Nicola Peltz-Beckham is expected to be among the guests at her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham’s upcoming 50th birthday celebrations next week alongside other relatives.

Victoria, 49, will reportedly mark the milestone birthday on Wednesday with a “family day,” joined by her four children.

The fashion designer and her husband David Beckham, 48, are parents to Brooklyn Beckham, 25, Romeo Beckham, 21, Cruz Beckham, 19, and Harper Beckham, 12.

Brooklyn is expected to return to the UK with his wife Nicola, 29, for the special occasion.

The couple – who celebrated their second wedding anniversary earlier this week – are understood to live in the US at the moment.

It’s been reported that Victoria – who rose to fame as a member of the Spice Girls – is said to be having a “posh dinner” next weekend for the occasion too.

Her four kids and her daughter-in-law Nicola are believed to be on the guest list.

A source told the Daily Mail that the “family gathering” on her birthday will be “small” and “intimate,” adding that it’s the “best present” that Victoria could receive. It’s teased that David has a “few surprises” planned for the occasion, which will reportedly be celebrated next week in London.

The source told the outlet that Victoria’s children will be staying “for a few days” and that they will join her at a “posh dinner on Saturday night”. It was added that Nicola is the “one guest who it really will warm her heart to see”.

The source said that Nicola has a “huge” extended family so her mother Claudia Peltz, 69, has “lots of different children to attend to”. They added: “Nicola has formed this beautiful bond with Victoria [and] is literally like her own daughter.”

There was previously some speculation of an alleged “feud” between Victoria and her daughter-in-law Nicola. There were rumours of tension within the family following the latter’s wedding to Brooklyn, which took place in 2022.

It had been rumoured that there was tension over the bride having not worn a dress from Victoria’s fashion label at the wedding. Nicola has however addressed this and the family have seemingly dismissed the suggestion of a “feud”.

Nicola suggested that it was due to logistics, saying once that her mother-in-law’s atelier wasn’t able to make her wedding dress. She told Variety in 2022: “[Victoria] didn’t say you can’t wear it. I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it.” Brooklyn added to the outlet that “everyone gets along”.

Other examples of the family dismissing claims of tension include last year when Nicola dismissed the idea of a ‘feud’. She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud.” And more recently, Victoria supported her at the launch of her directorial debut Lola (2024) in February, again suggesting they are on good terms.

Further suggesting that any drama is now behind them, the source told the Daily Mail ahead of the birthday: “Repairing that fallout is something that Victoria is immensely proud of, and it brings her so much joy that she will be part of these celebrations. To have her there is a wonderful gift.”
