And according to Sport, Beckham is pushing to bring Luka Modric to Inter Miami,
although the deal is unlikely to be completed as the veteran midfielder is close to signing a new contract with Los Blancos.
Modric has been linked with Inter Miami for some time now, and has been rumoured to be leaving the Spanish capital for a new challenge.
However, Modric is likely to stay with the Champions League holders.
Inter Miami head into the summer with a major hole to fill in central defence, following Nicolas Freire’s season-ending injury.
While Modric could be another high-profile signing for Inter Miami, he wouldn’t solve their main problem.
So it wouldn’t be a disaster if Inter Miami failed to pursue Modric, although the move could still happen in the future.
