David Beckham planned to achieve a new title by continuously currying favor with King Charles, even if it meant betr@ying his friendship with Prince Harry (video)

David and Victoria Beckham are said to be hoping to gain new titles after teaming up with King Charles, it has been claimed.

The celebrity couple have a long history with the Royal Family, and have scored invitations to various royal events such as both weddings for Prince Harry and Prince William.

David and Victoria’s reported feud with Meghan Markle had made headlines.

Prince Harry is said to have left the England legend “furious” after accusing Victoria of leaking about his wife to the press.

Now, David has been made an ambassador for The King’s Foundation – which was formerly known as the Prince’s Foundation.

The 40-year-old attended the King’s Foundation Awards in London today.

This move is said to have pleased Victoria, according to a source – especially as David now has an “in” with the King.

As reported by Yahoo! Life, the source added: “It’s no secret that Victoria and David’s documentary was more popular than Meghan and Harry’s. This helped them, especially Victoria, win over a lot of people.

“Now that David is ‘in’ with King Charles – plus the fact they are on good terms with Kate and William – it puts all the rumours about her allegedly leaking stories to the press behind her. It focuses on her and David’s relationship with the royal family in a positive way.”

The source added that Victoria is now hoping the couple can be granted their own titles.

They added: “She even sees this as his way to get a knighthood and become Sir David Beckham, while Victoria would become Lady Beckham.”

As well as his new role as ambassador, David has also been working closely with the King to support educational programmes that give young individuals access to nature.

David, who shares four children with Victoria, recently paid a visit to the King’s Highgrove home in Gloucestershire.

Opening up about his new appointment, David recently said: “It was inspiring to hear from the King about the work of His Majesty’s foundation during my recent visit to Highgrove – and compare beekeeping tips!”

Less than a year on from the release of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s docuseries, Harry and Meghan, Beckham was released.

Victoria and David’s show clocked up a whopping 208.5million hours – compared to Harry and Meghan’s 72.9million hours.

According to a source, Victoria was “happy” with the reaction from fans, with one fan even taking to social media to say that it made them “believe in love again”.

A source at the time said: “Victoria can’t help but feel happy that their Netflix documentary is popular. It shows they have a lot of public support globally. She won over a lot of people in their series, whereas she knows Meghan and Harry’s did the opposite. It sort of alienated them.”
The collaboration between David and Victoria Beckham with King Charles has sparked rumors of them potentially gaining new titles. Their strong ties with the Royal Family, evident through their attendance at royal events and weddings, have positioned them favorably within royal circles. Despite previous reports of tension with Meghan Markle, the Beckhams’ recent appointment as ambassadors for The King’s Foundation (formerly the Prince’s Foundation) has brought them closer to King Charles. Victoria is particularly pleased with this development, as David’s newfound connection with the King may help dispel rumors about her alleged involvement with the press. In fact, there is speculation that Victoria is hopeful for their own titles in the future, envisioning Sir David Beckham and Lady Beckham.Aside from his ambassadorial role, David has been actively involved in supporting educational initiatives that promote access to nature for young individuals. His recent visit to the King’s Highgrove home in Gloucestershire provided insights into the foundation’s work, sparking conversations about beekeeping among other topics. In contrast to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s docuseries, the Beckhams’ Netflix documentary garnered a significantly larger viewership, with fans expressing positivity and renewed faith in love after watching. Victoria’s happiness at the documentary’s success reflects the couple’s global public support, contrasting with the mixed reactions to Harry and Meghan’s series which led to some alienation. The Beckhams’ journey continues to captivate audiences worldwide, showcasing their enduring relationship with the Royal Family and their commitment to philanthropic endeavors.
