Dan Osborne’s close friends have claimed his relationship with Jacqueline Jossa is more ‘complicated’ than ever. Despite reportedly ending their eight-year marriage last month, the pair confused fans when they looked every inch a couple in love on their recent holiday with their two daughters Ella, 9, and Mia, 6, in Mexico.

The ‘make-or-break’ holiday – which also saw them joined by Dan’s son, 11, from a previous relationship and Jac’s mum Selina – seemed to have worked some magic as a source told The Mirror that the pair are ‘trying to fall back in love with each other again.’

As they lay by the pool, EastEnders favourite Jac, 33, was seen beaming as her former TOWIE star husband Dan, 33, seemed to nuzzle her neck playfully as she relaxed on a sunbed at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

Their loving interactions gave every indication that they couldn’t be happier on their getaway – but Dan’s friends have reportedly been left highly confused after laying their eyes on the snaps.

According to the reality TV star’s loved ones, Jac and Dan live a very different life ‘behind closed doors’ in comparison to what they portray in public.

Speaking to Mail Online, a source close to Dan said: “Jac wants the world to see that things are perfect: she has a handsome husband, two beautiful kids and a great job. But behind closed doors, things are not like that. She has wanted to keep the family image alive but things were not going well between them.”

The insider also claimed that the former TOWIE star is ‘fed up’ of living a ‘fake’ life for the benefit of the public opinion – but Jacqueline reportedly feels very differently about it all.

They said: “Dan found it very difficult, he would say that things were pretty awful between them at times and he knew that they had to end it but she didn’t want that. Dan was fed up of living this fake life.

“In fact, when the word started to get out about their split, Jac wanted it denied while Dan was more keen that it was out there and enlisted in the help of some industry experts to help him.”

It comes after an onlooker at the five-star hotel where Dan and Jac were staying on their holiday said: “Dan and Jac looked like any normal couple. There were a few Brits at the resort, but no one recognised them and they were left alone to relax and enjoy quality time together.”

The public display of affection for one another was a far cry from the turbulent place the couple, whose relationship has been severely tested in the past, seemed to be in a month ago when they made the shock announcement they were going their separate ways.

In a joint statement issued by the couple it was revealed: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents – something that will never change.” Not long after, Jac, who plays Lauren Branning in EastEnders, was pictured having secretly spent a night at Dan’s house.

Back in January, the couple were not for the first time forced to deny split claims, with friends saying they were “upset and hurt” at the allegations, after they put their home up for sale.

The couple, who met in 2013, tied the knot in 2017 at a country manor house in Cheshire. But their union has been rocked by cheating scandals. Dan was seen getting cosy with Love Islander Gabby Allen on a yacht in Marbella in April 2018. However, both Dan and Gabby denied any wrongdoing.

This was followed a month later by reports that Jac, who was pregnant at the time, had squared up to a mystery woman over claims of a romp with Dan just months after the couple’s wedding.

In 2020, Jacqueline denied reports that she had walked out on her husband after questioning him over a flirty message to Gabby, who apparently did not respond. Dan confessed publicly to having made “mistakes”. He said: “I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done.” In recent years the couple’s marriage seemed more steady however, that changed following recent speculation over their marriage and an announcement the pair had split.

The Mirror has approached Dan and Jacqueline’s respective representatives for comment on this story.

Pete’s comments come after Zara and 1D singer Louis were spotted enjoying a sunny romantic trip to Los Angeles, with them sharing snaps on their social media from the same locations.

Zara, 28, and Louis, 33, spent a night together at a gig as they watched Stereophonics in a packed crowd – while skilfully keeping each other off their photos.

Later in the week, Zara finally confirmed her relationship with Louis as she shared a snap of them enjoying breakfast together in Malibu as Louis’ arm featured in a snap in a move that has been branded a ‘soft launch’ of their romance.

The romance was fully sealed when Zara and Louis were pictured on another lunch date at Soho Beach House in Malibu. They walked hand in hand as they were full smiles while chatting away to each other – though a body language expert has claimed one might be more into the romance than the other.

