Netflix announces Victoria Beckham show following success of David Beckham series

preview for Beckham documentary series - Official Trailer (Netflix)

Victoria Beckham has landed her own documentary series over at Netflix.

Following the success of her husband David Beckham’s docuseries Beckham last year – which chronicled the footballer’s meteoric rise to become one of England’s most celebrated players – the streaming service has announced a new docuseries that will this time follow former Spice Girl Victoria and her role as a business owner.

Announcing the news on X, Netflix’s official account wrote: “In the most Posh news ever, a Victoria Beckham documentary series is now in production!

“The series will follow her reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand — offering exclusive access to Victoria, her fashion and beauty business, and her never-before-seen archives.”

After rising to fame in the ’90s as a member of hit girl group the Spice Girls, Victoria became a high-end fashion designer, launching her own eponymous label in 2008. She went on to launch her own skincare and beauty line in 2019.

According to Tudum, the currently untitled series will also explore the star’s time in the global spotlight and “get up close and personal” with her as she juggles her business and family life.

Further details, including who will direct the series and its release date, are yet to be announced.

Victoria also featured in David’s docuseries last year, where her husband poked fun at her for claiming she came from a working-class background, despite her dad owning a Rolls Royce.

David trolled his wife again for the comment earlier this year when sharing a photo of the couple enjoying a New Year’s Eve lunch with Victoria’s parents.

“Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz @victoriabeckham,” he joked in the post’s caption. “Very working class. My mother & father in law left in there Roll’s”.
