David and Victoria Beckham are said to be hoping to gain new titles after teaming up with King Charles, it has been claimed.

The celebrity couple have a long history with the Royal Family, and have scored invitations to various royal events such as both weddings for Prince Harry and Prince William.

David and Victoria’s reported feud with Meghan Markle had made headlines.

Prince Harry is said to have left the England legend “furious” after accusing Victoria of leaking about his wife to the press.

Now, David has been made an ambassador for The King’s Foundation – which was formerly known as the Prince’s Foundation.

The 40-year-old attended the King’s Foundation Awards in London today.

This move is said to have pleased Victoria, according to a source – especially as David now has an “in” with the King.

As reported by Yahoo! Life, the source added: “It’s no secret that Victoria and David’s documentary was more popular than Meghan and Harry’s. This helped them, especially Victoria, win over a lot of people.

“Now that David is ‘in’ with King Charles – plus the fact they are on good terms with Kate and William – it puts all the rumours about her allegedly leaking stories to the press behind her. It focuses on her and David’s relationship with the royal family in a positive way.”

The source added that Victoria is now hoping the couple can be granted their own titles.

They added: “She even sees this as his way to get a knighthood and become Sir David Beckham, while Victoria would become Lady Beckham.”

As well as his new role as ambassador, David has also been working closely with the King to support educational programmes that give young individuals access to nature.

David, who shares four children with Victoria, recently paid a visit to the King’s Highgrove home in Gloucestershire.

Opening up about his new appointment, David recently said: “It was inspiring to hear from the King about the work of His Majesty’s foundation during my recent visit to Highgrove – and compare beekeeping tips!”

Less than a year on from the release of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s docuseries, Harry and Meghan, Beckham was released.

Victoria and David’s show clocked up a whopping 208.5million hours – compared to Harry and Meghan’s 72.9million hours.

According to a source, Victoria was “happy” with the reaction from fans, with one fan even taking to social media to say that it made them “believe in love again”.

A source at the time said: “Victoria can’t help but feel happy that their Netflix documentary is popular. It shows they have a lot of public support globally. She won over a lot of people in their series, whereas she knows Meghan and Harry’s did the opposite. It sort of alienated them.”
