David and Victoria’s $40M London townhouse ran into legal trouble when the former owner forgot about this

David Beckham has reacted to Manchester United’s FA Cup win on Saturday.

Erik ten Hag’s side produced a brilliant performance to deny their rivals an unprecedented double double with a 2-1 win at Wembley.

The victory ended City’s 35-match unbeaten run across all competitions and ensured United ended a difficult season on a high.

Kobbie Mainoo shone again in midfield after putting the Red Devils 2-0 up before half-time. Alejandro Garnacho was another young star who enjoyed a fine afternoon after netting the opener.

And club legend Beckham has now responded on social media to his former club’s surprise win, praising both of United’s academy graduates.

The former midfielder made over 390 appearances for the club, scoring 85 goals and providing 120 assists which contributed to six Premier League titles.

“Straight from our academy,” he said on Instagram, with a picture of Garnacho and Mainoo followed by two love heart emojis. “This is what it means,” he added.

When asked what the key was to their second-half display, Mainoo told ITV Sport: “Just not getting carried away with ourselves. We have to be humble and respect them.

“They can do a lot of danger to us, especially coming out into the second half, so we just had to keep our heads and keep together.”

The 19-year-old, who made his full Premier League debut in November, couldn’t remember much of his goal against City when asked about it after the full-time whistle.

He explained: “To be honest, it was such an amazing moment I can’t even remember it! I remember making a run and sliding it into the corner – that’s about it.

“The quality he has [Bruno Fernandes], he sees things no one else can. I tried to shout him and didn’t know if he could hear me, but he just found me in the right spot and I was able to finish it.”
