Loose Women viewers were left stunned when Linda Robson dropped a surprise revelation on the show – she has an incredible link to a major Hollywood star
Linda Robson has revealed a huge family link to Hollywood star Anne Hathaway on Loose Women and viewers can’t quite believe it.
The Loose Women favourite, 67, told the panel that her son, Louis, wrote a song about Arsenal because the whole family are all avid supporters of the football team and the song ended up going viral – with Anne, 42, even hearing it and singing it to her millions of Instagram and TikTok followers.
“My son Louis wrote a song – because we are all Arsenal supporters – and my son wrote a song. It wasn’t about Arsenal, it was more about North London where we live, and then the Arsenal supporters picked up on it and it’s gone absolutely mad,” she told viewers.
“Now 60,000 or 70,000 fans are all singing his song over the Arsenal stadium and Anne Hathaway, who I never had a clue was a supporter, is singing it.”

Anne may be best known for her blockbuster film roles, but recently, the Hollywood A-lister has been turning heads for an entirely different reason – her passionate support for Arsenal Football Club.
The star of The Devil Wears Prada and The Dark Knight Rises is a fully-fledged Gooner, and she’s not keeping it under wraps.
In fact, Anne has been taking to TikTok to belt out North London Forever, Arsenal’s emotional anthem, with all the gusto of a Londoner herself. “The group chat is going off. ‘Declan is the man of the day’, I agree mum,” she shared in one post – proving Arsenal fever has taken over the Hathaway household.
Her football allegiance came into full view after she shared a spirited rendition of the anthem following Arsenal’s 3-0 dismantling of Real Madrid in the Champions League. While it’s not entirely clear when her Arsenal obsession began, clues suggest this isn’t just a recent fad.
Anne Hathaway cheers after hearing Arsenal scored a goal(Image: Interview Magazine)
Back in April 2024, during a press tour for The Idea of You, Anne and co-star Nicholas Galitzine – also a die-hard Arsenal fan -found themselves distracted mid-interview by live match updates.
“One-nil, Trossard!,” Galitzine exclaimed, to which Anne beamed: “Oh I love you,” then quickly added: “Sorry, we’re both fans of the same team, and there’s a match going on right now, and during our last interview they scored.”
The goal they were celebrating was of course Leandro Trossard’s against Wolves in Arsenal’s 2-0 win on April 20, 2024. Trossard even took notice, sending her a message: “Keep supporting us and hopefully see you soon at the Emirates.”
Despite the warm invite, it seems Anne has yet to make her pilgrimage to the Emirates Stadium.
Prior to that interview clip surfacing, there was little public trace of her being a Gunners supporter, but recent months have shown her fandom rising alongside the team’s Champions League charge.
Her love for the club now seems undeniable. Just weeks ago, she posted a photo in a red Arsenal shirt after Bukayo Saka’s comeback against Fulham, captioning it: “Welcome back #7.”
