ITV’s Loose Women star ‘welcomed back’ to show with huge on-air surprise

ITV’s Loose Women kicked off in high spirits as they welcomed a much-loved panel back to the show

Loose Women got off to a warm start on Thursday’s instalment as they welcomed back panel member Tanni Grey Thompson, who has been absent for some time.

Jane Moore, who fronted the show, introduced her trio of panel members, including Katie Piper, Coleen Nolan, and Tanni.

As she approached the multi-Paralympic medallist, who kicked off her career in a club in Cardiff, Wales, Jane said with a huge smile on her face: “Welcome back, Tanni. It’s been a while,” as the audience lunged into a roaring round of applause.

Tanni was excited to have made a comeback, but even more thrilled that her panel members had a memorable surprise in store. Jane said, “Now, Tanni, are you a big Jason Donovan fan?”

She gushed, “I was a huge Neighbours fan, cried at the ‘the wedding,’ and I knew every single word to Joseph because I had a Jason Donovan CD for one of my birthday presents.”

Before she could finish her sentence, Jane announced: “Well, look who’s here,” as Jason Donovan appeared on the programme, embracing Tanni with a kind hug and kiss.

Jason said to the six-time Wheelchair Marathon winner: “Lovely to see you,” as she suggested: “We could do a Joseph duet together?”

The former Neighbours star immediately shot down the idea of singing live in front of the nation on the ITV show, telling her: “Maybe not today,” as the paralympian let out a huge sigh.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the programme, talk turned to Freddie Flintoff. The star recently opened up about his harrowing car accident on his new Disney+ + documentary, ‘Freddie Flintoff, recalling a time when he’d “wished he’d died” at his lowest point after the crash.

Jane and the other panel members were discussing his feelings and the impact his words and emotions would have had on his loved ones, when Tanni stepped in, stating she “knew how he’d felt”.

She told the panel that there were moments when growing up with Spina Bifida, she had faced some distressing comments from members of the public and so-called friends.

    Jane Moore
Jane was at the helm of the programme

Spina Bifida is a condition that causes a baby’s spine and spinal cord to not develop properly in the womb and creates a gap in the spine.

Tanni recalled some of the horrendous comments on-air. It was during this time that Tanni remembered an “honest” and heartfelt conversation with her mum.

At the time of Tanni’s birth, her mother had not known there had been any medical condition, she told her daughter that didn’t know if she had been informed in pregnancy whether the outcome would have been different.

Speaking positively about the discussion, Tanni praised her mum for being “honest” with her and appreciated understanding her own feelings, much like Freddie’s family on the show.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1, from 12:30pm.

Loose Women taken off air as Jane Moore makes announcement in major schedule shakeup

Loose Women will not air on Friday (April 24) after a major shakeup.

Loose Women’s Jane Moore announced a change to their usual TV schedule as she revealed that the popular programme will be taken off air temporarily.

During Thursday’ episode of the ITV hit daytime chat show, Jane, who fronted the show, was joined by her trio of panel members, including Katie Piper, Coleen Nolan, and Tanni as they gave their opinions on the day’s trending stories.

However at the end of the show, the panellist confirmed that the show will not air on Friday (April 24). This decision was made to accommodate the extensive coverage of the horse racing at Sandown and Perth.

Announcing the news to viewers watching at home and the live studio audience, Jane explained: “That’s it for today and the rest of the week we will be off air because of the racing.”

Teasing what fans can expect to see when the show makes its return, she added: “We are back next week with Vanessa Williams, Michael Brandon and Victoria Derbyshire.”

Elsewhere in the show, the panellists were joined by Beyonce mum Tina Knowles as she opened up about writing her new memoir Matriarch and her health battle.

Opening up on her lifelong friendships and breast cancer diagnosis, Tina emotionally shared: “Friendship with women is of the utmost importance to me, it’s one of my biggest priorities to stay connected because when I went through that, I depended on my daughters. I didn’t tell everybody in my friend group.

“And I just told them, ‘I don’t want to talk about what’s going on but I just need you guys right now’ and they were all right there with me so they’ve been a big part of my life, my whole life.”

