Victoria Beckham’s plan to avoid Brooklyn and Nicola feud in Netflix series

EXCLUSIVE: Victoria Beckham will reportedly not address the ongoing Beckham family feud in her upcoming Netflix series as she wants to ‘shy away from family drama’

Victoria Beckham’s Netflix series is set to air giving an “exclusive behind-the-scenes look” at her business and family

The Beckham family feud has had us gripped but if you thought that Victoria was going to address the strained relations in her upcoming Netflix show, you’re going to be disappointed. Our sources tell us the Spice Girl will stay clear of the row in her hotly-anticipated reality series. “It’s already causing deep upset within the family so Posh has vowed not to allow details of the personal matter to be aired on TV to escalate any issues,” says our insider. Mum-of-four Victoria, 51, has had camera crews following her in recent months as part of a multi million pound deal with Netflix. The show focuses on her fashion achievements and career as well as balancing family life. During filming for the series, divisions have opened between eldest son Brooklyn, 26, wife Nicole, 30, his brother Romeo, 22, and his parents. It’s seen Brooklyn avoid all dad David’s recent 50th celebrations.

“Cameras have been following Victoria for nine months,” explained the source. “They have footage for potential use where Brooklyn and Nicole were present. They also have it from David’s parties and moments building up to the celebrations. It is unclear whether they will feature in the Netflix show.” Victoria and David celebrated his 50th birthday surrounded by his loving family and A-list pals at events in London, the Cotswolds and Paris. But for each of those big get togethers Brooklyn and his wife were absent. The Netflix insider says that “as far as we are aware” Brooklyn will feature in the show, as Victoria references her motherhood journey – but the family rift will be left alone. An insider said: “The drama within the family will not be addressed in any significant way. This has elements of a reality series, but it is not going to be the Real Housewives Of Beckham Manor! Cameras have followed Victoria around over the last few months, so to viewers it may become evident who was there and who was not.” David’s own production company Studio 99 is making the show so the Beckhams have a lot of control over the project. “David and Victoria want Brooklyn in their lives and would feel they’d not behaved fairly to air any dirty laundry in a show like this. Their stance is that they will shy away from any of these matters.” A clip for the upcoming series showed Posh explaining her decision to pivot from a successful music career into fashion. Teasing some of the drama which audiences are expected to see this autumn, Posh is seen facing disaster as one of her biggest fashion events after a downpour made the outside runway treacherous.

Despite the risk, she decides to proceed, cautioning her models about the treacherous runway. Cheering her on from the front row are her supportive husband David and their children.

Netflix promises “an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Victoria’s business, access to Victoria, her family, those closest to her and her fashion journey and including never-before-seen archive, the series will tell the story of Victoria’s reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand.“ It comes after the streamer enjoyed huge critical success and bagged an Emmy with David’s series about his astonishing football career. Becks revealed it took ages to convince his wife to sign up to do her own show.

The streaming giant’s documentary aims to reveal more than just Victoria’s success in the industry but also explore her motivations and challenges.

This intimate portrayal follows the successful Beckham documentary by Netflix, released in 2023, which chronicled David Beckham’s illustrious career, reports the Express.

David himself shared on the Today show that he encouraged Victoria to embark on her own Netflix venture.

He stated: “In my opinion, she was the star of mine. So I just thought, ‘This is the opportunity’.

“She’s been working on her brand for the last 18 years. She’s unbelievably hard working, and no one gets to see that. So I convinced her to let people actually see what she does every day and what goes into her business.”

He added, “She’s a very clever and hard-working lady, so I want people to see that.”
