EastEnders viewers were left in stitches last night after spotting two major photoshop blunders on the BBC One soap – involving the late Martin Fowler as well as Teddy Mitchell

EastEnders fans have taken to social media to point out two big photoshop blunders that have left viewers in stitches.

Last night’s episode saw Barney Mitchell drop a major bombshell on his dad Teddy, revealing that girlfriend Sharon had secretly slept with her ex-husband Grant. However, fans were distracted by a framed photograph of Teddy and Barney, where the pair are wearing the exact same clothes as they were in the scene

“Awwwww what a beautiful framed family photo from the past (taken & priunted out about 30 minutes before this scene was filmed in the very same costumes! #EastEnders,” one viewer wrote alongside the photograph, with a laughing emoji and skull emoji.

Another viewer wrote: “That is some INCREDIBLE attention to detail. Bravo,” while a third commented several crying laughing emojis.

That wasn’t the only oversight that featured in last night’s episode, with fans also creasing up after spotting a clearly photo-shopped photograph of Martin Fowler at the Champions League final.

In the scene, Billy Mitchell, Howie Danes and Harvey Monroe are reminiscing about their late pal Martin – who died from wounds sustained in the Queen Vic collapse during the live episode. The trio are looking over old photos of Martin when the camera zooms in on one particular snap.

“Yeah, Martin was DEFINITELY at the Champions League Final when that photo was taken #EastEnders,” one viewer sarcastically wrote. Meanwhile, another pointed out that the character would have been in the midst of harrowing drama in Albert Square at the time of the final.

“Just went on YouTube. He looks quite happy in the pic considering Bex slept rough a couple of nights before and he had a big bust up with Kush the day before,” a viewer said, while another highlighted: “Howie also talking like he was there; it happened in 2019!

A fourth had some suggestions, adding: “They could have at least made the effort to photoshop a spurs shirt on him or something I mean come on @bbceastenders,” with a crying laughing face.

Earlier this week, EastEnders confirmed that there’s a major murder twist set to hit the BBC soap, with Nicola Mitchell caught up in the disappearance of Harry’s ex Shireen.
