFly star has been seen wearing his wedding ring and issued a statement saying he wanted to ‘deeply apologise’ for what he’d put his wife through after he was seen kissing Maura at a BRIT Awards afterparty.

The Mirror reported that while the pair are still living together, Danny is not out of the dog house yet.

A source close to Georgia has now said she’s ‘incredibly emb

arrassed’ by everything Danny has put her through. The boyband star spoke out on Friday to claim he was ‘working through things’ with Georgia, but it appears she’s not ready to forgive and forget just yet.

“Georgia does not want people to think she’s a pushover and that all is forgiven already. She was concerned that the photos of her and Danny together gave the impression that everything is fine, when it’s very much not the case,” a source told The Sun.

Danny has been married to Georgia Horsley, a former Miss England, since 2014, and they have a son, Cooper, together.

In an Instagram story on Friday, Danny wrote: “Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.

“I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”

It is the first time he has said anything publicly about the kiss. It comes after a source told The Mirror: “He has been mortified about what’s happened and the awful situation he has put everyone in. He cares so deeply about his family and hopes his words will draw a line under what has been a deeply upsetting time for everyone. Georgia and his son are absolutely everything to him.

“He wants to move on and heal in private.” The source added: “Fair play to Danny for owning this and addressing things head-on. He and Georgia are living together and trying to work things through but he is not out of the woods. He will be in the doghouse for a while yet.”

While Danny makes amends with Georgia, he is said to be leaning on one of his McFly bandmates for support.

The singer is said to be spending time with Dougie Poynter who he has become ‘inseparable’ with since the scandal broke. ” Dougie has been a metaphorical shoulder to cry and helping Danny to work through the fallout of the past few weeks, it’s been really tough,” a source told The Sun.

“Dougie has known Danny for decades and knows how to keep his spirits up in low moments. Cycling together and getting outside has been good for them and helping to keep busy.”

Danny and Maura, 34, were filmed sharing a drunken kiss at 3am at a Brit Awards afterparty in London. Sources claim the pair then went to another venue – the swanky Nobu Hotel in Central London – and partied until at least 6am.

Insiders said this week that Danny and Georgia have been working through the crisis and on Tuesday the couple were seen together as they stepped out in Richmond, South West London. Last week, an insider said the kiss with Maura was a “slap in the face” for Georgia.

  • Inside Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s turbulent marriage as they split after 8 years

Inside Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s turbulent marriage as they split after 8 years

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s relationship has been the subject of rumours once again and sources have now claimed that the couple have split after eight years of marriage

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s relationship has faced many ups and downs over the years. The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, have been at the centre of speculation, rumours, and public scrutiny. Despite their efforts to work through their issues, the couple are said to have split after eight years of marriage.

A joint statement from the couple read: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye. They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents — something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”

Earlier this year, Jacqueline, 32, was seen without her wedding ring, leading to concerns that her relationship with Dan, 33, was in trouble. The EastEnders actress and the former TOWIE star arrived separately at their local gym, with Jacqueline looking downcast. Her missing wedding ring only fuelled speculation that the couple had parted ways.

The rumours gained more traction when it was revealed that the pair had put their family home on the market. Dan reportedly purchased a property in his own name, which led fans to believe they had quietly separated. However, a source close to the couple previously denied the claims, stating that selling the house did not mean they had split.

Now, reports from The Sun claim that Dan has officially walked out of the family home, adding to the growing belief that their marriage is over. A source told the outlet: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.” They added that neither Jac nor Dan know what will happen in the future but their break was “needed.”

The news has left fans wondering whether this is the final chapter in their turbulent relationship. Jacqueline appeared to brush off the speculation, taking to social media to share her daily routine and fitness journey. She casually discussed her weight loss and gym habits, seemingly unfazed by the headlines about her marriage.

In contrast to the split rumours, Jacqueline posted an appreciation message for Dan in July 2024. She shared a series of affectionate photos and a heartfelt caption celebrating their relationship. Marking their 10 years together and eight years of marriage, she described Dan as her “bestest friend” and acknowledged the lack of recent pictures of them together, vowing to take more. However, despite this public display of affection, reports now confirm that their marriage has come to an end.

Their relationship has been tested many times, particularly by allegations of infidelity. In 2019, Dan publicly apologised for mistakes that nearly cost him his family. He admitted to making errors in their relationship and expressed his commitment to making things right. That same year, Jacqueline temporarily moved out of their home, revealing that therapy had been crucial for her. She explained that she needed space to process everything and improve communication with Dan.