Touching on being vulnerable in front of her daughters, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Solange Knowles, Tina added: “With this one, they were the first people I told.

“They were the only people I told for a while and they rallied around me, they always have at those very difficult times.

“When I went through divorce, the first time I was devastated, and my girls were right there to lift me up and tell me that I can do things, and make me laugh because you know at those times, you need laughter too and they are my rock really.”

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan opens up on heartbreaking regret after sister’s death

Coleen Nolan candidly opened up about her sister Bernie’s death on Loose Women, revealing her one regret from the time of her sibling’s passing

Coleen Nolan emotionally opened up about the death of her sister Bernie during a discussion on Thursday’s (24 April) episode of Loose Women.

The TV star spoke about how she navigated parenting after the loss of her sister, who died from cancer in July 2013. Coleen revealed the one thing she most regrets while she was grieving.

“So Bernie passed away, and Ciara went on a school trip. I think it was her last year or two in primary,” Coleen told her fellow panellists.

“And, it was that moment of ‘Do we bring her back for the funeral?’ or ‘Do we just let her have her moment as a kid and stay away?’ She doesn’t need to see us all crying and sad,” she added.

Coleen revealed that she chose not to bring Ciara back from her school trip to attend the funeral, but her daughter later revealed she wished she had attended the service.

“So, we didn’t. She knew that Bernie passed. She stayed on her school holiday,” Coleen said. “But, to this day, she’s 24 in June now, she always says, ‘I wish you had brought me back.’

“Because she doesn’t feel that she got to grieve properly over her auntie Bernie, like she did with Linda recently.”

However, Coleen revealed that her two sons, Jake and Shane Jr., whom she shares with her first husband, Shane Richie, felt differently when they experienced the loss of their grandfather, Coleen’s father, during their younger years.

She told how Shane Jr. opted not to attend the funeral while Jake insisted on going, and she allowed them both to make their own choice.

While Coleen’s co-stars agreed with her decisions, she expressed her regret over Ciara not attending Bernie’s funeral, adding: “But, I feel bad now with Ciara because at the time, I thought I was doing the right thing.”

Following the tragic loss of Bernie in 2013, Coleen’s sister Linda died from cancer earlier this year. Linda battled cancer for many years, having first been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.

Coleen and her sister Anne have also been diagnosed with the disease in the past. Coleen was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2023, while Anne was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000.

Most recently, their brother Brian revealed he’d been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is undergoing treatment.

Ruth Langsford has shared her ‘fabulous’ recipe for a classic spag bol, which includes a ‘secret ingredient’ that can give the dish a ‘really deep flavour’

Ruth Langsford has dished up her go-to spaghetti bolognese recipe, and it’s got a twist that might raise a few eyebrows. The Loose Women star swears by an unexpected ‘secret ingredient’ for this Italian classic, promising it delivers a ‘really deep flavour’.

Posting to Instagram yesterday, she said: “Hi everybody, well, I’m in the kitchen today, hence the wooden spoon. I’m going to make a spag bol. This is my mum’s recipe, and I know you might roll your eyes, ‘But we all know how to make spag bol, Ruth.’

“Some people go, ‘Oh, I never put mushrooms, I love mushrooms, celery [yuck]’. And I’ve just adapted it to my own little fabulous recipe. So, let’s get cooking.”

Ruth kicked off her recipe by grabbing chopped onions from her freezer and sizzling them in a heated frying pan. Next, she tossed in a pack of minced beef, breaking up any clumps with a large fork.

“If you have lumps, look, I’ve got this great thing. A big fork, because you don’t want a big lumpy spag bol, do you?” Ruth said, before popping a blob of both garlic and tomato puree into the pan.

She continued: “And then cook that off before you put anything else in. Tomatoes, red oxo cube diluted [and the] secret ingredient.” Brace yourselves, Ruth’s unconventional addition to the dish is instant coffee granules.

“I think it gives it a really deep flavour, it doesn’t taste of coffee,” she added. “So, Jack, just to let you know, I’ve always put coffee in your spag bowl, darling. And you don’t like coffee.”

