Asked if she would be among the guests at the hotly-anticipated big day, she stuttered: “I, uh, I, I don’t know…”

Cheeky host James then teased: “She’s definitely going.”

“Yes. England is so excited. It is so great, isn’t it? They look so happy,” the fashion designer confirmed, though soon shut down claims she will be designing Meghan’s gown.

She confessed: “Sadly, I’m not, but I’m sure she’ll look incredible.”

Victoria and David’s attendance shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, given that they were also invited to Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton back in April 2011.

Earlier this year, Victoria’s former bandmate Mel B appeared to confirm that all of the Spice Girls had been invited to the big day – and even teased a musical performance at the ceremony.

Asked if she knew anybody who was attending during her appearance on US talk show The Real, she remarked: “I’m going – I don’t know if I should have said that.”

The America’s Got Talent judge then went on to reveal that the “proper” invitations even came in a plush box.

Meanwhile, the 43-year-old star featured on last night’s Late Late Show alongside basketball legend Shaq, following a long day of promoting their new Reebok collaboration.

Their appearance also saw the pair joke about the retired sports star randomly found her husband David’s wallet – prompting him to give a jokingly threatening phone call.

Earlier in the day, the pair were pictured publicising their collection at a photo call alongside Victoria’s sons, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12.

The images certainly made for a funny sight as the retired sports star, who stands at 7ft 1in, towered over 5ft 4in Victoria and her kids.

Poking fun at their dramatic height difference, other snaps saw Victoria sitting on Shaq’s shoulders in a bid to land a slam dunk.

Another comical shot saw the petite star stand on a large wooden box and wrap her arm around the sports star – though even then she struggled to match his height.
