TERRIBLE thing between her relationship with Harry

Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star reveals what her relationship with Harry is really like

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry looked ‘very much in love and happy’ according to one of the Duchess of Sussex’s former co-stars

As the rift between Prince Harry and the Royal family shows no signs of healing, Meghan Markle remains his pillar of strength.

The Sussexes enthralled admirers during their recent trip to Nigeria, an unofficial Royal visit where they were seen as the epitome of a loving couple – a belief that also appears to be shared by one of Meghan’s former Suits colleagues.

At the Tony Awards this Sunday, Wendell Pierce, 60, gushed to PEOPLE about Harry and Meghan’s evident affection for each other when he reunited with them last year, despite the ongoing familial tensions.

“When [Meghan] came into town, she got an award last year, had a chance to say hello and wish she and Prince Harry well and wish the children well,” Pierce recounted to the magazine.

“They look very much in love and were very happy, so that’s the most important thing.”

Wendell, who played Meghan’s on-screen dad in the hit series Suits until 2019, reminisced about the joy of working with her and mentioned that they have stayed in touch since the show ended.

“I’ve gotten to see her just a few times since, and we’ve been able to reminisce and so it’s real, we have fond memories of working together,” the acclaimed actor said, reports the Mirror.

In the same conversation, Wendell expressed his surprise at the show’s sudden resurgence in popularity last year when a new generation of fans began binge-watching the series after it was added to Netflix.

Following this unexpected surge in viewership, it was announced earlier this year that a spinoff series, Suits LA, featuring Arrow star Stephen Amell, would welcome fans back into the world of Suits.

Meghan Markle Suits still

Speculation has been rife about whether the Duchess herself might consider reprising her iconic role as Rachel Zane, after the Duchess herself previously told Oprah Winfrey that she would “never say never” to returning to the role.

Adding to the speculation, the sentiment was also echoed by her former on-screen love interest Patrick Adams at this year’s Golden Globes.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the time, he said: “Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to LA. they gotta fix some stuff.”

He continued: “If we got the phone call, if I got the phone call, I’m ready to suit up again. I love the show, I love the character. And I loved working with all these people.”
