ITV Loose Women interrupted as phone rings during live broadcast

Loose Women was halted as a phone started ringing in the audience during the live broadcast, with panellist Myleene Klass left telling the audience “it’s the lawyers”

The latest episode of Loose Women was unexpectedly disrupted live on air during the ITV daytime show.

Jane Moore, who was hosting the panel alongside Linda Robson, Myleene Klass and Brenda Edwards on Monday (April 28), had to deal with an unexpected interruption when a mobile phone started ringing in the studio.

Myleene lightened the mood by joking: “It’s the lawyers” which left the studio audience and her co-stars in fits of laughter.

Jane later addressed the incident, saying: “I think we’ve sorted out the phone.

“That’s the perils of live television which we were talking about earlier.”

This comes after fans expressed their disappointment over a recent episode of Loose Women, reports Belfast Live.

Beyoncé Knowles’ mum, Tina Knowles, was a guest on Friday’s (April 25) show, where she discussed her new memoir, Matriarch, and her challenging cancer diagnosis.

However, as Tina spoke about the “importance” of friendship, some viewers took to social media to voice their complaints.

One viewer vented on X: “Omg, a pre-record! #LooseWomen – the way you promo’d that should be viewed as the equivalent of clickbait…. (I’m turning over out of principle).”

Another commented: “Sorry but @CharleneWhite should have done the interview with #tinaknowles alone. Jane sucked the energy out of the room! #LooseWomen.”

A third commenter didn’t hold back when they said: “God, you can tell Jane was disinterested in Tina Knowles, and her frostiness was palpable. Also, what was with Coleen and her catty comment?”.

The same person went on to suggest: “Clearly, these women don’t like to celebrate successful women from different backgrounds to them.”
