McFly singer Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley have reportedly held ‘crunch talks’ after he was filmed sharing a kiss with Maura Higgins following the BRIT Awards

Under-fire Danny Jones and his wife reportedly held crunch talks amid his drunken kiss with Maura Higgins.

The McFly singer, 38, stunned fans this weekend when a clip of him getting close to the Love Island star, 34, after the BRIT Awards emerged. They appeared to share multiple kisses following the music award ceremony at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night as they headed to a swanky bash together.

Danny, who has been married to his wife Georgia Horsley since 2014 and shares son Cooper with, appeared to kiss Maura at Universal Music’s after-party at 180 Studios on the Strand in the city. The pair both starred in the latest series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, as Danny was crowned King of the Jungle.

It’s claimed the couple are “keen to move on” from the scandal after discussing Danny’s naughty kiss. “This saga has been embarrassing and Danny had a lot of explaining to do,” a source claims.

On Saturday night, Danny and Maura were reportedly seen chatting and laughing for a significant amount of time at the event. A source suggested that Danny was offering Maura advice and at one point, he put his arm around her shoulder, and she rested her head against him while talking with friends.

Speaking to The Sun, a source claims Danny and Georgia – who have reportedly stayed away from their London home amid the scandal – have spoken about the kiss. “They are keen to just move past it and get on with their lives,” the insider claims. “They’ve been away for a few days and they are focused on being a family unit. Danny and Georgia are both committed to each other and are moving on with their lives.”

Danny has been married to Georgia since 2014, and the couple share a seven-year-old son. Maura was recently linked to TOWIE star Pete Wicks, but they split last month. Despite both attending the BRITs, Maura and Pete reportedly managed to avoid crossing paths at the red carpet, ceremony, and afterparties.

The singer took to Instagram on the night to share one photo with his followers. He posed alongside YouTube and Britain’s Got Talent star KSI and his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher. Danny captioned the post: “The collab you neeeeeeeed.” However, fans have since taken to the comments to slam the singer following reports of the kiss.

One commented: “Then he went and cheated on his wife.” Another echoed: “Wtf Danny. You are married with a child. Fans are meant to respect you but how can they when you don’t even respect yourself.” Someone else added: “Oh Danny you had it all man.” Another fan defended Danny, as they wrote: “Omg EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP! These are people lives. Leave them alone.”

Someone else agreed, as they penned: “If you have come here commenting in the most negative way, when we don’t know all the facts shame on you, for trying to bring somebody down.” While another quipped: “The Brits is the most unpredictable night of the year.”

His wife Georgia has received an outpouring of support from fans online as one fan wrote: “I’m so sorry if it’s true with Danny.” Another added: “I’m so, so sorry, you are such a beautiful person inside and out. We are all here for you xxxxx.” A third said: “We’re all behind you,” while another fan urged: “Please can you address if you’re okay,” along with a heart emoji.

Danny and Georgia had an emotional reunion when he won I’m A Celebrity late last year. He had a busy 2024 thanks to competing on The Masked Singer, coaching on The Voice, and his trip to the jungle that kept him in Australia for weeks. Georgia admitted she was “burnt out” from keeping the home front afloat in a candid post from January.

She posted a video of herself on a solo trip, staying at a cabin in the snow. Georgia explained the reason for the holiday as she said: “I was going into this New Year burnt out. Everything I didn’t want to feel entering 2025… I felt. Over a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own, working hard on my career whilst Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!

“So whilst I was still in Australia I decided I needed to do something for me… a solo trip, one to push me out of my comfort zone but also one to give me the break I craved. So… I booked a little cabin in the middle of nowhere, somewhere near Shropshire, and found a little nugget of calm in my overwhelmed brain. I chopped fire wood, built fires, sat in silence, read books, slept, took in the views, watched the sheep in the nearby field… and it was perfect.”