Moving on, Ruth added ‘lots of’ dried basil and bay leaves for even more flavour. She then popped a lid on top of the pan and simmered this at a low heat for ‘an hour-and-a-half ish’.

“But don’t forget my little added secret ingredient is the coffee,” the 65-year-old said while finishing up her recipe. In the caption, she also summarised: “No strict measurements here… I just go by eye, taste as I go, and trust my instincts.

“I know some people swear by red wine, fancy stock, or simmering for hours… but I keep it simple, hearty and full of flavour… just how we like it.

“I always use frozen, chopped onions….game changer! Makes it so much quicker and no runny eyes! Nothing posh, nothing fiddly… just proper comfort food for a busy weeknight.”

Unsurprisingly, Ruth’s recipe was flooded with comments from fans who swear by other secret ingredients when making spaghetti bolognese. One person wrote: “Looks delicious I add Worcestershire sauce and Marmite to mine,” as someone else chimed in: “I add pancetta and balsamic vinegar to mine.”

Meanwhile, another added: “My secret ingredient is milk after you put the meat in, I feel it bulks the meat out and makes it tender.”

  • Katie Piper: ‘I thought I should have killed my acid attacker’

Katie Piper: ‘I thought I should have killed my acid attacker’

The TV presenter opens up while speaking to a female inmate on trial for murder in New Orleans, who shot her husband after suffering decades of violent abuse

    Katie Piper
Katie plays cards with Tonica before they chat about the attacks they have endured

Katie Piper sometimes thinks she “should have killed” the abusive ex-partner who was behind the acid attack which left her scarred for life in 2008. The TV presenter makes her candid confession in a new documentary in which she travels to the US state of Louisiana to speak to female inmates at a prison in New Orleans, many of whom are awaiting trial on a murder charge.

Speaking to 47-year-old Tonica Mutin, who was a victim of violent abuse from her husband for years before she shot him, Katie reveals that in the aftermath of her own attack she also wished she’d taken extreme action to protect herself.

Katie was 24 when her former boyfriend Daniel Lynch raped her and then hired a man to throw acid in her face, for which she has since needed 400 operations.

    Katie Piper
Katie Piper says the women she met often trusted her because they knew she understood what they’d been through, because of her own scars

Hearing Tonica’s story about being beaten repeatedly for many years, Katie confides: “I spent a lot of time in hospital, it’s very different from prison, but I spent time in isolation and in a bed thinking that I should have killed him.”

The TV presenter, 41, finds it staggering that under the Louisiana state laws the women she meets are not able to plead self defence, regardless of what drove them to kill. Tonica is charged with second degree murder of her violently abusive husband and says that on the night she shot him she truly feared for her own life. She explains: “He wasn’t letting up that night. I truly felt like I could die. I didn’t have a plan. I was defending myself.

Asked if she regrets her actions, Tonica says she does – but not because she’s facing a life behind bars. “Do I regret it? Hell yes, because I loved my husband, I truly did, and I miss him so much.”

    Katie Piper
The mum-of-two spent a month in the prison and said the experience has changed her life(Image: UKTV)

Katie tells her: “In my situation I was attacked twice. I was beaten and raped and then a couple of days later I had acid thrown in my face. I suppose I had that moment that you had, when I felt like he was beating me, he was going to kill me. I always thought that if someone was going to kill me I would defend myself but what happened to me was – I froze out of fear and I didn’t do anything to him. And a couple of days later somebody threw the acid on me.”

Katie’s new U&W series, which starts on Sunday, comes just days after it emerged Lynch has been granted a parole hearing in June, in which he will plea for release or to be moved to an open prison.

The 48-year-old was given life with a minimum sentence of 16 years in 2009 for instructing Stefan Sylvestre to carry out the acid attack, days after he had raped Katie in a hotel room.

Sylvestre is still wanted by police two years after going missing. He breached his licence conditions when he was released on parole and is now thought to be living abroad.

Speaking in 2023, Katie confessed that Lynch’s release was on her mind. “The people that attacked me will be released,” she said. “Are they going to kill me? I’m not sure.”

Speaking months later at a screening of the new series, Katie said that perhaps if she’d grown-up in a tough neighbourhood surrounded by crime and violence, as many of the women in the programme had, she might have behaved differently.

