Reba McEntire was rescued from a historic building in Oklahoma after a staircase collapsed while she was touring the 100-year-old structure.

McEntire was reportedly on the second floor of the building with boyfriend Rex Linn when the ‘dilapidated stairs’ collapsed and left the group stranded.

Once on stable ground, Reba looked up and caught her jacket which was thrown out of the window.

‘Sure glad she and boyfriend Rex Linn are ok! While touring an old building, a staircase collapsed,’ Anderson shared on Twitter.

‘They were among seven people inside. Atoka’s finest came to the rescue. No one hurt, just some bumps and bruises.’

TMZ reported all involved were ‘mostly okay,’ but ‘one person was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.’

Officials told the outlet that ‘not only did the second story stairs topple down, but the ones leading up to the third story did as well’ and trapped others higher up.

Emergency Management Director Travis Mullins told the outlet that ‘the building was in the middle of being renovated when this happened and the dilapidated stairs were already scheduled to be replaced.’
