Jojo Siwa opens up on major change she made for Chris Hughes amid romance rumours

Celebrity Big Brother star Jojo Siwa appeared on Sunday Brunch this weekend.

Jojo Siwa has opened up on a major change she has made for fellow Celebrity Big Brother star Chris Hughes, as romance rumours continue to swirl.

The singer was making an appearance on Channel 4’s hit culinary show, Sunday Brunch on Sunday (June 1). The weekend programme hosted by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer featured an array of guests, including Adolescence star Ashley Walters, Suzi Ruffell, Gemma Whelan, Dominic Skinner, ALT BLK ERA alongside the former Celebrity Big Brother star.

There were some slightly awkward exchanges in the opening stage of the show as the hosts engaged with their guests. This included debating whether or not summer had officially started in the UK. June 1 marks the meteorological start of summer but the panel decided to debate this.

Before beginning any cooking segment, Tim Lovejoy decided to have a chat with a number of the guests. This included asking about Ashley Walters experience filming Netflix hit Adolescence and acknowledging that ALT BLK ERA were making their live television debut.

He also asked about Jojo Siwa’s ‘foray into the UK’ and acknowledged that she had been ‘living in our newspapers’ ever since her appearance in the ITV reality series Celebrity Big Brother. While on the show, the former Dance Moms star got close with former Love Islander Chris Hughes.

Tim acknowledged that there had been “lots of gossip” about the pair. They have been pictured numerous times ever since their time on the show had come to an end.

Jojo surprisingly acknowledged that there is actually one major change that has occurred in her life as a result. She admitted: “Chris has made me into a Sunderland fan. Ha’way the lads!”

Referencing Tim’s black and white top she added: “He would not be happy with the colours you are wearing right now.”

Asking her about Sunderland’s recent playoff success and promotion to the Premier League, Jojo decalred: “Oh baby, we’ve been waiting eight years. I’ve been singing the songs with my arms out. A fan actually made us matching bracelets but they were black and white.”

She continued: “Chris said he wasn’t sure he could wear it because it’s Newcastle colours. So this sweet fan actually made us new ones but in Sunderland colours.”

Cheekily, Tim then asked if Sunderland would be able to win the Premier League title next season. After a brief hesitation, Jojo quipped: “Oh – Yes!”

Jojo was actually spotted in a bedazzled Sunderland kit during a recent concert in London.