It comes just a month after they were seen on a cosy date for the first time at a hotel restaurant in Suffolk.

Zara was previously in a relationship with Made In Chelsea star Sam – with who she split from in December. The couple were together for five years and Pete was jokingly considered their “third wheel”.

The TOWIE star featured on many of their TikTok skits and even joined them on may outings, date nights and more.

Sam has yet to comment on Zara and Louis’ new romance but previously shared a cryptic comment, saying: “People look for validation in others to fill that hole”, which is something he says he ‘can’t do’.

He also spoke with friend and Married At First sight star, Paul C Brunson, on a recent episode of his podcast Staying Relevant, Sam was asked what he was doing to find self love.

The I’m A Celeb winner confessed he hasn’t been thinking about dating as he replied: “Not much to be honest with you.”

Suggesting people look for validation in others, he continued: “I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people right? And they look for the next person instantly because it’s like: ‘I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement. You know when you get that excited feeling when you are talking to someone new and fresh. I can’t do that.”

Singer and Loose Women star Jane McDonald has placed her £1 million Yorkshire home up for sale four years after the death of her partner, Eddie Rothe. The 62-year-old has lived in the cosy bungalow for the past 18 years but might be looking to find a change of scenery in the future.

Since 2022, she’s been living in the Wakefield house with best pal Sue Ravey and spent the last few years renovating the property to get an open plan kitchen, panoramic views and walk-in closets. She previously discussed moving to a new location in an interview with The Times last year.

“I converted the bungalow into a house during lockdown,” she explained at the time. “I had everything done and it’s gorgeous, but now it’s far too big. All I do is clean. I’ll probably downsize. The sea is calling.”

The five-bedroom bungalow has four bathrooms as well as a conservatory and a gym. It was sold for £485,000 in 2007 and £205,000 in 1998. And now, it’s on sale for £1 million.

Jane, who grew up in Yorkshire, discussed her home in My Love Letter To Yorkshire. She said on the show: “It’s where I’m from. I love it, I miss it when I’m not there and I’m fiercely proud of it.

“No matter where I was, I always tried to get in a mention of Wakefield – or Wakey as I call it. Because I wanted everyone to know about my beautiful home city and the county of Yorkshire beyond.”

In 2021, Jane lost her partner, Eddie Rothe. She previously shared the deep pain of losing Eddie, who she describes as one of the most incredible humans she ever met.

Eddie tragically away at the age of 67 after a battle with lung cancer in 2021. The two had known each other since their teenage years, but their paths crossed again later in life. They rekindled their romance in the early 2000s and became engaged in 2008.

In a rare admission, the presenter expressed her gratitude for having experienced “real love” with the musician.

Reflecting on the heartache of losing her partner, Jane shared: “You have to find your way of dealing with it, it’s not easy. It never leaves you either. Everybody thinks, ‘Oh, she’s back on track.’

“No, it never leaves you. I have to make a decision every morning about what my day is going to be like, because you can go that way, or you can go that way.”

Jane’s first husband is Henrik Brixen, a ship’s plumbing engineer, from Denmark, who later became her manager. They got married in 1998 but parted ways in 2003.

Fans of Celebrity Big Brother have already figured out who will leave the ITV1 series in the next eviction, they believe.

Two stars face the chop on Friday night after nominations were announced during Thursday’s episode. Big Brother confirmed that retired athlete Daley Thompson and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer were the next two stars to face the public vote.

Viewers were told to vote to save to keep whoever they wanted in, and the person with the lowest votes will be eliminated. The announcement left the housemates stunned that only two names were up, with some left in tears by the chosen pair.

But fans think it’s obvious who will leave and who will stay, with the result set to be announced live on Friday night. Viewers are convinced Patsy will stay another day, and it will be Daley who leaves.

Taking to social media, one fan posted: “GET DALEY OUT!” as another commented: “Daley to leave.” A thid fan said: “Trust the British Public to kick out Daley over someone who insists they want to go home.”

Another fan commented: “My prediction is Daley will be evicted,” with another tweet saying: “Bye Bye Daley.” A further remark said: “Daley for tomorrow’s eviction,” and another said: “Daley will be evicted.”

