EXCLUSIVE: Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz’s rumoured fallout with his famous parents David and Victoria has showed no signs of slowing down as they reportedly tried to mend damage

Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have been left “devastated” that his parents David and Victoria are “picking sides” in the alleged family fallout. The Beckhams have been rocked by their very public feud, rumours which have gathered pace over David’s 50th celebrations.

Both Brooklyn and Nicola shocked fans, as well as the famous family, by appearing to snub all of his events for the milestone. What is said to have made it worse for the football icon was that the couple had flown into London from their Los Angeles home for the big day.

Rumours quickly spread over the cause of their apparent fallout, with fingers being pointed to both Nicola as well as Romeo Beckham’s new girlfriend Kim Turnbull. Brooklyn and Nicola skipped various parties over the course of last week, including a family bash in the Cotswolds, a trip to France and a London celebration.

Kim started dating Brooklyn’s younger brother Romeo in November and appeared at all of David’s celebrations. David and Victoria’s youngest son Cruz was also accompanied by his girlfriend Jackie Apostel at the events.

There were reports suggesting Brooklyn and Kim once dated. She previously dated Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco, who was pals with Brooklyn at the time.

However, sources have claimed there was never any romance between Kim and Brooklyn. Eyes have since turned to Brooklyn’s wife Nicola, who the famous family reportedly want nothing to do with.

There have been claims Nicola has a pattern of starting arguments before family events with her husband pulling out from attending. Reports have claimed Romeo is upset by the situation as Kim is taking the blame.

Yet, Nicola and Brooklyn have reportedly also been left hurt by the fallout. Brooklyn reportedly did intend on going to David’s birthday celebrations before making a major U-turn.

It was claimed that he had wanted to meet his famous dad “privately” in an effort to avoid Kim as the couple “have a problem with her”. However, they were allegedly told they should attend the family gathering with everyone rather than ‘grabbing a quick coffee or breakfast’ with the dad-of-four.

A source close to the situation has now told the Mirror : “Nicola encourages Brooklyn to see his family and is usually the reason Brooklyn does see his family. They are both devastated. They cannot believe that Victoria & David refused to see them privately after they travelled all the way to London specifically to try to repair the relationship.”

They added: “As parents, it’s shocking that Victoria & David are behaving this way… instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone.”

Romeo and Kim made their romance public in November. Brooklyn and Nicola had long shown their support to the former footballer on social media by liking his posts, however it all stopped since the time he got with Kim.

A source connected to the family previously claimed to the Mirror: “Brooklyn not turning up was a real blow to David. Brooklyn was close with his dad growing up, but he is married now.

“His wife Nicola is older and confident in her own right, and so there is distance between Brooklyn and his parents. It has become a problem and not something they can keep private because of the way the family uses social media. Things have escalated in recent months, and there is a very obvious rift that David and Victoria would love to heal.”

Sources have also claimed to The Sun that Brooklyn “flew to London with the sole intention of seeing his family and celebrating his dad’s birthday. He suggested going for breakfast or a coffee but was told the only chance to see the family would be at one of their lavish parties which Kim would likely be at, so he refused.”

However, a source said Kim, 24, did not go to David’s black-tie dinner owing to her work commitments. A separate source said: “This feels very performative. Brooklyn sent a text but it felt like boxticking, knowing they’d be asked about it.”

A representative for David refused to comment. The Mirror has contacted Victoria and Brooklyn’s representatives for comment.

Just yesterday, David posted a sweet message for his son Brooklyn. David shared a series of photographs on Instagram documenting a fishing and camping holiday with his two younger sons, writing alongside the post: “Six months ago planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th. Was so much fun.” He also then wrote: “You were missed Brooklyn.”