“I think what a lot of those women had in common was their childhood. And if I compare my childhood to theirs, I had never ever experienced trauma or abuse until I was attacked – that’s not the case for those women.

    Katie Piper
Spending time in the prison helped Katie to come to terms with a medical trauma over her left eye(Image: UKTV)

“Tonica talked about seeing somebody shot and seeing a dead body at the age of six. I can’t comprehend what that must have been like and what that does to you. I think however you are raised and what you grow up around becomes your go-to and your coping mechanism. So I do believe a lot of the women in this film, and in the other episodes, were in that situation of shoot or be shot. Obviously it isn’t a path that I took, but maybe if my childhood and upbringing had been different then who knows?”

Katie says that while some of the inmates thought her facial injuries were down to ‘botox’ others made different assumptions. “A lot of people think I’m a recovering meth addict because lots of people obviously get burnt when cooking up meth. And a lot of people there thought I had HIV because they said I was so skinny.”

To make the four-part series, Katie and an all-female crew spent a month inside the Louisiana prison. Introducing the programme she says: “Fifteen years ago a violent attack changed my life forever and since then I’ve been trying to understand why people commit violent acts.

    Katie Piper
The damage caused by the sulphuric acid attack in 2008 left Katie needing multiple surgeries (Image: Instagram)

“By spending time with those accused of the most shocking crimes and becoming a part of their world, I’m getting to know the women on the inside to find out what drove them to kill, understand where they came from and ask if violence can ever be justified.”

The mum-of-two said that sometimes she witnessed extreme behaviour from the women, who were locked up with no access to the outdoors. Asked if she felt scared at times, she reasoned: “You think of prison to be unpredictable and volatile, but so is life. We never know what’s going to happen. And I suppose I always go into these projects with, well what is the worst that could happen to me? And I think to make a good show, we had to have a little element of risk. I would be more scared walking through central London at night on my own.”

Some of the women she speaks to have already given up and accepted their fate, she found. “In America, the justice system, the sentencing, the gun laws, the crime, is so very different to the UK. Louisiana, in particular, locks up so many people. And women are really failed because there is no self-defence law in Louisiana. It doesn’t exist, but so many people are allowed to carry an unconcealed weapon. So it is a flawed system, for sure.”

    Katie Piper
Katie relaxing on holiday with her husband(Image: @katiepiper_/Instagram)

But while they were accepting of their own situations, some felt that hers was worse. “That’s a sad reflection of what they feel is their self-worth and what should happen to them and what’s normal life for them and not normal life for me,” she explained. “I am the perfect victim. I’m from a loving family. I’m white. I was young, pretty, blonde, I presented as feminine. So I am believed and I am platformed and listened to. So what happens when you are not all of those things? Where do you go? Where do you end up? What’s the end of your story?”

After returning to her husband and daughters when filming ended, Katie found it hard to shake the experience. “It changed my life forever,” she says. “I really missed the women and I felt a bit guilty about coming back to my life, back on Loose Women the next day. Those women had a big impact on me and I’ll never forget them.

“I had a bit of an unexpected medical trauma with my eye before I went out there, so I had felt slightly shaken. And then I met these women that had these different things – and it was a really restorative time for me. Those women really helped me too. So I’ll always be grateful to them.”

Fans have rallied around Stacey Solomon as she bravely opened up about a difficult time for her family. The popular Loose Women panellist shared an emotional message with her social media followers, revealing they are “truly devastated” at the sudden illness of their much-loved dog Teddy.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Stacey paid tribute to “Our darling Teddy” before admitting that her and husband Joe Swash’s beloved pooch might “might not ever fully recover”.

She said: “Teddy became suddenly unwell on Thursday. It turns out he has a predisposed condition we had no idea about as he was a rescue. He has been operated on by incredible vets and the next 3-4 days are crucial for him to get through, even then, he might not ever fully recover.”

Reflecting on the bond her family shares with Teddy, Solomon added: “We are praying and hoping so hard that he pulls through and that we can care for him in the best way we possibly can, to give him the best life he can have.”