Amid the shock of who was nominated being revealed to the house, Daley said he was okay with it but he seemed unimpressed. Patsy agreed that she was fine either way, but soon there were tears.

Four housemates voted for Daley as part of the house’s third opportunity to nominate each other, with Patsy among those who nominated him. He was also nominated by presenter Angellica, Love Island finalist Chris Hughes and comedian Donna Preston.

Patsy instead received five nominations. Angellica and Chris were among those who voted for the soap star. She was also nominated by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and the Only Way is Essex’s Ella.

Viewers are being asked to vote to save their favourite of the two nominated housemates. The outcome of the vote will be revealed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best in tomorrow night’s live eviction ahead of an interview with the evictee.

The latest nominations come shortly after the second eviction, which took place on Tuesday night.

Presenter Trisha Goddard was voted out of the Big Brother house that night after having been up against Patsy and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd.

The emotional winner of The Apprentice Dean Franklin has told of the toll the BBC show took on his family life – meaning he regularly sobbed on the phone because he missed them so much.

He was away from his wife Chloe, 33, and kids Bonnie, seven, and Ted, nine, for over two months on total competing on the BBC show which was filmed last year. It meant he missed both his wife and son’s birthday and strict rules meant he was only allowed one phone call a week.

Dean said: “There were all these new emotions I didn’t know I had. I mean, it was so hard. I’ve never been away from my wife and kids for longer than a couple of days before, and when I first signed up to the process, I thought, You know what this, this might be a nice little break, you know, nice little break away from work, away from the family, signed me up, but then it hit me like a ton of bricks, that was not the reality of it.

We was away for two and a half months. And yeah, you get one phone call home every every week for 10 minutes, and that’s all you get. And the 10 minutes goes really quick, especially when you’re both crying on the phone to each other.

“I missed my son’s birthday. I missed my wife’s birthday. I missed one of my good mates mum’s funeral. I missed a lot. But to come out on the other side as the winner. I mean, it’s just all worth it in the end.”

The family were all watching the final together, with Dean keeping the result a secret from his kids. Dean was crowned winner in the final after Lord Sugar opted to invest in his air conditioning business and he beat Anisa Khan in the final. Lord Sugar, who was choosing between Dean’s firm and Anisa’s pizza business, ended the show by saying: “This is the way I see it. Dean, through the process you’ve been quite good.

“There’ve been a few rocky moments where you remained in it by the skin of your teeth, but do I have the confidence in the residential market? As opposed to food where everyone’s got to eat, and a £10, £12 pizza is affordable to most people. That’s where I am at the moment. Given it deep consideration. I’m going to say that, Dean you’re going to be my business partner.”

After learning of his win, Dean said: “I can’t believe I’ve just won The Apprentice. This is going to mean the world to me and my family. My kids are going to be over the moon.” For the final task, finalists Anisa Khan and Dean Franklin went head-to-head to prove to Lord Sugar why they deserved to receive his £250,000 investment and form a 50/50 partnership with the business mogul.

On hand were some of the candidates fired earlier in the series who returned to help the two finalists bring their business plans to life before they took on the biggest pitch of their lives to Lord Sugar and industry experts. Looking to the future after setting up the business in 2020, Dean said: “We’ve not had it easy. You know, there’s been times where we have struggled, and I think a lot of people can relate to that. You know, we’ve always worked.

“And I think starting the business was a massive risk that I took in a very scary time. You know, during the pandemic, people were losing jobs. People were working from home. There was a lot of crazy stuff going on, a lot of changes, and no one could sort of predict the future. And for me to then risk it all and quit a very, very good paying job and just go from go for it as such, and start my own thing was a very, very scary time.

“Now it comes to a point where the business is sort of bursting at the seams, as I said in the show, I do need a bit of help and guidance on how I can take it to the next level and what I can do, and Lord Sugar is the perfect man for that.”

