Why did Meghan Markle f0rbid Prince Harry from getting close to the Beckham family after her first encounter with David Beckham’s sons? (video)

Meghan Markle reportedly ordered security personnel to keep David Beckham away from Prince Harry during the 2018 Invictus Games

in Australia due to her fear that the super star would steal his thunder.

David Beckham flew to Australia to be banned from meeting Prince Harry

According to Tom Bower’s new book “The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power,”,

the Royals did not want to be overshadowed by Beckham’s magnetic personality and media attention.

Beckham and his wife, Victoria, were guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May 2018, however,

but the relationship went sideways months later and that is when the snub took place.

Back in October 2018, Beckham flew to Australia to attend Harry’s Invictus Games which honor injured service people and spend some time with the Duke of Sussex, but he did not expect what was going to happen.

“Beckham found himself alone at the Invictus Games stadium,” Bower writes “Arriving on the agreed day to meet Prince Harry he was perplexed [as to] why officials were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry.”

The soccer star wanted to meet Harry and when he questioned security what was going on, they told him that “the prince had ordered that under no circumstances was the footballer to be allowed near him.”

“The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan,” the author elaborated “She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham, and especially not from his wife Victoria.”

Last year, an article came out that the Beckhams were “absolutely bloody furious” after they were accused of leaking stories about the Sussexes to the media.
