GB News presenter was left mortified after accidentally sending an intimate text to their boss.

While the presenter shared their embarrassment, their co-stars were left in hysterics over the blunder.

TV host Stephen Dixon inadvertently told the show’s producer that he was madly in love with him and was left seriously red-faced by the mix-up.

The news anchor, 55, confessed to his mistake on Thursday’s show, explaining that his husband was away from home and in his hurry to respond to a ‘good morning’ text, replied to the wrong person.

He revealed: ‘[I wrote] “Good morning angel, love you, hope you had a nice sleep” and I sent it to my producer!’

Ellie Costello then took over the story-telling, revealing to viewers that their producer had replied.

She said: ‘Our producer replied and was like, “Is this for me? I did sleep well thank you.”

‘Ah, it was brilliant!’.

This isn’t the first time Stephen mentioned his husband during the show, later revealing that if his beloved partner died, he would never re-marry or even date anyone new.

The candid confession came as the host read out messages from viewers which proved that you can find love later in life.

One fan revealed she had got engaged at 70 while another had Stephen’s co-host Ellie blushing with the admission that he falls in love with his wife all over again on a daily basis.

Stephen replied to one viewer who told the show that he had recently found his partner for life.

He said: ‘That’s what I’d be like.

‘If anything happened [to my husband], I’d never ever be with anyone else ever again.’
