Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘at odds’ with Beckhams over one thing they can’t forgive

David Beckham and Prince William have appeared to have struck up a new friendship after being seen laughing and joking together as they inspected a new air ambulance helicopter

An expert has suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “at odds” with David and Victoria Beckham due to a significant reason. Speculation has been rife about the strained relationship between the two couples, as the Beckhams seem to have favoured Prince William and Princess Kate over the Sussexes.

This speculation was further fuelled when Prince William, accompanied by David Beckham, inspected a new air ambulance helicopter just hours after his estranged brother, Prince Harry, made a rare UK appearance.

The Prince of Wales, who is the patron of the London Air Ambulance charity, launched its Up Against Time appeal to fund two new helicopters for its service. He was joined by David Beckham to view the new H135 helicopters, purchased after the fundraising appeal amassed an impressive £16 million.

The Omaze campaign for the appeal contributed four million to this total, with Beckham’s backing.

Richard Eden now suggests that it’s hardly surprising that the Beckhams would side against Meghan and Harry following their family feud, which left David and Victoria unimpressed. The expert asserts that David has always been a staunch supporter of the Royals, even going so far as to “who would stand up for the Queen’s Speech every Christmas, dressed in his Sunday best.”

Adding that “years later, he queued for 12 hours to view the Queen’s coffin when her body was lying in state.”

But crucially, “Both David and Victoria put great importance on family and would never, ever turn on their relations the way that Harry and Meghan did.”

An associate of Eden revealed: “The truth is that Victoria never really liked Meghan much. She was friendly and welcoming to her but is not bothered about staying in touch.”

During an engagement with London’s Air Ambulance Charity, for which the Prince of Wales serves as Patron, David Beckham was selected to lead the house draw thanks to a personal invitation extended by Prince William himself. Beckham expressed his feelings, stating: “We’re here today to celebrate … the success of the fundraiser for London’s air ambulances which is something close to my heart and has been for a number of years. I’m an East End boy so every time we saw them in the air it made us very proud. As soon as I was asked to be involved by Prince William it was something I was very honoured (to do) in all honesty.”

The atmosphere was warm and jovial as William, aged 42, reunited with Beckham, greeting him like a long-lost friend before they both stepped into one of the H135 helicopters. Never missing a chance for a bit of nostalgia, the Prince took the pilot’s seat; reminiscent of his time serving as an air ambulance pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance from March 2015 until July 2017a period he recalls with fondness while conversing with the present pilots and medical crew.

Football enthusiast William seemed to exchange a light-hearted moment with the ex-footballer in the cockpit, both donning matching outfits of dark suits and open-collar shirts. The pair left their mark on each aircraft, with William penning “back in the middle! ” on one, while Beckham inscribed “Thank you! Fly safe, love David Beckham”, complete with a kiss and his iconic shirt number 7.
