Recruiting Messi and Suarez still hasn’t satisfied David Beckham… who is he planning to find next?

David Beckham is extremely excited about a week full of good events for Inter Miami. The former England player wrote a message on social network Instagram: “When I first founded the club,

I dreamed of weeks like this… with Messi and Suarez inspiring our next generation of players in international youth football tournaments.

To the success off the field with 2 major awards from Sports Business Journal magazine. This club continues to make me very proud with 3 more points away from home, topping the MLS. Keep going”.

Inter Miami has just won 2 major awards from Sports Business Journal magazine as the best team in 2023 and the most impressive transfer deal when recruiting famous player Messi from July 2023.

These awards all have a great contribution from David Beckham, who directly planned and outlined the path for the club’s development.

In Inter Miami’s latest match in Canada, despite the absence of two famous players Messi

and Suarez (who were given a rest at home to participate in an international youth tournament to inspire the young players), they still won against Vancouver Whitecaps FC with a score of 2-1, extending their unbeaten streak to 10 matches and continuing to lead the MLS.

These good events made David Beckham extremely happy and excited. The President and co-owner of Inter Miami immediately returned to watch Messi and Suarez practice to prepare for the upcoming match against Atlanta United at 6:30 on May 30. He also has bigger ambitions when continuing to strengthen the team, with the possibility of recruiting veteran striker Di Maria.

According to ESPN Argentina journalist Leo Paradizo: “Di Maria has basically agreed on all financial terms to join Inter Miami. However, David Beckham’s club is still waiting for the player to make a final decision on whether to come after June 30 (when his contract with Benfica expires), or to come in early 2025. With this development, it is certain that Messi, Di Maria, Suarez, Busquets and Jordi Alba will retire together at Inter Miami”.

Meanwhile, Inter Miami coach Tata Martino confirmed: “Messi, Suarez and Busquets, after being absent from the match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, will return to play from the beginning in the match against Atlanta United. After that, they will continue to play against St. Louis City SC (6:30 a.m. on June 2). After these matches, Messi will return to the Argentina team to prepare for the Copa America”.
David Beckham is truly thrilled about the recent success of Inter Miami, as the team continues to shine both on and off the field. With the recent accolades from Sports Business Journal magazine, naming the club as the best team in 2023 and recognizing their impressive transfer deal for Messi, Beckham’s vision for the club is coming to fruition. The team’s recent victory against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, despite the absence of star players Messi and Suarez, showcases the depth and strength of the Inter Miami squad.Looking ahead, Beckham is not resting on his laurels. He is already planning to bolster the team even further by potentially bringing in veteran striker Di Maria. With all financial terms agreed upon, it’s now up to Di Maria to make the final decision on joining the club after his contract with Benfica expires. If the deal goes through, the prospect of having Messi, Di Maria, Suarez, Busquets, and Jordi Alba all play together at Inter Miami is an exciting one.Coach Tata Martino has also confirmed the return of Messi, Suarez, and Busquets for the upcoming matches against Atlanta United and St. Louis City SC. After these fixtures, Messi will join the Argentina national team in preparation for the Copa America. The team is undoubtedly in good hands with Martino’s guidance and the star power of players like Messi and Suarez leading the charge. As Inter Miami continues to make strides in the MLS, Beckham’s passion and dedication to the club are unwavering. Stay tuned for more updates on the team’s progress and future plans, as Beckham and his team strive for even greater success in the upcoming matches and seasons.