The result may have surprised some viewers as in the semi final interview stage Dean made a series of blunders. He claimed that everyone needs air conditioning “now more than ever, especially with the increase in climate control” instead of climate change and later called it the climate zone. And business guru Mike Soutar then showed a picture Dean had posted on social media of a sex object stuck onto an air conditioning unit. A red-faced Dean explains that they had been working in a sex shop and he thought it would be “quite funny”. Soutar was not amused and said it did not show him a “trusted organisation”.

But Lord Sugar was not put off by these mistakes and Dean’s company already makes a substantial profit from its Essex base which they hope they can upscale to make millions.

The reality star left host AJ Odudu and viewers completely gobsmacked after he decided to wee in a cat litter tray while dressed as a cat. Appearing on spin-off show Late and Live, AJ shared the clip as she was heard saying: “Disgusting!”

In the video, celebs could be seen dressed up in cat costumes as part of an upcoming challenge. It started off cute, but things took a quick turn when Chris Hughes asked JoJo Siwa to block the door to the changing room for him. He warned her: “I need a wee.”

The former Love Island star went on to ask his best friend, “Can you block the door?” He then pleaded: “Don’t tell anyone I’ve weed though.”

After JoJo got up and went to stand in front of the door in her fur suit, Chris leaned over a box filled with cat litter. He told the American girl: “Wait a minute, because you’re giving me stage fright.” She advised him to close his eyes, and the reality star giggled before following her instructions.

Until this moment it was unclear whether he was joking or not, but he then did appear to let a stream of liquid splash into the litter box. Viewers watching the segment during Late and Live could be heard letting out a collective groan of disgust.

The audience then screamed as Chris went on to smooth down the litter tray, brushing away the evidence – but presumably touching his own urine in the process.

Horrified viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the controversial moment, with one saying: “Chris needs to get a backdoor eviction for that piddling. Did he even wash his hands after?”

Another firmly stated: “Chris’ only excuse is that he was drunk. That’s not sober behaviour.” A third asked: “Didn’t Chris grow up on a farm or something?! I swear I remember that from when he was in Love Island.” While a third fumed: “Ewww he is disgusting.” “I feel so nauseated. They’re so so weird,” said another.

It comes as Big Brother dropped a massive announcement that left the stars in tears. Ella Rae Wise was shown sobbing and being comforted by her housemates, as others were also upset.

Something about it also left many of them shocked, not expecting what was revealed. It was the announcement of who had been nominated by the stars for the next live eviction that led to plenty of tears.

Freddie Flintoff’s horrific Top Gear car crash has been seen on screen for the first time in a trailer for a tell-all documentary about his life. A preview of new 90-minute original documentary film Flintoff, sees Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff discussing his “vivid” memories of the smash that left him with extensive facial injuries and ‘lucky to be alive’.

In one shot, medics are seen attending to the injured sportsman at the side of the road with tyre skids showing how the three-wheeled open-topped car he was driving had veered catastrophically off track.

In the Disney+ teaser, Flintoff said: “I remember everything about it. It’s so vivid. This is what I’m left with… I wouldn’t say I’m embracing them but I’m not trying to hide my scars.”

Speaking about his decision to release a tell-all documentary now, the sportsman said: “I’d lived under the radar for seven months, one of the real frustrations was the speculation, that’s why I’m doing this now. What actually happened?”

Recalling his rise to fame as an England cricketer and tabloid favourite, he added: “I was a shy kid growing up, they start calling me Fred and then I found this alter-ego.” The star said he became a ‘commodity’ with his life being ‘reset’ by the near-fatal smash.

The sportsman’s life changed forever in December 2022 when he got behind the wheel of a Morgan Super 3 for Top Gear and the vehicle flipped over at high speed.

The presenter sustained broken ribs and serious facial injuries while filming a stunt for the BBC show. Flintoff’s son Corey, revealed at the time, his father was “lucky to be alive”

Freddie previously told how he was “crying every two minutes” for weeks after the horror crash, as well as having flashbacks and nightmares about the near death experience when he tried to sleep.

Former presenter Chris Harris said he had expressed concerns about the stunt before Freddie got in the car. Discussing Flintoff’s accident, Harris said: “He wasn’t wearing a crash helmet. And if you do that, even at 25, 30 miles an hour, the injuries that you sustain are profound.

