ITV This Morning fans ‘switch off’ just minutes into show with major complaint
This Morning viewers were quick to criticise the show for their opening scenes this morning, as fans threatened to ‘switch off’ the programme.

This Morning’s audience vowed to switch channels as Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary performed an Oasis tribute. As Oasis’ Liam and Noel Gallagher prepare to launch their reunion tour in Wales, Alison and Dermot began the show by impersonating the renowned brothers with their iconic parkas and sunglasses as they lip-synced to Wonderwall.
Fans were left unimpressed “Never thought I’d say…Bring back Richard and Judy.” Another was tempted to jump away from traditional TV, posting: “Let’s see….wonder what’s on Netflix?”
Anothr social media user said: “Absolutely Bonkers! !” alongside another who shared a snapshot of a “switch off” button, provocatively asking: “#thismorning are all programmes on ITV opening today with the presenters dressed as Oasis?” A particularly vexed viewer bemoaned further reasons being provided to evade the programme, remarking “Just when they couldn’t give me any more reasons to avoid the show like the return of the plague…” and yet another tersely venting their irritation with: “FFS.”

Once they had cast aside their Gallagher disguises, Alison greeted the viewers by declaring: “Happy Friday! I’m very excited!” Dermot, admiring Alison’s ensemble complete with a bucket hat, praised her unique style: “You’re the only person I’ve ever seen look good in a bucket hat. No one looks good in a bucket hat.
He continued, speaking directly to the avid Oasis fans: “Oasis fans, you can stop crying because Liam and Noel have officially decided to stop Looking Back In Anger and get back together.
“After 16 years apart, today the band will finally roll with it on stage once again, kicking off their first stop on their comeback tour in Cardiff tonight,” Alison declared.
