Reba McEntire Does a Spot-On Impression Of Cardi B: Watch
A new clip on Twitter shows the country singer has a knack for impersonations.
Reba McEntire is beloved in the country community for her vast catalog of music and endearing sense of humor. A new clip shows the country star also has a knack for impersonations: specifically, Cardi B.
In a short video posted to Twitter on March 5, McEntire is seen backstage on her phone. A man is heard in the background telling her, “Reebs, we’re ready for you.” She looks up and responds with Cardi B’s catchphrase for okay — “Okurrrr.” With a perfect rolled “r,” the country queen would no doubt make Cardi B proud.
McEntire mentioned Cardi B in her Twitter caption, writing, “There’s no U In Oklahoma, and that’s OKrrrrr with me…and @iamcardib!!!”
There’s no U In Oklahoma, and that’s OKrrrrr with me…and @iamcardib!!!

One fan pointed out that days earlier, Cardi B posed for a photo backstage at Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in front of an image of McEntire. Donning a pink bedazzled cowboy hat and a fringe leather jacket, the rapper was there to perform at NRG Stadium as part of Black Heritage Day where she sang for a crowd of over 75,000 people.
When McEntire’s not impersonating Cardi B, the singer is gearing up for the release of a new album as well as returning for the 16th time as host of the ACM Awards on April 7. McEntire’s forthcoming studio album, Stronger Than the Truth, will be available on April 5.
