I’m A Celebrity winner Danny Jones and former co-star Maura Higgins were spotted at a BRIT Awards after-party in London last night following the awards ceremony

I’m A Celebrity co-stars Danny Jones and Maura Higgins were seen to be apparently kissing at a BRIT Awards party.

McFly member Danny, 38, and former Love Island star Maura, 34 – who were in the jungle together last year – both attended the awards ceremony at the O2 Arena in London last night. They were later spotted leaving at an after-party together. The pair were joined at the same party by the likes of Sam Thompson, Pete Wicks, Olivia Attwood, Calum Scott and Oti Mabuse.

While Danny attended the awards at the O2 Arena with his bandmate Tom Fletcher, he was the only member of his band in attendance at the glitzy event.

It’s now been claimed that he and Maura shared a “drunken kiss” at Universal Music’s after-party at 180 Studios on the Strand in the city. Footage shared by the Sun appears to show Danny, who has been married to his wife Georgia Horsley since 2014, kissing Maura inside the venue. A source told the outlet that they “seemed to be having a great time,” adding: “They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.”

The source said that they “seem to have a close friendship” after meeting on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year – which Danny won – and were “talking and laughing for ages”. It’s been reported that they spent 90 minutes together at the event as other guests partied around them. A source told the outlet that he appeared to be giving Maura advice and put his arm around her shoulder at one point. They added that she also laid her head on his shoulder as they talked with pals.

It’s claimed that shortly before 3am this morning, Danny and Maura walked into the foyer of the venue together, where their alleged kiss was filmed. The pair are said to have then grinned as they were photographed leaving alongside former co-star Oti. The pair are said to have been seen laughing at Sony Music’s after-party at Nobu Hotel an hour later. A source told the outlet that they were “still grinning” and “joking about” there.

Danny has been married to his wife Georgia, with whom he shares his seven-year-old son Cooper, since 2014. Maura had recently been romantically linked to Pete Wicks but it was reported last month that they had parted ways. Maura and Pete are said to have avoided bumping into each other on the BRIT Awards red carpet.

The Mirror has approached both Danny and Maura’s representatives for comment.

Danny and Georgia have been married since 2014, having got together four years earlier. The pair tied the knot at a beautiful ceremony in North Yorkshire, with Danny saying at the time that his “legs shook” when he saw Georgia walking down the aisle. He said: “When I saw Georgia, I couldn’t really take it. My legs shook. It was the most amazing view I’ve ever seen.”

The pair also share son Cooper together, who was born in January 2018. Danny’s family was a huge support to him when he was in the I’m A Celebrity jungle last year, with the pair flying out to support him.

Speaking at the time about Danny’s hopes for the jungle, she said: “Danny was really adamant that he wanted to make Cooper proud and show him that even if you’re frightened, you can still be brave.

“Cooper knows that Danny is scared of a lot of things – he hates creepy crawlies and eating challenges and things like that. I’m the one who does any type of rescuing in the house – if there’s a spider, it’s my job! He’s doing it all with a smile in the jungle … Cooper has watched it occasionally on the night, but usually it’s the next morning. He is absolutely loving it, but he is starting to miss his daddy.”
