Victoria Beckham confirms part in Jennifer Aniston’s ex Justin Theroux’s wedding

Victoria Beckham revealed she had a huge part to play in Justin Theroux’s wedding to Nicole Brydon Bloom. The 53-year-old actor, who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, tied the knot with his 30-year-old partner in an secret intimate ceremony in a beach town in Mexico.

This weekend, the iconic actor was seen looking happy with Nicole as they shared their first moments as a married couple. The couple enjoyed a small wedding, with the actor’s pit bull mix, Kuma, in attendance. He looked delighted in snaps shared online as he planted a kiss on her hand while they danced on the beach.

Nicole looked stunning in a flowing white gown and long train. The gorgeous dress was designed by none other than Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who said it was “an honour”. Victoria wrote on X: “Congratulations #NicoleBrydonBloom on your beautiful wedding to #JustinTheroux!

“Designing your gown was such an honour and it was incredible to see it come to life on your special day. All my love to you both. Kisses, Victoria.” Nicola also thanked Victoria on Instagram, saying she created “the most ethereal, dreamy wedding dress”. “I loved every minute of this day and every minute in this gown,” she added.

Nicole told Vogue magazine that the dress came about when Victoria “sweetly asked what I was planning to wear”. She got to know Posh Spice through her husband’s friendship with footballer David Beckham.

“I showed her a few of my (dress) options and she suddenly, and hilariously, started describing what she envisioned for my gown — something more ethereal, flowy, and light for the sand, with tulle and soft flowers —it sounded like a dream,” Nicola added. Justin revealed the couple weren’t “quite sure” if Victoria was “serious or not” about designing the dress.

Soon, Victoria was taking Nicole to fittings and the rest was history. The Gilded Age actress said: “I have always adored Victoria’s style and her vision was exactly what I was hoping for, so when she so generously offered to make my dress, I was so grateful and overjoyed. The dress was perfect — elegant and timeless while also youthful and just a little sexy.”

Before his relationship with Nicole, he was married to Jennifer. They began dating in 2011, after they both worked on the film comedy Wanderlust. They were engaged in August 2012, and married in a surprise ceremony at their LA home in August 2015 but by 2018 it was all over.

Jen spoke out about the end of the relationship to InStyle magazine seven years ago. “It’s pretty crazy. ‘The misconceptions are ‘Jen can’t keep a man,’ and ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.’ Or that I’m sad and heartbroken… First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors.”