The couple’s rocky history dates back to 2015, when Dan was accused of engaging in inappropriate behaviour with a well-known model. More accusations surfaced in later years, with claims of infidelity involving former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen. The rumours created tension in their marriage, but Jacqueline had maintained that she worked through the issues.

During her time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2019, Jacqueline’s emotional journey captured the attention of fans. She opened up about feeling like a “doormat” and spoke about wanting to prove herself outside of her role in EastEnders. Her vulnerability won over the public, and she was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Despite their best efforts to move forward, it seems that Jacqueline and Dan could not overcome their past challenges. Their split follows years of speculation and attempts to rebuild their marriage. In recent months, Jacqueline had been seen with and without her wedding ring, keeping fans guessing about the state of their relationship. When she shared a family photo without Dan earlier in 2024, rumours reignited. She later posted an image of Dan spending time with their children at a theatre show, seemingly downplaying the speculation.

Now, with reports confirming their separation and Dan reportedly leaving the family home, it appears their journey together has come to an end. While their marriage has been turbulent, Jacqueline and Dan will likely continue to co-parent their daughters as they move forward in separate directions.

This Morning’s Vanessa Feltz quits after 33 years as she launches rival show

Vanessa Feltz has been a regular on This Morning for 33 years, where she has appeared as a news commentator and agony aunt. The presenter will now launch a rival daytime show on Channel 5

Vanessa Feltz has quit This Morning after 33 years.

The 63-year-old broadcaster has been a regular contributor to the ITV morning show but will be stepping away to focus on her brand new Channel 5 series Vanessa, which will launch on 24 March at 12.45pm. The show is set to ‘rival’ ITV’s flagship morning show, currently presented by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

Vanessa told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’ve been on ‘This Morning’ since 1992. It’s been a long time . But I’m now doing my own show and I can’t do both.”

As she made her announcement, Vanessa praised the presenters and crew on This Morning for being “so lovely” about her decision.

She added: “When I told everyone I wouldn’t be able to do the show anymore, they were lovely about it. I heard from Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby immediately and the bosses were charming. I’ll miss working with them all.”

The veteran broadcaster says she has learned a lot from her time on the show.

She said: “I have learned lots of stuff on This Morning. When I first did it, I had never been on TV before. I didn’t know what was going on. I was bamboozled but they gave me a contract.” And Vanessa “couldn’t be more excited” about her new talk show. She gushed: “This is a fantastic opportunity and I couldn’t be more excited. It feels marvellous.”

Vanessa will be produced by ITN productions, the producers behind the Jeremy Vine Show, and promises ‘heart-warming, hard-hitting, straight-talking’ discussion and interviewers.

Vanessa follows Holly Willoughby out the door on This Morning, with the former host quitting in May 2023. Holly left following a string of scandals for the show and said at the time she’d made the decision for ‘me and my family.’ Six months prior, long-serving host Phillip Schofield left following a media storm when he admitted to an ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a younger colleague.

Vanessa – who became a household name with her eponymous ITV daytime show, which ran from 1994 until 1998 before moving to the BBC for a short-lived show for several months the following year – announced her new show earlier this month.

She said in a statement: “I cannot wait to get started on this sparkling adventure with Channel 5. This show is all about YOU – your stories, your opinions, your emotions, and your triumphs. Television’s never been so real, honest, or unpredictable.

“Life isn’t perfect, so let’s not pretend it is – let’s help each other out, have a giggle, and make every show a conversation worth having so kick off your shoes and come and join me for lunch, relax with a bit of me time and let’s have a ball!”

The programme will cover a wide range of topics including celebrities, gossip, fashion, relationships and parenting.

Meanwhile, commissioning editor of Channel 5, Federico Ruiz added: “We are thrilled to have signed Vanessa, an award-winning broadcaster and bona-fide national treasure, to our daytime line-up. Our audience love her, and there is nobody better for viewers to spend their lunchtimes with every single weekday.”

ITN’s managing director of content, Ian Rumsey commented: “Vanessa defined the genre with her first talk show and this new slot on Channel 5 is a brilliant and unique opportunity to work with one of the pioneers of talk shows, and take all that talent, energy and experience to create a fresh twist to daytime chat.”

    Image:
Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)Vanessa’s new role comes after This Morning viewers branded her brave for undergoing a mammogram live on the ITV show. Last month, Vanessa highlighted the importance of the test which is used to detect breast cancer in a live segment. “Fair play to Vanessa for doing this, it’s a little uncomfortable (literally for a few seconds) but not painful, and can save your life!” wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter, while another commented: “Well done to Vanessa!!! Love that woman!”

