David Beckham was spotted grabbing a smoothie before he posed for a selfie with a fan while he enjoyed a stroll around LA on Tuesday.

The footballer legend, 49, cut a casual figure for the outing as he wore a fitted navy blue T-shirt and jeans for his outing.

In keeping with the summer spells in LA, he finished his look with a pair of white slip-on tennis pumps.

Holding onto his lightly-coloured drink, David flashed a smile when a passerby requested a quick picture from the football legend.

The fan appeared delighted to have sported the sporting legend as he flashed a smile for the photograph.

David’s outing comes just days after spoke fondly about daughter Harper.

He praised efforts to support females all over the world on Friday, in a bid to raise awareness of gender inequity.

The Inter Miami CF co-owner took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with a group of young girls who seemed delighted to meet the sporting legend.

He captioned the picture: ‘As a proud @unicef Goodwill Ambassador and father to an incredible daughter, an issue close to my heart is for girls everywhere to have their voices heard, to learn and have the chance to fulfil their potential.

‘On this #DayoftheGirl, we encourage our world leaders to continue the fight to protect the rights of adolescent girls #GirlGoals’.

In another image, taken by the charity responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide, the star could be seen sharing a joke with a young teen.

He wore a black T-shirt with Unicef written across it, while the young girl threw her head back and laughed at whatever had just been said.

In the comment section, Unicef responded to the father-of-four and penned: ‘Thank you, David, for always standing with us! Together, we’re helping girls reach their goals and create a brighter future.