With profound sadness, Stacey continued: “We are all truly devastated. He is the sweetest, most protective, loving dog. He’s our family. And far too young to be going through this.”

Signing off her post, which included a poignant photograph of her embracing Teddy and his visible yellow cast, the former X Factor contestant expressed her deep affection: “We love you Ted. So so much. Pickle cottage is far too quiet without you. I miss my toilet buddy. Peanut is so sad without his best friend.”

Supportive messages have flooded in for Stacey with a fan commenting: “Oh Teddy, praying for a full recovery bub, I hope you’re ok, come on Teddy you can do this.”

Another fan added: “Aww no! Sorry to hear this about Teddy, wishing him a full and speedy recovery”.

A third fan shared their support: “Oh Stacey, I’m so sorry. Sending so much love. Teddy, you’ve got this little man, get better super soon and back to your family.”

Stacey first introduced Teddy to her followers in 2022, reports Essex Live, after the family decided to welcome a new dog following the passing of their cherished Theo just two weeks prior. The cocker spaniel was brought home to provide companionship for their other dog, Peanut.

The reason behind choosing the name Teddy was also shared by the mum-of-five, who revealed it as a heartfelt homage to Theo.

In a touching Instagram story post featuring an adorable photo, Stacey explained that Teddy is short for Theodore, writing: “We called him teddy because Teddy can be short for ‘Theodore’ so we thought it was a special tribute to Theo.”

At the time, Teddy was a six-month-old working cocker spaniel.

Stacey also disclosed that they didn’t specifically select Teddy but rather asked for a dog that would fit well with young children and another dog. She elaborated: “We didn’t pick him out but we said we would take any dog suitable for young children and another dog.

“We didn’t mind what breed, colour, coat anything as long as he would be happy and it was right. And along came Teddy. Teddy wasn’t wanted by the original owner anymore due to being much smaller than his brothers and sisters.

“I have no idea why or how anyone could not want him or he wouldn’t be ‘good’ enough. But apparently he is no where near the size he should be for his breed and that was one of the main reasons why he wasn’t kept by the breeder.”

Sharing the news, Emma penned: “A few weeks ago, I had keyhole heart surgery, which feels very strange to write, and even stranger when I say it out loud. From investigations last year, to diagnosis and then surgery, they were absolutely incredible. As was @mattjwillis who never left my side.

“Turns out, I’ve been pottering around for 48 years blissfully unaware I had a hole in my heart. Isn’t it bonkers what’s happening in our bodies that we have no idea about… What blows my mind even more is the wonders of modern medicine, and the spectacular people that save, fix and help us every single day.

“Can you imagine what it must feel like to have a pair of hand that can do that job?! They are the real superstar… A few of those people are Dr Alexander Lyon who investigated like a true super sleuth. Professor Wei Li, echocardiogram extraordinaire. Catrina, Carl and Tim who kept me at ease and humoured me when they were putting me to sleep. Marcus, Janet, Jayne, Hannah and Reem who monitored me at various points. Paulette, who was always up for a chat, gave great hugs, and loves a cinnamon slice as much as I do!”

Praising her surgeon, Emma went on to say of Dr Ee Ling Heng: “She was recommend as a ‘spectacular pair of hands’ but my god, shes that and so much more. She has an ease and warmth that made me feel instantly comfortable all whilst being incredible professional and informative.

“I ask a million questions, and she answered them with the patience of a saint. I knew as soon as we met that she was the woman I wanted poking around in my heart. Thank you Ee Ling, you’re one in a trillion.”

Symptoms of a hole in the heart include a rapid heartbeat, rapid breathing, swelling of the legs, stomach or around the eyes, extreme tiredness and fatigue, a blue tinge to the skin or lips and tiredness and rapid breathing when a baby is feeding. The NHS adds that some problems are noticeable at birth while some others may not develop until later in life.

Mild defects often don’t require treatment and can improve on their own, while surgery or interventional procedures can be required to treat more serious defects if it is causing a problem.