While in November, Vanessa announced she was taking over Carol Vorderman’s Sunday slot on LBC on a permanent basis.

Former Countdown star Vorderman said she would not continue with her radio show last month after suffering “burnout” from seven-day working weeks. In a video to Instagram, Vorderman said she had a “tight feeling in my chest and I was utterly exhausted”, but “after many scans and checks, we know that I don’t have any underlying health issues whatsoever”.

Feltz, 62, joined LBC in May and presents a Saturday afternoon show where she offers opinion, analysis and a deep dive on what matters to the British public.

  • BBC EastEnders fans gobsmacked over Kathy Beale’s age and dramatic comparison

BBC EastEnders fans gobsmacked over Kathy Beale’s age and dramatic comparison

EastEnders fans have worked out Kathy Beale’s ‘real age’ and discovered that she’s the same age as one of the soaps icons who appeared four decades ago

EastEnders fans have been left blown away by Kathy Beale’s real age. In recent days, viewers of the hit BBC show have seen a love triangle unfold between Kathy, Harvey Monroe and his partner, Jean Slater. In the past, Kathy and cab driver Harvey shared a kiss but tension has been brewing recently, with the pair deciding to embark on an affair behind Jean’s back.

Harvey has made it no secret that he feels pushed out by Jean, who is currently helping to plan the funeral of Martin Fowler, who died during the live episode to celebrate the 40th anniversary. But while Kathy’s steamy affair is set to take centre stage, some fans have been left stunned after discovering that the Beale matriarch is in fact, the same age as her on-screen mother-in-law, Lou Beale.

Social media sleuths have dug up a picture of Lou, played by the late Anna Wing and placed it side by side alongside Kathy, who is played by Gillian Taylforth. Lou was described by the BBC as a “stereotypical dominant East End matriarch.” But the picture seems to be much older than Kathy, who is said to be around 75-years-old.

During a 2020 episode, it was revealed that Kathy, the mum of Ian Beale, was 70. But fans couldn’t believe that the characters were the same age in both snaps, while looking very different. “Isn’t it funny how people looked older back then? I think the hairstyles had a lot to do with it,” said one.

A second commented: “Seems unfair to compare anyone to Gillian Taylforth. She clearly defies any and all conceptions of the ageing process.” Meanwhile a third fan went on to say: “I feel like not only have expectations of beauty changed, women don’t ‘have to’ age anymore and the fashion is just younger. I think it’s been a fairly quick change, even women in their 50s were depicted quite old back then (think Dot was late 40s?)”

However, one fan went on to comment that Gillian has spoken openly about having cosmetic enhancements over the years. The viewer said: “She’s open about having cosmetic work done. Gillian’s work is very well done, very naturally so people don’t realise.” But, there is scientific research behind people looking younger nowadays.

McGill at the University of Canada credits this to a variety of things including the environment, better health treatments and fashion choices. Lou first appeared on the soap on February 19, 1985. Tragically, she was killed off on July 26, 1988 having appeared in 232 episodes of the hit soap opera.

Meanwhile, Kathy who at the time was known as Kathy Cotton also appeared in the very first episode and married into the Beale family, tying the knot with Peter Beale. However, Gillian was dismissed from the role of Kathy due to her young age but bosses later reconsidered their decision.

Over the years, Kathy has faced a string of strong storylines, including her exit in 1997 when she moved to South Africa with her youngest child, Ben Mitchell. But in 2006, Kathy was believed to have been killed off during a road collision. Nine years later, she returned to the show – despite her character supposedly being dead as part of the programmes 30th anniversary.

Kathy’s return was confirmed on August 17, 2015, and was inspired by the John Darwin disappearance case. Since then, the businesswoman has found herself unlucky in love, with her latest husband, Rocky Cotton, landing himself behind bars after setting fire to Kathy’s café.

The end of an era arrived for BBC viewers as the network’s Click aired their final show with host Spencer Kelly becoming visually emotional during the broadcast

A BBC broadcaster reflected on past moments as he signed off from his morning programme, admitting it had been the “time of my life.” Click, the BBC’s technology programme, had been delivering the latest gadget news to viewers for almost 25 years since it first arrived on screens in 2000.

Click’s regular weekend spot on BBC One was discontinued due to major budget reductions of £24 million. The cost-cutting spree also scrapped HARDtalk, the long-running interview programme that lasted 28 years, and removed the Asian Network’s dedicated news bulletins. Click was founded by former BBC presenter Stephen Cole.

