Brooklyn Beckham has revealed that he’s ‘obviously’ a nepo-baby, as he hit back at trolls by insisting he ‘can’t help how he was born’.

The budding chef, 25, shared that as the son of superstars David and Victoria Beckham, he knows there’s ‘always going to be people that say rubbish,’ and he’s grown to accept he’ll always come under fire from some online.

Speaking to Grazia Magazine, Brooklyn also shared insight into his plans to start a family with his wife Nicola Peltz, saying he’d ‘love to be a young dad.’

Reflecting on the public’s reaction to his cooking videos, Brooklyn said: ‘Yeah, of course. Obviously I am one [a nepo-baby]. But I couldn’t help how I was born, at all.’

Brooklyn added that he’s grown to accept ‘that he’s always gonna get it, no matter what I do. And I’m fine with that. It makes me work harder, because I’m like, I’m gonna prove those people wrong.’

The aspiring chef, who has recently launched his new range of hot sauce under his brand Cloud23, also shared his plans to start a family with his wife Nicola/

He added: ‘Whenever my wife’s ready. I’ve always wanted to be a young dad. I love that my dad’s young, he was like my mate.’

It comes after Brooklyn celebrated his anniversary with wife Nicola with a gushing Instagram tribute.

The pair couldn’t look more loved-up as they were captured putting on a cosy display to celebrate five years together – two of which they’ve been married.

Brooklyn penned: ‘Happy anniversary baby xx I’m the luckiest guy in the world to have you by my side everyday and wake up to your gorgeous face everyday xx I love you with all my heart.’

Nicola, 29, also shared a Instagram story with a bouquet of white roses with the caption: ‘I love you so much.’

The snap also showed a sweet note from her man, which read: ‘Dear Nicole. Happy anniversary baby girl x we are the strongest we have ever been and I have so much love for you and you are my best friend and I can’t believe you are my wife xx I am the luckiest person to ever exist and I’m so happy to call you my wife x I love you and I love everything about you xx I love you baby xx Love Brooklyn xx.’

Brooklyn re-shared the Story onto his account and tagged @Cloud23, his new spicy sauce that could be seen in the background.

The former model announced the launch of his new hot brand last month and his family have been in full support.

Cloud 23, named after the No.23 jersey his father wore at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, comes in two variants – Sweet Jalapeno and Hot Habanero.

‘I did my research and I just felt like there was this hole in the market with luxury condiments, especially for a really good price,’ Brooklyn told Delish magazine.

Explaining his move into condiments, he said, ‘I’ve always been a foodie. I’ve always been lucky enough to travel to different places in the world with my mum and dad. Obviously my dad with football, we lived in Madrid, we lived in LA, Milan.

‘Then Covid happened, I met my wife and started cooking for her and just fell in love with it. And now it’s just something that just takes my mind off of things.’

Brooklyn and his wife were initially linked after they were spotted in each other’s company during a Halloween party in 2019.

The happy couple went Instagram official with their relationship the following January, and got engaged that July.

They went on to tie the knot during a lavish wedding ceremony that took place in Palm Beach in April 2022.

Brooklyn opened up about married life at the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity in June.

He said: ‘It’s so important to find that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with. I married my best mate so it’s the best.’

Brooklyn also confirmed he does all the cooking and cleaning at home, saying: ‘My wife can’t cook at all.’

The former model said he and Nicola are homebodies who generally prefer to ‘dine in’ rather than go out.

Discussing his passion for food, Brooklyn told how he was lucky to be exposed to a wide variety of cuisines while travelling with his father David as a child.

The pair are competitive with each other in the kitchen and have had cook-offs judged by Nicola and Brooklyn’s mother Victoria.
