Former TOWIE star Pete Wicks and his Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Jowita Przystal have been surrounded by romance rumours already as they declare they will make a big step

Strictly Come Dancing stars Pete Wicks and dancer Jowita Przystał have declared they will take their relationship to the next level by getting matching tattoos.

The former TOWIE star, 36, is competing in this year’s series of the BBC dance competition having been paired with professional Jowita, 30. Despite being just weeks into the new series, romance rumours are swirling between the pair thanks to their intense chemistry on and off the dancefloor.

Fans already think Pete has developed feelings for Jowita and his close pal Sam Thompson added more fuel to the speculation when he declared: “Pete’s in love.” Amid the rumours, the pair made an appearance on Loose Women together as they spilled on their dance progress.

While on the ITV show, panellist Janet Street Porter asked: “Is it true that you two are going to get matching tattoos if you win?” Pete replied: “Obviously, I have got a fair few tattoos so if we win then we are going to get a couple of glitterballs.” In response, Janet probed: “Pete, where will you put it?”

Pete cheekily quipped: “It may be a glitter ball.” They also revealed they will be dancing George of the Jungle for Music Week. His best friend Sam Thompson will be in the audience as Pete teased: “There’s a lot of hips in this and a loin cloth. We are going to have fun this week, you told me to let go so I will let go.”

Pete’s best mate Sam has even claimed the pair are “in love”. In an appearance on This Morning last week the Made In Chelsea star declared: “I think they are in love,” but he quickly added that he actually thinks their relationship is platonic. But digging a deeper hole, Sam said: “He cares about her so much, the way he looks at her, I’ve never seen it before. I just want to see him happy, he is one of the best people I know.”

Jowita has also been a guest on Pete and Sam’s Staying Relevant podcast. A teaser for the episode was posted on social media with the caption: “Sam’s jealousy is 100% under control.” In the clip, Sam joked he was “third wheeling” and mentioned that Pete was looking into Jowita’s eyes. The dance pair having a private interaction which prompted him to recall he’d called her a “ray of sunshine” in her yellow waistcoat.

When they look at each other, Sam noticed Jowita twitched her nose, before he questions her: “What the f*** was that?!” Jowita replied: “We have a code.” Sam reacted: “Well we’ve got a code – headbutt.” Jowita added: “Sometimes we don’t need to speak, we just look at each other and we know.”

In response to the clip, one fan declared: “This just makes me ship them even more. So cute.” Another teased: “Pete is in loveeeeeeeeeee.” Whilst another viewer wrote in their response: “The way Pete looks at Jowita. Somebody has a crush.”
