The actress said the former professional soccer player was “so kind”

Thanks to David Beckham, Halle Berry made one of her son’s biggest dreams come true.

Maceo-Robert Martinez, 10, met the former professional soccer player at Inter Miami’s game against the LA Galaxy on Sunday.

“Thank you @mls & @davidbeckham for making my son’s dream come true and for giving me some extra ‘cool mom’ points 🤍⚽️,” wrote Berry next to photos from the game on Instagram.

In one snap, Berry smiled as she wrapped her arm around Maceo-Robert’s shoulder. Another photo showed Beckham conversing with the preteen and a fellow fan.

In a follow-up post, Berry shared a video of Beckham talking with Maceo-Robert and giving him a high-five.

She credited Beckham as being “so kind” in the caption, adding, “When your kid meets his hero, and he’s more than he could have ever imagined!” At the game, Berry also took photos with fellow movie star Halle Bailey.

Berry shares Maceo-Robert with ex-husband Olivier Martinez. She is also a mom to her daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, 15, with ex Gabriel Aubry.

During a 2021 appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Berry said that her kids are “comfortable” with her relationship with her boyfriend, Van Hunt. Her son even held an impromptu “commitment ceremony” for them.

“This was a ceremony by an 8-year-old in the back seat of the car who said, ‘Mom, you should get married to him.’ I said, ‘Really, I should marry to him?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I pronounce you man and wife.’ So we’re like, ‘Oh, okay. We’re married!’ But we’re not married,” she said. “So that’s our commitment ceremony. It’s silly. It’s sweet.”

Sunday’s game was also a memorable experience for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son Saint West. The 8-year-old got to walk onto the field with Lionel Messi ahead of the big game.

The moment was shared on Inter Miami’s social media pages and by Kardashian, 43, on X, formerly Twitter.
