Victoria Beckham has made her mark on fashion’s biggest stage as the designer created a jaw-dropping pink lace gown for Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor.

The 29-year-old strutted the Met Gala carpet on Monday in the see-through garment delicately accessorised with three-dimensional flower and butterfly appliques.

Keeping the actress’ covered with just a few well-placed blossoms.

The jaw-dropping look turned heads and perfectly met the Garden of Time theme for the evening, which honored the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s latest exhibit.

It highlighted rare and archival fashion, some of which has become so fragile it can no longer be worn.

Never one to shy down from a challenge, the rising designer was determined to work with archival lace for the Netflix star’s gown.

And revealed the tough painstaking process she had to go through to bring it all together.

Lifting the lid on the creation of Phoebe’s gown, the mother-of-four took to Instagram with some behind-the-scenes clips on Tuesday night, writing in the caption: “The ethereal silhouette was hand-crafted from archival lace, and embellished with over 300 lace appliqué flowers, hand-cut and hand-sewn onto a tulle base.”

The custom gown was evidently “fragile and delicate” but the designer was determined to bring in some stark lines in the silhouette in order to truly reflect the actress.

Victoria gushed over Phoebe dubbing her: “A classic English rose and a fearless actress with immense strength of character.”

Phoebe’s custom gown is the first fully custom Victoria Beckham item at the Met Gala and the Posh Spice star explained to Vogue that she wanted the dress to “be almost like an extension” of Phoebe herself.

Phoebe gently accessorised the look with some delicate silver jewellery and a light pink manicure.
