Ruth Langsford got herself into a bit of a mess as her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes returned home after packing on the PDA with his girlfriend in Ibiza.

The Loose Women star fumed after her broken blender spurted smoothie juice all over her very clean kitchen, the last things she needed after seeing ex looking loved up on his holiday. Ruth raged: “It’s not my day today!” as she posted a video of her new green worktop after her prep went badly wrong.

She had been making a heathy meal for her Monday ahead and wanted something fruity to drink. But things didn’t go to plan when she lost control of the appliance as her home got an unwanted make-over. It was a little light relief for Ruth after what must have been a difficult few days for her.

In snaps from his trip away, Irishman Eamonn, 64, could be seen grabbing Katie Alexander’s bum as they disembarked from their mediterranean cruise to spend time on the Spanish party island. They looked all loved up as he continued using his electric wheelchair, with plenty of support on hand from the 42-year-old.

The two seemed comfortable in each other’s company as they continued on their sunny break away from the temperamental weather of the UK, a luxury trip which was recently said to have left his estranged wife Ruth Langsford ‘gobsmacked’.

Ruth, still wearing her wedding ring, is yet to comment on the GB News star’s new relationship. But the mum-of-one is said to have hired a fierce lawyer as she prepares to divorce her husband, and star has reportedly hired Catherine Costley, who is a protegee of Baroness Fiona Shackleton.

Catherine has worked under the top divorce lawyer, who represented King Charles in his split from Princess Diana as well as Sir Paul McCartney. Ms Costley has said all women should have a “go bag” secret fund when exiting relationships quickly, according to the Sun.

Speaking of their romantic holiday, a source told The Sun: “The cruise is just the latest proof of their closeness. Katie has been telling pals she and Eamonn are going to be for keeps — and now everyone is starting to believe her.”

They added: “Eamonn’s zest for her — the latest being this all-expenses-paid trip — has wowed Ruth and pals. He has found a new lease of life for sure. Everyone is amazed.” Eamonn and his new girlfriend Katie first met in 2015 when her comment on a social media post generated a conversation between the pair.
