In 1998 the then Posh Spice and footballer David Beckham announced their engagement.

This was the first poignant time they dressed the same.

They both went for an all black look, which included fur collared coats and polo-neck jumpers.

In 1999 the couple got all leathered up for a trip to the Versace Club.

They both wore gigantic diamond crucifixes and low slung trousers.
