Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has revealed the reaction his famous family had to his latest career venture.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 26, is no stranger to trying his hand at new things but he’s now putting his culinary passions on pause as he enters the world of motorsport for a new adventure.
Speaking as he takes part in the Formula E’s Evo Sessions at the Miami International Autodrome, which sees 11 famous faces strapping into the lightning fast GEN3 Evo race ca, Brooklyn revealed dad David’s warning to his new challenge and the saucy reason why wife Nicola Peltz Beckham wants him to turn racing into a full-time job.
“Obviously, my dad was just like, ‘just be careful’,” Brooklyn shared when speaking to the Mirror and other press on Wednesday night. “But it’s something that me and my dad have definitely bonded over, over the years. You know, we’re both into cars, both into racing – he’s really excited, and just said: ‘Be careful. You be careful and have fun’.”
Wife Nicola, 30, had similar concerns but had a change of heart when she saw her husband ready to hit the track. “[Nicola] was a little bit worried [about me doing this] but then she saw me in my race outfit and was like ‘You should do this as a job. You look really good’,” Brooklyn shared during a break from training.
“She was a little bit worried. But after she saw me, after I got out of the car, she was like: ‘You look really sexy!’ So I might be changing careers,” he then joked.

Brooklyn joins the likes football superstar Sergio Agüero, Harry Potter actor Tom Felton and car enthusiast Supercar Blondie in training like professional racers, joining top teams, and hitting the track after rigorous coaching, simulator sessions, and engineering briefings.
Each participant has been teamed up with a Formula E team for their training and will be coached by a professional Formula E driver. Fans can keep up with all the action this week on Formula E’s social media channels and can anticipate a special one-off documentary due to air later in 2025.
Speaking about his involvement in the campaign, Brooklyn said: “I’ve loved motorsport all my life, so when the opportunity came to be a part of Evo Sessions with Formula E, I jumped at the chance. I love it as a sport, but it’s an incredible opportunity to actually get behind the wheel and experience what it takes to compete at the top level of motorsport. The performance of the cars is insane, so I’m pleased I’ll be learning from the best in how to get the most out of them.”