  • ‘It’s sad Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness aren’t pals anymore – we used to have a laugh’

‘It’s sad Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness aren’t pals anymore – we used to have a laugh’

Watching Freddie Flintoff’s film took me back to great fun I had before Freddie’s accident, chatting with him and Paddy, says Mark Jefferies

It’s a huge emotional roller coaster ride watching Freddie Flintoff’s new Disney+ documentary, and it will bring a tear to many people’s eyes.

But away from the gruesome hospital pictures and shocking details of his accident, and even the physical and mental pain he suffers from, the thing I found most surprising was the admission that Freddie had not seen Top Gear co-host Paddy McGuinness since his crash at the end of 2022. My memories of the pair together on Top Gear are still quite vivid, and I was lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time with them along with Chris Harris when they promoted the series they were on from 2019 until 2022.

First and foremost they always seem to have so much fun in each other’s company and whilst I appreciate the reasons why Freddie hasn’t seen Paddy, it is such a contrast to what went before.

One time during COVID, we spoke on a zoom chat, and I was quick to point out cheekily that Freddie had beaten Paddy in a number of challenges, and that I thought Freddie was, in fact, better on Top Gear than him. Unsurprisingly, Freddie and Chris Harris both found this amusing, much more so than Paddy. And there was some joking and banter back and forth, and we ended on good terms.

Paddy and Freddie on Top Gear
Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff haven’t seen each other in years

There was more laughter the next time we met over some other new challenge or some mistake Paddy or Freddie had made. Freddie would always eat the hottesh chilli or push himself to the limits to try to beat Paddy, but nothing was too serious. It was a job they both loved and they were like big kids living out their dreams in all these cars in places around the world they had never seen.

Plus my overall impression was that Freddie and Paddy always got on really well. Promotion days are the worst part of their job and some celebs just want to get to the end of them. But the trio always seemed to enjoy each other’s company and so it never seemed like a chore to them. I always looked forward to chatting to them, knowing they might mock me a bit in some way if I took them to task over something in the series, but it would all be light hearted and I would leave the room with a grin on my face.

This makes it all the more remarkable that Freddie has not seen Paddy for over two years now, having flown around the world with him and spent so much time with him for several years.

Freddie says in the documentary he has seen Chris Harris once and they both cried.

He then adds: “I feel bad I haven’t been in more contact with him and Paddy. Part of it is for myself a little bit. I hate the word triggering, but I’m worried about that.”

He goes on to say the accident “altered” their careers as well as his own.

“So I feel not guilty, but I feel bad for him. And also, what happened gets dragged up. I have enough in me head without adding to that.”

I totally understand Freddie’s reasoning and he must do what is right for himself first and foremost.

But I know Paddy reasonably well, having spoke to him a lot in his career, and I can safely say I don’t think Paddy would care at all about what has happened in terms of his own career.

He would care about his old mucker Freddie feeling OK, and he could also point to the fact he is still on TV loads and also has his own Radio 2 show, so he is not exactly short of a few quid and there is nothing to worry about on that front.

Chris Harris also will be much more concerned about Freddie’s health and wellbeing than his own TV career.

The film ends with Freddie in upbeat mood and cricket coaching seems to have helped him which is wonderful to see. There’s a smile back on his face.

So I do hope at some point, and when the time is right, Freddie will decide to meet Paddy, or maybe they’ll bump into each other at some event. Once they do that, Freddie will know for certain that there are no bad feelings from Paddy and he is not upset. He will know that as soon as he is face to face with him. I hope time can heal their friendship and one day I’ll get to have a laugh with them again.

JoJo Siwa receives cold four-word message from partner ahead of CBB final

The Celebrity Big Brother housemates receive letters from home in tonight’s episode – including JoJo Siwa, who receives a few cryptic words about her partner from her mum

Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa receives a blunt message about her partner Kath Ebbs from her mother in tonight’s episode, with the Australian influencer saying that they’re “keen to see her”. JoJo Siwa’s relationship has been a topic of discussion among CBB fans due to the US star’s close and tactile relationship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes.

In tonight’s episode, which sees the housemates receive letters from home, JoJo has Chris read her letter from her mum. She writes: “The most important thing to tell you is a message from Kath because I know you really miss them the most. Kath’s keen to see you when you get out.’”

Later while reflecting on her letter from home, JoJo admits to Jack P Shepherd: “I honestly like, I’m finding myself really analysing that note and I don’t like it.”

