Katie Price has opened up about her mortifying pantomime blunder which left her ‘so p***ed off’. The former glamour model, 46, is set to hit the stage with 90s TV icon Bobby Davro next week and she will take to the stage for two performances of the pantomime Pinocchio on April 14 at The Elgiva Theatre in Chesham.

On the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, the mum-of-five delved into her panto horror story alongside her younger sister Sophie – and a very special guest – her son Harvey, 22. The TV star explained that she has had the busiest week of her life rehearsing for the upcoming pantomime shows, but added that it hasn’t all gone to plan.

Dishing the dirt to her listeners, Katie said that the last time her family came to see her during her festive season panto, she made an almighty blunder. The star confessed: “I’ve been in the full swing of panto, and as you know, I am so p***ed off.

“The only time that the whole family have got together in all these years to watch me in panto, was the only panto where I forgot my words. I so angry that my mind just went blank. I think it was the nerves because my whole family were there.”

“The audience wouldn’t have noticed because I just said whatever, because obviously I know the story but I was so p****ed off. But I have re-invited you all to come to watch the Croydon panto instead where I know I’ll be good.”

Over the festive period, Katie sparked howls of laughter alongside Atomic Kitten legend Kerry Katona, 44, as they starred as the ugly sisters in a production of Cinderella. Audiences attending the festive stage show at Northwich Memorial Court in Cheshire were delighted as they pop culture icons hammed it up on stage and entertained locals.

“We are delighted to announce that Katie Price and Casualty’s Amanda Henderson will be sharing the role of Fairy across the dates of this year’s Easter Panto tour. They will join the previously announced casting of Bobby Davro as Stromboli plus Easter Panto favourites Ryan Greaves, Kate Salmon and Phyl Harries.”

Katie also shared the announcement via her own Instagram page and reacted to the news by posting a string of red heart emojis alongside the update.

Fans shared their excited to see the star back on stage – and flooded the casting announcement post to share their intention to book tickets and see her in the flesh. One gushed in the comments: “Ooh I can’t wait she was amazing in cinderella.” And another wrote: “She be fabulous in it.”
