Heart FM star Mark Wright was gushing with his praise for co-presenter Olly Murs after the singer had announced that his wife Amelia was expecting their second child.

Olly and Amelia have just celebrated the first birthday of their daughter Maddy and have now announced that she will be having a sibling. Speaking on their Heart FM show, Mark told Olly: “I love you mate and I love your whole family, I am absolutely buzzing for you.”

Olly, 40, was delighted with Mark’s excitement and referenced Mark’s current place in parenthood, after he recently welcomed a first child with wife Michelle Keegan. Olly replied: “So, I am going to be at the start soon.” Mark joked that he would soon be winding up his co-presenter: “You’re going to be where I was the other week, so I can make fun of you having sleepless nights”

There has been plenty of congratulations to Olly and Amelia, with the Heart FM Instagram page posting a video of the pair talking about the pregnancy. The radio station captioned the clip with: “Massive congrats to @ollymurs and @amelia.murs on the exciting news! We can’t wait for Maddy to have a sibling.”

Mark had kicked off his regular Heart FM show with Olly by declaring “It’s Easter weekend, baby “, stressing the last word and prompting co-presenter Olly to respond: “I see what you did there.” Speaking to Mark on the show, a still-delighted Olly said it has “been a week,” and added that the news had come as something of a shock, before emotionally sharing: “We just want to grow our little family.”

He explained to the Mark, who recently became a dad for the first time with wife Michelle Keegan: “You know you have those weeks where you just can’t tell anyone? And it’s been really exciting news for us both, a shock, we didn’t expect it to happen this quick, but amazing!”

Mark was full of supportive words for Olly, saying that he and Amelia have been “the best parents ever” to their daughter Madison, and the fact that they will be giving her a little sibling is “just sensational.”

The news broke after Olly, 40, posted an intimate family video to Instagram that showed Amelia and himself walking with one-year-old daughter Madison. As Olly lifted up his little girl and put her on his shoulders, the words “Big Sis” could be seen on the back of her top.

“We’re so egg-cited to share this..… Another Baby Murs on the way,” he wrote. To confirm the news, Amelia revealed a set of baby scans.

Olly told Mark that it had been hard to contain his excitement, but added that he was completely thrilled, and it felt like the right time to announce their news this weekend.
