The Beckham family often finds itself in the spotlight. However, today, it’s rather a somber limelight as David Beckham’s 21-year-old son is grieving a significant loss.

Saying goodbye to a cherished pet can be a very emotional experience, no matter who you are.

The pet had been in the Beckham family for quite some time, and Romeo and Mia often shared pictures of the dog on their socials.

The news came from Romeo’s official Instagram account, where the soccer player posted a picture of the dog on Instagram story. Paying tribute, he wrote a message, saying, “Rest in Paradise, lil bud.”

Mia Regan also took to Instagram to pay tribute, stating, “Thank you for blessing all of our lives, the most precious pup, love you forever and ever [red love heart emoji] rip Rufus xxx.” The couple also have a Cockapoo named Simba, who they welcomed last year. Interestingly, the love for pets runs deep in the Beckham family.

Both David Beckham and Victoria are pet lovers. Alongside Simba, Olive, Fig, and Sage are the three cocker spaniels the family has adopted. Interestingly, Fig was Brooklyn’s pet, but the Beckham family took over when he moved in with his wife, Nicola Peltz. Logan, another pooch in the runt, is a specially-trained security dog. In addition to these, the Beckham family has also petted a rabbit and two micropigs.

Their social media accounts frequently feature the couple spending quality time with their children and furry companions. Indeed, it’s quite heartwarming to witness the Beckham family’s affection for their pets.