Jack then responds by asking if she’s trying to find a “hidden message” within the note, while Chris tells Big Brother that it was an honour to read out her letter.

“I nearly started crying before I said anything, just where it said, ‘Dear JoJo’. And it was nice, her partner’s in there, her mum’s in there,” he says. “Two very important people. It was an honour; it was an honour to read out her letter.”

Later in the diary room, JoJo tells Big Brother that she’s tried to keep herself “distracted from missing sweet Kath”. She adds: “I said goodbye to them at the airport and it was a really hard goodbye. And then they were the last person I talked to before I gave up my phone for the Big Brother house. God, I love that little sucker. I do.

“I do have beef to pick with them though, they didn’t even say in the note that they love me. I will not let them live that down. I will say, ‘where was my ‘hi sweetheart’, where was my ‘I love you’ where was my ‘I miss you’?’.

“Like happy you’re keen to see me when I get out of here, keen to see you as well, but come on baba, give me a little something something.”

Earlier this week, CBB fans caught Chris and JoJo in another intimate embrace in unaired scenes. As the pair stood in the kitchen, JoJo could be heard saying to the Love Island star on the livestream: “I need a massage.” Love Island star Chris was more than happy to help, as he replied: “I’ll give you a massage.”

Coronation Street Dom’s plan ‘revealed’ – and it’s bad news for three characters

Coronation Street newcomer Dom has sparked concern over his real intentions amid his big scheme with Christina Boyd linked to Daisy Midgeley’s revenge on Jenny Connor

There could be a sinister twist looming on Coronation Street, as fans think newcomer Dom is scheming more than has been let on.

Dom arrived as the fake love interest of Jenny Connor, a catfish used to scam her courtesy of Christina Boyd. Christina was enlisted by her daughter Daisy Midgeley to help her destroy her stepmother Jenny after a secret was exposed.

The pair had been feuding, but the last straw was Daisy finding out Jenny was due a windfall of £60,000 and she wasn’t going to tell her about it, despite it being from Daisy’s dad. With them both in bet, Jenny’s plan to use it to basically save herself led to Daisy wanting revenge.

Daisy was stunned though amid her and Christina catfishing Jenny, as her fake lover Dom arrived to meet Jenny. Jenny has no idea he’s using her and is helping the others to steal her money.

Daisy is clearly questioning their plan ahead of her exit from the ITV soap next week. She knows she won’t have long to stick around if all goes to plan, with Dom lying to Jenny about a venture she could invest in – and Jenny is taking the bait.

But can Christina and Daisy really trust Dom, amid their plan to use him to get the money from Jenny and then flee? It seems Daisy herself is worried about the plan, knowing Dom and Christina are closer than they have made out.

With more on this tipped to be exposed, and fears over who is playing who, poor Jenny remains unaware that the man she is seeing is out to get her, with the help of her own stepdaughter. Fans think there is more to Dom though and that things could take a brutal turn.

After scenes of him with Jenny and with Christina, and seeing Daisy’s concern, viewers are speculating Dom could be scamming all of them and not just Jenny. While one fan predicted Christina might be using Dom and will not give him the money, others pointed out that it’s Dom who will likely get the money first due to his lie to Jenny.

As one viewer likened him to former scammer Lewis Archer, some viewers believe Dom will take off with the money and leave Daisy and Christina, and Jenny, with nothing. If it is his real plan, it will no doubt be bad news for Jenny, Christina and Daisy who will all be left facing the music.

Taking to social media one fan said: “I just have this horrible feeling Dom is like another Lewis Archer and could be conning everyone.” Another viewer said: “I think Dom will make off with it on his own. Similar to Luke Strong with Rosie Webster.”

A third fan commented: “Well it sounds like the money is going into Dom’s account first,” as a fourth viewer said of the plot: “Anyone else think Dom might be playing his own game and Christina might not know him as much as she thinks?”

Another viewer predicted otherwise, suggesting: “Will Dom see any of the money? I can see Christina taking it and screwing both Daisy and Dom out of it.” Time will tell as Daisy makes her exit next week!
