David was embarrassed when Victoria m0cked him and the Wrexham star exposed him for having a “properly relaxed” hobby

Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster has shed light on a pastime that helped Manchester United legend David Beckham relax during his time with the England national team.

Foster disclosed that Beckham had a deep love for Lego and would spend hours completing sets while on international duty.

During an episode of his podcast, Fozcast, Foster shared: “He used to bring Lego sets to England.

“He would go into his room and just do Lego all night. It would proper chill him out. He would just sit there, do his Lego set, have a nice time. Lovely.”

Beckham’s fondness for Lego is no secret with the Inter Miami owner having mentioned it in interviews over the years.

In a 2020 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the six-time Premier League winner discussed his passion for building blocks.

“I grew up making Lego when I was eight or nine years old,” Beckham said. “Actually, I continue it and Victoria always laughs at me. She’ll come down at like two o’clock in the morning and I’ll be trying to finish a piece off.

“She posted something the other day and I think she said because it was like 11 years and above, she was like: ‘Really? You are still up at two o’clock in the morning doing 11 years and above Lego?’”

The football icon has even shared his Lego creations on his Instagram page, including impressive projects such as Hogwarts castle, the Millennium Falcon, and the Disney castle. It comes as no surprise that Beckham enjoys spending his downtime alone, as Foster mentioned earlier in the podcast episode that he was a quiet person.

“He was quite quiet actually,” Foster recalled when asked about Beckham’s captaincy during England duty (via the Express US ). “A quiet guy, I really liked him. He was really nice, personable, friendly. He was just a really good bloke. He was Becks, he had this aura about him, and everyone just loved him and respected him.”

Beckham played at three World Cups during his 115-cap England career and captained the Three Lions at three tournaments from 2002 to 2006. Foster made eight appearances for the national side between 2007 and 2014.
