Prince Harry has shared a rare personal statement about his wife Meghan Markle following the launch of her new wellness brand, As Ever, and the couple’s new podcast series

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has been hogging the headlines recently with the launch of her new Netflix series, her As Ever brand, and her fresh podcast ‘Confessions of a Female Founder. ‘ Her triumphant return to social media earlier this year caused quite the stir in the press.

Despite the potential for jealousy amongst partners in such circumstances, Prince Harry is bursting with pride over his wife’s success. In a revealing chat with PEOPLE magazine, he openly expressed his complete backing for Meghan’s endeavours.

The Prince gushed: “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do. I’m incredibly proud.”

At the age of 40, the Duke of Sussex has been an unwavering pillar of strength during Meghan’s entrepreneurial ascent, and he has, for the first time since her brand hit the scene, shared the extent of his elation over her triumphs.

This show of confidence follows prior expressions of encouragement seen in Meghan’s own Netflix documentary series ‘With Love, Meghan. ‘ In the series’ finale, Harry popped up just long enough to drop by a celebratory brunch for Meghan’s business venture, steal a quick kiss, and proclaim: “You did a really great job. I love it”, reports the Express.

With family being Harry’s top priority, Meghan’s growing popularity and resurgence in the public eye since their 2020 departure from Royal duties makes it increasingly crucial for the Prince to win his UK court battle for state-funded security.

Fears for the safety of his wife and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have driven Harry’s relentless fight with the UK government to reinstate his state-funded security detail during UK visits, which was revoked when he chose to step down as a working Royal.

One of Harry’s core convictions is that the removal of security was a deliberate attempt to control him and Meghan, deterring them from leaving Royal life and moving to the US. Harry has admitted that coming to this realisation was “difficult to swallow”.

The tragic fate of his mother, Princess Diana, who died in a 1997 Paris car crash while being pursued by paparazzi, continues to haunt Harry. Notably, at the time of her death, she was only protected by private security.

Furthermore, Harry firmly believes that his father, King Charles, could easily intervene to reinstate his security and ensure his family’s safety. However, Charles’s inaction has only strained the relationship between father and son.

While the court appeal is still active, many specifics are withheld due to the sensitive nature of the case. However, it has been disclosed that Prince Harry has been profoundly disturbed by some revelations during the private hearings.

“People would be shocked by what’s being held back,” Harry remarked.

Nonetheless, despite these challenges, the Prince remains “cautiously optimistic” about reaching a favourable outcome in the near future.
