The Voice coaches’ salaries for Season 25 revealed from John Legend’s huge payday to Chance the Rapper’s modest earnings
THE VOICE coaches for season 25 are bringing in massive paychecks for their role on the NBC hit show.
The Voice has been on the air since April 2011 on NBC and started with four heavy-hitting coaches – Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine.

Over a decade later, the coach’s panel looks completely different.
The competition show is in its 25th season and despite it being a hit there are rumored to be budget cuts that could affect the coach’s salaries.
A source previously told The U.S. Sun that leaders in the network plan to “tighten spending” as they scrutinize the “talent budget.”
The insider said, “There is a substantial trimming of costs and ways of looking at not increasing spending” across program teams.
The source revealed that the wages for coaches are at the top of the spending sheets.
Still, it doesn’t seem like the budget cuts will affect every coach’s salary, but their paydays probably won’t be increasing.
THE CURRENT COACHES
That same source told The U.S. Sun: “Reba is getting around $13million a season and that is the higher end of the fee range for talent – and a very substantial sum.
“It’s understood there is no room for that figure to rise, so very quietly behind the scenes private talks are taking place with agents and talent about those deals.”
Reba McEntire, 68, has only been on the show for two seasons, but she’s already receiving one of the largest paychecks.
The other country coaches Dan + Shay work as a team and, according to Style Caster, they also make $13million.
John Legend has spent nine seasons on the show, and he’s also receiving $13million a season, as reported by OK.
Chance the Rapper as a relatively new coach and a single act will only receive $8million for the 25th season of the show.

PAST COACH SALARIES
Niall Horan was a coach of seasons 23 and 24, and he reportedly only earned $8million a season despite being a famed One Direction singer.
Blake, an original coach on The Voice, made a cool $13million a season.
Considering he was on the show for the first 23 seasons, the country singer walked away with almost $300million before taxes.

His wife, Gwen Stefani, sporadically appeared on the show for a total of eight seasons.
She made the usual $13million for most of them.
Singer Camila Cabello from the group Fifth Harmony followed in fellow band member Niall’s footsteps and only pulled in $8million for her appearance in season 22.

BIG SPENDER
There was one coach in the history of The Voice who made bank from the show.
In March 2021, Ariana Grande revealed she would be a coach on season 21 of the competition program.
She joined John, Blake, and Kelly Clarkson – who also cleaned up with a whopping $15million a season.
But the 7 Rings singer made more than double what other coaches have made.
It was reported she was paid $20 to $25million to appear in her season.
This made her the highest-paid coach in the history of the show even though she only appeared in 26 episodes.
