Prince Harry’s guests, who were there to watch him wed American actress Meghan Markle, shared a tender kiss before the ceremony.

But it seemed Elton wanted to savour the kiss on the mouth – by licking his lips straight afterwards.

A viewer who spotted the amusing moment said: “Cheeky kiss on the lips from Elton John to David Beckham, which is fine until Elton licks his lips after.”

Another said: “Elton John almost malfunctioned with a kiss on the lips from Beckham.”

Elton wore pink-tinted glasses for the occasion. He is said to be entertaining guests at Windsor Castle later tonight at the reception.

Newly married couple Harry and Meghan beamed with happiness as they were officially declared husband and wife.

Harry, 33, had been overcome with emotion at the sight of his bride – telling Meghan “you look amazing” as the couple met at the altar today.

The ceremony went without a hitch and was praised for being a “groundbreaking multicultural wedding”, which featured a gospel choir and American bishop.
