Celebrity Big Brother’s Ella Rae Wise storms out in tears as fans say same thing

Celebrity Big Brother revealed a new twist to nominations on Monday evening, but things got too much for Ella Rae Wise who complained to Danny Beard about her fellow housemates

The latest Celebrity Big Brother task proved too much for Ella Rae Wise as she stormed out in tears. It came as housemates had to make their eviction nominations in front of each other in a cruel twist.

As a number of her fellow housemates shared their reasons for picking her, Ella had enough when yet another housemate made their decision and leant against the wall outside the space in tears.

JoJo had told her she felt Ella seemingly wanted there to be a “negative or drama” as she explained her nomination reason. “I feel that can be really hard when it feels like there’s a tension that doesn’t need to be there.”

As the tears flowed, Ella decided it was best if she left the room, with JoJo saying: “It’s not easy.”

Danny Beard followed her to try to comfort her and telling her to “phase it out”, but she complained at the reasons given.

Fans online were left unsure over Ella’s actions, however. One user on Twitter /X questioned: “I think Ella broke the rules on purpose coz she wants more airtime! #CBBUK.”

Another said: “Ella needs a new game, her cying for attention flopped almost as hard as her expected showmance #CBBUK. A third added: “Ella they’re all playing a game because its a GAME SHOW and maybe you’re being nominated because you dont like doing the thing you signed up for.”

It was the second time on the episode that Ella was seen in tears. She also broke down after breaking a rule prior to the nominations twist. Housemates are not allowed to discuss nominations as part of the rules on the show but Ella and Angellica spoke to each other regarding their thoughts.

They were both sent to garden jail for their punishment.

Elsewhere, there were also tears for Chris Hughes after discovering a fellow housemate had called him annoying. As the group were tasked with finding hidden Easter eggs throughout the house, a clue described how one egg was where someone had said Chris had been annoying them. Visibly shaken at the confession, Chris wanted to know who had said it.

He headed to the Diary Room following the game and spent 63 minutes talking to Big Brother. He said: “I’m exhausted in this house to be honest. I think I’m too normal and lead a stress free life. If people have things to say just say it and air it.”

As he became tearful, he went on: “I hate toxic stuff in life. I hate toxic energy. It just brings you down. You can feel when energy shifts and it’s just not nice.

“I don’t want to be emotional and sad but sometimes you just can’t help it.”

Celebrity Big Brother continues weeknights at 9PM ON ITV1 and ITVX
