Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon has revealed that Oasis fans have been treated by the band after camping outside Cardiff’s Principality Stadium ahead of their big reunion
Oasis surprised its fans who’ve been camped outside Cardiff’s Principality Stadium ahead of their reunion with a once-in-a-lifetime gift. Those fans who had been out on the streets of Cardiff were given wristbands to access the front pit in the standing crowd, meaning they get the chance to be up close with Noel and Liam Gallagher.
ITV Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the ITV show that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage.
“Some of the more passionate fans with tickets have been queuing up at different sections of the stadium since yesterday because they want to get in there as soon as the doors open at 5pm and rush to the stage,” he told the ITV show.

“It turns out that the band and the band’s management had noticed the fact that they were there because all of a sudden, on the other side of the stadium, security rounded up the fans and moved them.”
Nick added that he originally feared that the fans had been kicked out by security. “We were at first wondering, ‘I hope they’re not being turfed out, they’ve got tickets,’ but actually security told me that the band spotted them and they’ve been moved to a different area – a VIP area.
“They’ve had a massive upgrade on their tickets, which is fantastic for them. They’ve left here deliriously happy.” It comes just days after the band reportedly refused to give out free tour tickets to their team working behind the scenes.
A source told the Mail: “The crew will be travelling around the country with the band, setting up the venues, and will be on hand throughout the concerts in case they are needed. They’ll be away from their family and are usually given tickets to invite them down to join them at one of the shows.
“But the Gallagher brothers have banned any free tickets being given out. The crew are all fuming. Many of them have toured with other big-name artists and have never known anything like it. All Oasis seem to care about is making as much money as they can. Is this about fans, or is the truth that it’s all about the money?”
The famous brothers are reuniting today on stage for the first time in 16 years, kicking off their nationwide tour in Cardiff this evening. Ahead of the big gig, some fans have heard the pair rehearsing their setlist – with one on Reddit revealing that they’ll be playing 24 songs.
They claimed the setlist kicks off with an intro of F****n’ in the Bushes then Hello, Acquiesce, Morning Glory followed by Some Might Say. Cigarettes & Alcohol is next as Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It, Bring It On Down follows. It is believed Noel will take on Talk Tonight, Half the World Away, Little By Little.
How to buy Oasis tickets now
Oasis tickets are available right now from a number of online retailers. This includes both official and resale websites.
Fans will likely want to peruse Ticketmaster’s wares first, as they have been touted as the original seller of the band’s tour tickets. However, the online media giant has not had any tickets for some time.
And, at the time of writing, only people with allocated codes can buy tickets. Regardless, here’s the link:

Otherwise, resale websites are where fans ought to be looking the most. Oasis have signposted Twickets as their official resale websites, however, they have not had tickets for a very long time.
As a result, fans have flocked to the likes of viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub instead. And, at the time of writing, some Oasis tickets are being sold for around £200 each on viagogo. Below, we have broken down all the options Oasis-lovers have to buy tickets right now. This ranges from official retailers to VIP sellers and resale websites.
viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
