Loose Women’s Linda Robson gives ‘stressful’ update on house move after divorce

Loose Women panellist Linda Robson has opened up about life after her divorce from husband Mark Dunfold after 33 years of marriage, admitting things have been “stressful”

Loose Women star Linda Robson has made a candid admission as she prepares for life after her heart-breaking divorce.

The 66-year-old announced her split from husband Mark Dunford last year, over 33 years after the pair married in 1990. At the time she said “enough is enough”, admitting the pair had “simply grown apart” over the years.

It left Linda looking to move out of their period two-bedroom family home in Islington, aiming to move closer to their two children Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28. When asked if she had moved yet, Linda told Woman: “No, I’m still looking. Hopefully, I will find somewhere.”

The star admitted it has been a stressful period, adding: “It certainly will be a new chapter when I do move.” Previously, Linda admitted that she and Mark “never had that much in common” but says they stayed together for their children.

The divorce comes after a tough few years for Linda in which she has endured a breakdown and a struggle with drinking and OCD that left her on suicide watch. Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “I gave my family the worst time. I still find it hard to forgive myself for that. I’d always been the strong one. Suddenly, they all had to look after me.

“I felt so bad for what I’d done to everyone who loved me. My family would come and visit me on Sundays instead of us all at home having a roast together. It was the worst time of my life, ever.”

Now, back to her old self, Linda has seen her career reach new successes as a panellist on ITV’s popular daytime show. She added: “I love being on the panel, it’s like working with your mates every day.”

Linda also admits she has been contacted by producers from Celebs Go Dating, but says her children asked her not to do the show. She told Woman that she “wouldn’t be looking for a date” but did want to meet people.
