Piers Morgan’s son has shared the reason why is dad threatened to “cut him out of his will”. Piers is well-known for his successful journalism career which includes hosting Piers Morgan’s Life Stories and Piers Morgan Live, as well as Piers Morgan Uncensored.
His career means that he has managed to earn a huge net worth of around £20million. However, his son Spencer has now said that there’s one thing that would stop him inheriting his dad’s fortune.
Despite following in his dad’s footsteps and becoming a sports journalist himself, Spencer has said that several reality shows have approached him to take part.

Speaking to The Sun, Spencer said: “I’ve been asked to do SAS, Celebs Go Dating – stuff like that.” However, there is one big thing that’s holding him back.
He explained: “I’ve been asked for the last few years, but Dad said if I do any reality TV he will cut me out of the will. It’s always the deal. I have to make the right choice on that one. I’m A Celebrity is the only one I’ve never been asked to do.”
Spencer revealed that he has rejected multiple offers to be on Love Island, despite now being in a relationship. 30-year-old Spencer is the eldest of Piers’ sons, who he had with first wife Marion Shalloe.
The couple were married from 1991 until 2008 and they also had sons Stanley, 26 and Albert, 23. Piers then married his second wife journalist Celia Walden and they share daughter Elise, 13.
Despite Piers telling his son not to go on any reality shows, he has actually been on one himself. He won the US celebrity version of The Apprentice in 2008 which was fronted by Donald Trump.
Piers recently said that he thinks his own parents would “disown” him if he ever signed up for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! himself.
Speaking on Gyles Brandreth’s Rosebud podcast, he said: “One thing they always said to me was “’Don’t ever do the jungle, I’m A Celebrity’. I always remember this and last week I got a call from ITV ‘Could we tempt you to do the jungle?’
“And I went ‘There’s actually not enough money at ITV to get me to go in that jungle because my parents would disown me’. That for them was the red line.”
He confirmed that he would never be taking on the jungle by saying: “So, you won’t ever see me munching kangaroo testicles, I’m afraid.”