Harris said the crash happened as Flintoff was driving a three-wheeled supercar.”It’s a very, difficult car,” he said. “You have to be aware of its limitations. And I think that really was difficult, and you need experience. There were two people that had driven a Morgan three-wheeler before present that day – me and someone else, a pro driver.

“And we were sitting inside at that time. No one had asked us anything about the car. They’d just gone on and shot it without us.”

Harris arrived on the scene shortly after the crash. He told Rogan: “I remember the radio message that I heard. I heard someone say this has been a real accident here. The car’s upside down. So I ran to the window, looked out and he wasn’t moving.”

The accident was not the first Flintoff has suffered since he first began presenting the show.The father-of-four crashed into a market stall in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in February 2019.

In September of the same year, he also crashed during a drag race while he was filming at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire, but walked away unharmed. In June 2022, Flintoff was racing in a bobsleigh at a course in Norway when it flipped over, but he again came out of the crash unscathed.

James Corden also features in the new Disney documentary alongside Freddie’s wife – who says in the trailer that her life also changed forever after the crash.

Speaking his BBC series a Field Of Dreams, Freddie broke down in tears and said he “should not be here” after his Top Gear horror crash left him with severe injuries and anxiety so bad he couldn’t leave his home for months.

Speaking about the December 2022 accident, Freddie told how he was “crying every two minutes” for weeks after, as well as having flashbacks and nightmares about the near death experience when he tried to sleep.

The former cricketer relives the pain in a new TV documentary which includes a video he filmed at home when his facial injuries were at their worst and he is seen badly scarred and still on edge.

With emotion in his voice, Freddie tells the camera: “Week and a half after my accident. Genuinely should not be here after what happened. This is going to be a long road back and I have only just started and I am struggling already. I need help. I really am not the best at asking for it. I need to stop crying every two minutes.”

He reached a settlement with the BBC last year, reportedly worth £9m. The payout was not funded by the TV licence fee, as BBC Studios is a commercial arm of the broadcaster.

Flintoff had joined BBC One’s Top Gear as a host in 2019 alongside Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris. But the show has now been axed following the accident.

In March 2023, the BBC apologised to Flintoff. At the time they said: In a statement, the BBC said: “We have sincerely apologised to Freddie and will continue to support him with his recovery.

“We understand this [halting the show] will be disappointing for fans, but it is the right thing to do, and we’ll make a judgement about how best to continue later this year.” The show has never returned.

Before becoming a big TV star, Flintoff retired from a career in cricket in 2009 having played 79 Tests, 141 one-day internationals and seven T20s for England. He played a key role in England’s Ashes successes of 2005 and 2009.

Trisha Goddard has addressed Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s ‘close relationship’ in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The TV host appeared on Loose Women today for her first interview since being evicted from the house, and revealed that Chris had “made a beeline for Ella” when he first entered the show.

Denise Welch wasn’t holding back as she asked Trisha whether Chris fancied JoJo. Trisha hesitated as she responded: “Does a barnacle fancy the rock to which it’s connected?”

She continued: “When Chris first came into the house he made a beeline for Ella. Ella is a very very pretty girl and what have you. Then JoJo came in with her energy and I felt for Ella because suddenly it was [head whips]. And it’s very very intense.”

Asked by Kaye Adams whether she thought Chris had a game plan, Trisha responded: “I mean, she’s 21 and he’s 31. And I said to him: ‘I know you’re 31 it says that on your passport but you’re actually, if I’m being generous, 19’.”

Trisha then went on to talk about JoJo’s level of fame over in the US, explaining how she can’t do anything without security.

The chat show icon revealed: “In the house, unexpectedly I think she found a freedom to be a kid, to be a child. She’s 21, she had an old head on young shoulders because of the business side. But on the other side she was very, very young.”

At the beginning of this week, JoJo was seen writing a secret message on Chris’ hand at night. The pair were then later punished for breaking one of Big Brother’s fundamental rules and were forced to speak only through a mega phone until further notice.

It’s not the first time Trisha has spoken out about Chris and JoJo’s friendship. During an interview on Late and Live she told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best: “I think there are lots of different reasons why people form alliances.

