Liam Gallagher to be grandad as daughter dating Liverpool FC star shares baby news

Liam Gallagher’s daughter Molly Moorish-Gallagher has announced that she’s expecting a baby with Liverpool footballer Nat Phillips in a post on social media this week

Liam Gallagher is set to become a grandfather. The Oasis legend’s daughter Molly Moorish-Gallagher has shared that she is pregnant, with the news prompting an outpouring of supportive messages.

Molly, 27, the daughter of Liam and Lisa Moorish revealed that she is expecting a baby with her partner, footballer Nat Phillips, 28, on Instagram this afternoon. Alongside an emoji depicting a pregnancy, she wrote on the platform: “Bulking season.” Her post included a video of the couple posing together whilst she cradled her baby bump.

The post also included a series of photos related to her pregnancy, including some of her showing her bump. Another gave a glimpse at baby clothes which had been bought, with various items seen laid out on a sheet in the photo.

The couple were met with congratulatory messages from fans on the platform too. Someone wrote: “Aww congratulations to you both.” Another said: “Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations Molly! Wishing you all the happiness.”

Molly is the eldest of singer-songwriter Liam’s four children. Liam had an affair with her mother Lisa whilst in a relationship with his first wife Patsy Kensit, now 57, and he was estranged from his daughter for a number of years. He’s however said to have reconnected with Molly in 2018.

Liam is also a parent to Lennon Gallagher, 25, with his ex-wife Patsy and Gene, 23, with his second wife, Nicole Appleton, 50. Liam – who is currently engaged to Debbie Gwyther – shares his youngest child Gemma Gallagher, 12, with Liza Ghorbani.

Molly was first romantically linked to footballer Nat in 2021. She ‘coonfirmed’ their relationship the following year. Since then, Liverpool player Nat has spoken about Liam, who is known as a supporter of Manchester City.

Speaking about playing for a rival team, Nat told the Herald in 2023: “We’ve never really got into that. We have obviously met but only a few times.” He added: “Every time I’ve met him, he’s been fine with me, which is ideal as a son-in-law.”
