On Monday’s instalment of Loose Women, ITV viewers tuned in to watch a very special Oscars-themed episode.
Loose Women’s Denise Welch was left emotional during Monday’s episode as the ITV star paid tribute to someone very special in her life. During the show, the panel was inspired by the most recent Oscars by wearing their most glamorous dresses.
Detailing the best supporting actor and actress category, Ruth Langsford told viewers it made the panel think about who was the biggest support in their own lives.
Denise Welch told her co-stars she was going to pick her husband, Lincoln. She said: “For a couple who met many years ago in a nightclub at six in the morning, that doesn’t open until four.
“We got sober together, we’ve been sober for 13 years this year and we’ve been married for 12. He is my rock and my best friend, and I couldn’t live without him.”
Denise was visibly moved while speaking about her husband as she abruptly stopped speaking as the audience burst into applause.

However, the ITV star was already moved to tears after her co-star Ayda Field paid special tribute to her mum, Gwen, who is currently battling cancer.
She said: “My mum is here, I’m very grateful that my mum is here. For anyone who watches the show regularly, you will have heard me talk about my mum and her battle with cancer right now.
“My mum has always been my best friend, my fiercest rock, my sounding board, my steady eddy, my bestie. As you get older, the roles kind of change in how you navigate-

Ayda’s mother Gwen made an appearance on Monday’s Loose Women
Although as she saw her mum getting emotional in the audience, Ayda told her she was going to make her cry as well. The Loose Women star added: “I’m just so grateful, even in this chapter, my mum is teaching me the most profound, beautiful lessons and I just feel very grateful for you mummy, you’re my hero.”
Ayda got up from her spot on the panel to go and give her mum a hug on the studio floor as everyone applauded. The ITV host explained her mum had been wearing a hat earlier that day because she didn’t like to show she has no hair.

Ayda shared a special moment with her mum on the ITV showShe added: “Actually, I think she looks so beautiful the way she is.” Denise was touched by seeing Ayda’s mum in the studio as she said: “Sorry, that just got me there because of my mum.”
Elsewhere on the show, Kelly Brook paid tribute to her husband, Jeremy Parisi, who surprised her on air. He appeared on the show holding a bouquet of roses as Kelly joked: “Thank god I chose you!”