Each episode runs for about 30 minutes, and since its launch on 6 April 2000, a fresh episode has been broadcast weekly, celebrating its 1,000th episode on 6 July 2019. In October 2024, the channel declared it would end the program after 25 years, alongside its interview series HARDtalk.

This Saturday morning marked Click’s final episode, with its longtime host Spencer Kelly getting visibly emotional with the audience one last time. Spencer kicked off talking about the digital revolution brought about by AI, musing: “Every so often, we reach a tipping point in certain technology where many, many new things suddenly become possible and it does feel like we are reaching one of those milestones.

“Now AI is starting to change the world and the next generation will both be using it as a tool and facing the consequences of it getting better and better at the tasks we once thought were uniquely human. I wonder how different their world will be to that of the early 21st Century when I first welcomed you all to Click, 1,000 programmes ago.”

Presenter Spencer took viewers down memory lane by flashing back to his first days on Click in 2006 before cutting back to the present. The tech show’s veteran host continued: “But that is it from me on Click. It has been such a privilege to see the things that I’ve seen and bring those stories to you.

“I have had the time of my life and I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride too. So thank you so much for watching and goodbye.” His co-presenter, Lara Lewington previously shared her own regrets over the show ending, particularly at such a pivotal time, saying, “at this moment of AI transformation and incredible acceleration in innovation

Back in November, Keir Starmer claimed artificial intelligence offers a “golden opportunity” to boost the economy. The Prime Minister said the technology could impact almost every area of people’s lives across the country, as he encouraged young people to get involved. During a visit to Google’s new AI campus in London, Mr Starmer insisted: “There is a race on now, for AI, we are well-placed in that race.”

He said: “Whether that’s better treatments for cancer and other diseases and faster diagnoses, or in education, with personalised learning helping every child go as far as their talent will take them. Or in defence, ensuring our national security in a more volatile world.” The PM added: “Make no mistake – this is a golden opportunity to drive growth, raise living standards, and put money into people’s pockets.”

Coronation Street star lands huge role in BAFTA-winning drama 10 years after leaving soap

Coronation Street’s Maddie Heath star Amy James-Kelly is set to star in BBC One drama Industry as a new character after being killed off the ITV soap over a decade ago

Coronation Street star Amy James-Kelly has landed a role on rival channel BBC One in the award-winning drama Industry after leaving the cobbles 10 years ago.

Amy joined Corrie in 2013 as Maddie Heath – a love interest for Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent) who she met at a soup kitchen while sleeping rough. She left the ITV soap two years later, with Maddie dying after being attacked by Kevin Webster’s then-girlfriend Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews).

Ten years on, Amy, 29, is set to play the role of Jennifer Bevan, a newly promoted Minister in the Labour government, in the upcoming series of Industry.

She’ll be joining the critically-acclaimed drama alongside Twisters star Kiernan Shipka, Towards Zero’s Jack Farthing and Ted Lasso’s Toheeb Jimoh. Kiernan will play Hayley Clay, an executive assistant at payment processor Tender, while Jack plays Edward Smith, troublemaker and long-time friend of Henry Muck, played by Kit Harington.

Meanwhile, Ted Lasso’s Toheeb will plays Kwabena Bannerman – a trader at Mostyn Asset Management.

They will join Industry stars Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Sagar Radia, and Miriam Petche in the cast for series four, which begins filming later this month.

The BBC One drama follows a group of young investment bankers working at prestigious company Pierpoint and Co.

Last year, the series edited one particular scene in the BBC show after it was deemed too explicit for UK audiences. The moment, which featured a fully nude Kit Harington, has been cut from the BBC version, however it still aired in the American version of the episode, which aired on HBO.

Earlier this week, Coronation Street spoilers hinted that there could be more exits on the way – with one resident asking another to flee the cobbles with them.

Rob Donovan is returning to Weatherfield after escaping from prison last month, bumping into his ex Tracey Barlow. As she’s pulled into helping him, Tracy finds herself in trouble with the law once again – and old feelings resurface between the former couple.

Rob suggests that Tracy flees with him and they make a life together. But will she commit to a life on the run?

Yesterday, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver opened up about leaving the ITV soap – and how she “nearly killed” her co-stars Simon Gregson and Craig Charles during a stunt gone wrong.

“I remember in the early days when you slapped someone – you used to do it,” she said.

“Now, you’ve got stunt people in and it’s all magic but we used to do it. I remember banging Steve McDonald and Craig [Charles]’s heads together and there was an almighty bang. Honestly, I nearly killed them. I got carried away.”