“I had a talk with Chris after that and Chris is a 31-year-old man in a 19-year-old’s body, he admitted that. He and JoJo have really connected.” She added JoJo could be “free” in the house and be herself, and that she and Chris “clicked”.

Shoppers have been racing to River Island to snap up a ‘stunning’ spotty dress after seeing it on Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge. Over the weekend, the former member of The Saturdays tried on several pieces from the high street favourite as part of her weekly ‘Faves’ series where she highlights her top fashion finds.

One of her selections – the Black Sleeveless Spot Mix Ruffle Maxi Dress – is the ideal choice for your big summer events, be it weddings, races or anything else in between. The 36-year-old said that she “loves the drama” it brings, with the playful polka dot print making it as trendy as it is timeless, reports OK!.

Posting on Instagram, Frankie penned: “One of our absolute faves this week. We LOVE the drama. Picture this at the races with a glass of champagne, or at a sunny wedding in Italy. Heaven. Polka dots are back this season and this hat is the perfect match. You could also rewear for your holiday.”

Priced at £69, it features a ruffle cap sleeve and V-neck, making it perfect for warmer weather, with a maxi length skirt that suits formal occasions beautifully. It’s available in sizes 6-18, though due to what we call the ‘Frankie effect’, now that the mum-of-two has been spotted in the style, it’s likely to sell out quickly, with size 14 already out of stock online.

The dress showcases two types of polka dot, a micro spot and a larger print, with a striking design that flatters the hips. Elsewhere, M&S has this Polka Dot V-Neck Lace Detail Midaxi Tea Dress for under £50. Or, for something a little more high end, Rixo’s Meg Leopard Midi Dress pairs polka dots with animal print, and costs £275.

However, Frankie’s fans seemed quite taken with the River Island number, commenting: “Love the black and white outfit. Especially the hat.” Another added: “You look stunning in all of the outfits and definitely could wear the black and white dress to a wedding,” with a third commenting: “I need that polka dot maxi, you look so chic.”

Loose Women host Kaye Adams was forced to cut off Trisha Goddard mid-interview as the show was running out of time

Due to the show’s tight schedule, Kaye Adams had to issue an apology on Loose Women after she interrupted a guest mid-sentence.

On Thursday (17 April), Kaye resumed her role as host of the popular daytime talk show, alongside panellists Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards, and Nadia Sawalha.

After chatting with Paul Sinha from The Chase, the Loose Women welcomed Celebrity Big Brother alum Trisha Goddard, who was set to divulge details about her stint in the famous house.

While discussing her cancer treatment and the support she has received from various organisations, Kaye had to step in and halt Trisha’s story.

Trisha was explaining: “Palliative care has moved on. It’s now about controlling the pain you might get and the side effects. There’s a minority of people who will do that. So, you are living with the things that pain you, that mean you can’t work,” when Kaye interjected.

“I am so sorry to interrupt, but I am so glad you got that out,” Kaye quickly said, before wrapping up the programme.

She then signed off, telling viewers to look forward to Brian Conley’s appearance on the show the following day, Friday (18 April).

During her time on Loose Women, Trisha opened up about her experiences inside the Celebrity Big Brother house and her journey through cancer treatment, reports Belfast Live.

Trisha became the second celeb to wave goodbye to the Celebrity Big Brother house this year, hot on the heels of ex-MP Michael Fabricant’s departure. Hollywood’s own Mickey Rourke was another person who exited the famous house due to inappropriate behaviour.

During her time on the show, the iconic chat show queen Trisha shared that she believed JoJo Siwa, the US Dance Moms sensation, clearly enjoyed a newfound “freedom” in the CBB residence after years under the public eye since childhood.

Intrigue has swirled around JoJo’s growing bond with Chris Hughes, Love Island’s heartthrob, stirring gossip inside and outside CBB circles.

Trisha let slip that the dynamics between Chris and JoJo were nothing short of “intense”, before mentioning that Chris initially hit it off with TOWIE favourite Ella Rae Wise before his rapport took off with JoJo.
